Such a shame but it makes me feel better seeing him smiling in both pics. Makes me feel like he's enjoying his life while he can and I can only hope I have the same opportunity.

Best on commentary ever. I've said it before, I'll say it again, dream commentary team: Bobby Heenan and CM Punk.

Hope he gets better. What kind of cancer does he have?

What a shame. Nice to see him out and about though. I was a huge fan of The Brain - him and Gorilla are my favourite announce team of all time.

I was just watching WM 20 the other day when he got inducted into the HOF and was wondering if he'd improved since last time we saw him. Poor guy.

Guy must have been such a good heel that he worked God into thinking he really was a bad guy.

I was just watching WM 20 the other day when he got inducted into the HOF and was wondering if he'd improved since last time we saw him. Poor guy. Probably the best Hall of Fame acceptance speech ever. Tons of laughs, and then it ends in a touching way when he talks about how he wished Monsoon was there. It still seems, even with all he's gone through, he's in high spirits, especially when he gets to be around the fans. And sometimes that positive attitude plays a big part in a person being able to get through it.

When you look up the words Legend and Icon when it comes to wrestling managers, the top of the list will always have Bobby Heenan above all.

It bothers me big time to see him like that. Now I need to go watch RR 92' for his golden commentary.

Yeah ever since his jaw was removed he has been aging at the speed of light such a sad sight as he isn't even recognizable anymore. easily one of the best commentators of all time. He is always the highlight whenever I go back and watch old stuff.

I love Bobby so much and I was able to tell him that when I met him. That was when his first book came out so he was able to talk with me. I called him "Brain" but then corrected myself and called him Mr. Heenan. He told me to call him "Brain". I have a picture of me and him both pointing to our brains. I wish I could find it.
I thought the picture was going to look worse that it does. He looks pretty good considering. It's great to see his wife Cindy sitting there with him. She had her own cancer scare as well and I'm very happy she is still with him. Obviously Bobby is doing really well that he can go out to these conventions and whatnot. I have that "Shawshank Redemption" line going through my head. I hope to meet him one more time and shake his hand.
Bobby and Gorilla are the main reason I stuck with wrestling in the 90s when it was getting too unbearable. Watching "Prime Time Wrestling" every Monday night was something I did every Monday night. I video taped nearly them all, I would never record the matches, I just recorded Gorilla and Bobby. LOL

Strong man thats for sure.
I appreciate all he has done.
It's sad that we can barely even recognize him. One thing is for sure, we wont forget him.

He is my favorite manager and favorite announcer of all time. His work in WCW wasn't great, but in the WWF he was awesome.
It always makes me sad to see him these days, but he is rocking an amazing mustache! I wish him all the best for providing me years of entertainment and enjoyment.

I met Bobby this weekend also. He was in great spirits joking around poking women in the ass with his cane and "Other Areas". He was trying to talk a bit and laughed quite a bit and from what i could tell having a great time.

Breaks my heart to know that man has suffered. Because he deserved nothing but the best in life.

It breaks my heart to see one of my favorite wrestling personalities in this condition. He's got so much talent and could have contributed so much more if he were physically able to.
Can you imagine if he were still able to appear on "Old School Raw" or the WWE Network?
No commentator or manager has come even close to reaching his level..... the "Johnny Carson" of wrestling.

To be fair, he doesn't look any different than he has in the past three or so years, aside from the 'stache.
