Hahaha Its awesome to see I'm not the only one who really wants a Raven figure. Also, this is a milestone. 100 pages, no locks, no fights!!! raven was one of my favorites back then, I'd love a figure of him To this day, he is my favorite. First seeing him in WCW. I don't know if it was the too cool for school, outcast, out-of-the-grid, loner type character he portrayed that I guess I related too in the 90's... The fact that he quoted my favorite author at the time. Plus, he has a mind for the buisness. Man, I'm getting my hopes up here, but a Raven would be an instant buy. |

I think the Jericho crowd is reaching because they want it to be Jericho. Jericho left WWE in July. This Exclusive was seemingly planned around October. Jericho isn't under contract, as he's not like The Rock or Undertaker where he's essentially under a legends deal with seemingly giant payouts whenever he gets in the ring. He's like RVD, where he works for a stretch, it allows merchandise to be made, and then all that ends when his contract expires. That's just the way I understand that whole deal judging by what Mattel has explained to us about Brock and RVD in the past. Jericho is really the only name left floating around that I would buy honestly. I would love a man of 1004 holds Jericho, or especially a Mania XIX Jericho, but I'm not seeing it. The Rock and Undertaker both seem far more likely to me. I hope it's someone from WCW honestly, but it's likely to be some form of "repaint" and it's likely to be a top caliber talent. I've definitely lowered my expectations after the last hint. Having Flair and Edge, and even Austin, knocked out really took it down a level, and that was after already taking it down a level from the no members of the NWO clue. We're still having fun though. Everyone just relax. It's fun to guess and speculate and it has given us something to talk about for almost 100 pages, and it hasn't even been announced yet. Who cares if the actual exclusive is a let down, I've enjoyed the ride so far. Hey, it could still be my most wanted Mattel of all time, Raven. So keep hope alive haha  basic 38 Jericho just hit retail. So they can definitely use him, contract wise. The only reason i haven't gone all in with picking Jericho.....is the fact that RSC said they wouldn't do him as an exclusive and Mattel saying they can't do WCW belts. Idk why ppl are mad at the hints. I like it. I'm genuinely interested now that its obviously not RVD, Edge or Dude Love. I was certain it would be one of them. So it will actually be more of a surprise then i thought it would be. Anyone who actually thought it was Hulk Hogan, Flair or Razor Ramon, its their own fault for getting their hopes up. Every RSC fig has been some kind of repaint. Its a no-brainer. Mattel loves $$$$. You don't make as much $$$$$........when you give a small online shop the first crack at ur hugely popular newly contracted wrestlers. You make money at retail. Ric Flair, Hogan and Razor make you money....by being on Walmart, TRU, Kmart, Target pegs during the holiday. Not sitting in a tiny warehouse in Long Island. |

^Basic 38 would have been planned right around the time he left. We are right around that 8-9 month mark and B38 is showing up at retail. I'm guessing this exclusive was planned in the fall, but I'm just guessing.

Meh, to each their own and you're probably more picky about it than I am. The only thing I didn't like about the E23 Taker was the coat, as the cloth coat was so much more appropriate but I understand from a cost perspective. I think that Taker is one of the best figures Mattel has done to-date. |
