I said the other day that the WWE never releases anybody anymore - they proved me wrong. But I did think he had parted ways months ago. Is this really a release if he's already gone working someplace else? To be completely fair they didn't actually fire him, his contract expired.

Well, that was a bust. I never thought he was THAT bad in the ring, but I'm really just surprised with how the character of Sin Cara never really took off with the audience.

WWE should kill the Sin Cara character altogether. It has become tainted.

The character was really over with the crowd when he first debut but once he returned from injury and the botching was just as bad the audience just stopped caring.

That's too bad. If all the pieces came together, I really think they could've had something special there. He obviously had the ability to make it work. Mistico just didn't want to do what it took to make that happen. Mistico is clearly the better luchador out of the two but that means nothing if you can't translate that over where it matters.
I still think they should've went with Del Sol as the new Sin Cara.

I always liked & defended him till the finger injury. I'm sorry but you need to fight through things like that. After that I agreed he was a bust. That's too bad. They were desperate for the next latino face that they rushed him to the main roster. If guys like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn Chris Hero, and Cesaro. Who have traveled the world had to spend time in developmental there is no reason he should have had to skip it.

He has a mouth and a brain and he knew that there were ways to improve the Sin Cara situation, i.e. learning English to call your matches.

Hunico is a much better Sin Cara anyway.

My sources tell me Sin Cara actually hit the door on his way out, not the other way around, and re-injured his finger/shoulder/knee/pride. lmao anyway I won't miss him
