Has anyone considered Sting? He fits this right? Unless you count his time in the wolfpak... Sting was in the nWo...Wolfpac counts. Ric Flair is probably the best guess here now unless they're counting Edge winning the WCW US Title in 2001. DDP already has a legends figure, it wouldn't be him. There's nobody else it could realistically be other than... Ric Flair in Survivor Series '92 purple and gold attire with the robe and with the World Heavyweight Title. I'd say the Edge title reign absolutely puts him in contention. Foley, Jericho, Mysterio, and Eddie could all still be in the running as well. |

I didn't even remember Goldberg winning the tag titles, and I was still watching WCW at that time. I just had to go look that up to make sure it was real. How could you forget the Vince Russo classic...tag champions that hate each other with Bret Hart? Hahahaha Vince Russo jokes never get old. |

Wasn't Flair somehow part of WWE's terrible version of NWO towards the end?
Whoever the exclusive is, a classic WCW United States title accessory would be AMAZING. Really hope it happens one day.

Nope. The nWo at the end was HBK, Big Show, X-Pac, and Kevin Nash. Booker T as well, but he was kicked out. On the night in which General Managers were announced, McMahon came out and announced that the nWo was no more - that the nWo era was finished. That's how it ended. I don't think Flair was involved, other than being the 'owner' of RAW at the time. |
