I prefer Terminator 1 to Terminator 2 Jurassic Park 3 to Jurassic Park 2 X-Men 2 should be as low as X-Men 3, if not lower. BTTF films should all be equal. LOTR Fellowship was the clear best out of the 3, followed by Return IMO.I also prefer Spiderman 1 to Spiderman 2. Why is Jurassic Park 1 so low down? It's one of the best films ever. LOTR films prob gets generalized into equal levels because it seems like one big film...even if one is better, people will still think that they're all at the same level since it's just a part of one piece I agree & also shocked with how high The Matrix is...I'm just not a fan of it. Yeah I know they get generalized but I think it's unfair because the first film is SOOO much better than the other 2 IMO. Matrix one is pretty good, I wouldn't put it along the "greatest of all time" lines, but it's worth owning on DVD. The other 2 are unwatchable though.

I think most of these are pretty spot on. I mean it's not perfect to my exact liking, but overall, seems like public opinion.
For me, I like Batman Returns more than Batman (89). I think Last Crusade is on par with Raiders, and definitely better than Temple of Doom, but Indy is my favorite "trilogy" of all time, so it's semantics. I think they are being a little exaggerative on how bad some of the 3rd films are in these ratings. Again though, seems pretty accurate in terms of how the critics ranked the films and how they are received to the general movie going public.
Nolan's Batman trilogy ranks similar to Mad Max for me. TDK is easily my favorite and the Empire of the trilogy but I'm not in love with the other two nearly as much.

If it is referring to Burtons Bats movies then its all wrong for me. 89 will always be my favourite because it features Nicholson's spot on Joker and heaps of other greatness.
I really dig Batman Returns too....but don't put it on the Batman 89 level. Its my favourite live action Batman movie.
As for Nolan's movies Batman Begins remains my favourite with TDKR just edging out TDK for 2nd place.

I balk at the rating for Jurassic Park. I don't care if my opinion is clouded by nostalgia and dinosaur bias.

Saw this picture online, thought it would get a good discussion, the more blue there is, the better the movie. I'd say the Batman on this list, is the original 3 movies, not the Nolan movies I prefer Terminator 1 to Terminator 2 Jurassic Park 3 to Jurassic Park 2 X-Men 2 should be as low as X-Men 3, if not lower. BTTF films should all be equal. LOTR Fellowship was the clear best out of the 3, followed by Return IMO. I also prefer Spiderman 1 to Spiderman 2. Everything you just said baffled me.

I prefer Terminator 1 to Terminator 2 Jurassic Park 3 to Jurassic Park 2 X-Men 2 should be as low as X-Men 3, if not lower. BTTF films should all be equal. LOTR Fellowship was the clear best out of the 3, followed by Return IMO. I also prefer Spiderman 1 to Spiderman 2. Everything you just said baffled me. Terminator 2 is one of my all time favorite films, but 1 just edges it IMO. IMO it has more "heart", being that the main relationship is between 2 humans, rather than a kid and a bot. I also think that man vs. machine was cooler than machine vs. machine. Jurassic Park 2 was weak, JP3 was ok, better than JP2 at least. X-Men 2 brutally butchered one of my all time favorite Marvel characters (Nightcrawler), and was essentially a "Wolverine + X-Men" film. Cyclops was barely in it and having Magneto assist the X-Men in the second film felt way too soon. But really, all the X-Men films are god awful compared to what they could have been (see: Avengers). I actually miss-spoke about the BTTF films, #2 is the weakest out of the 3 films. Fellowship had such a great feeling to it, and had me completely engaged throughout. A lot of the 2nd film was just a slow build up to the battle at Helms Deep. Three was fantastic too, but I'd say the first just edges it out. All three are some of my favorite films ever though. Spiderman 1 was pretty much a perfect Spiderman film, and felt like a perfect representation of the original comics. Spiderman 2 was fantastic too, but Doc Ock's character wasn't a great representation of the comic version of the character, I didn't like the way that he was being controlled, and that he essentially wasn't really a villain after all.

Star Trek 1 should be lower. Such a boring opening movie and Star Trek 2 should be as high as Star Wars 2.
