Saw a couple photos on Ebay earlier, did the Kurt Angle in AD 13 have TTL style arms?
And if he did, did anyone know the reason behind this?

Two of the three sets had TTL arms. Mysterio and Teddy Long had RA arms.

Unfortunately, that WAS the explanation we got from Jakks. Somehow the Chinese New Year caused production problems, and all the Angles,Reigns.Graniers,and Conways in that set got stumped with the OLD TTL non jointed arms. There was a claim that we woud see a corrected run of those two sets, but much like Mattels Honky Tonk Man belt promises from last year, these revised sets never came out. This "excuse" has become one of the longest running jokes here on Wfigs. Its gone from the most ridiculous explanation for cheaping out, to legendary status here. Perhaps our longest running inside joke........although Stong and Topless Mick Foley have been quick to join it in WFigs folklore. |

The only Sylvan Grenier figure he ever had, had the perfect attire but was messed up with TTL arms. I remember those sets shelfwarming like crazy back in the day

funny. I just ran across one at my LCS yesterday after I saw this thread. I almost thought about picking him up but I saw a Vintage Phoenix Toys Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips for only 8 bucks and went with him instead.
