I know this may sound dumb, but it's nearly 2:30 and I'm bored, lol. Also, I don't think this is off topic since it's discussing customixing.
Anyway...what's the worst injury you have sustained while making a custom? For me it would be last year when I was trying to get the ball joint out of a SummerSlam JBL head since I was modifying a TTL head or something. I was holding the head with my left hand (I'm a righty) and trying to cut a slit down the back of his head with a hobby knife so I could get the ball out easier. However, I applied too much force at once, the knife slipped out and gashed right into my left index finger across the top knuckle near the tip of the finger. Made a 3/4" gash and was rather deep...I freaked a little upon realizing what I did and ran to the bathroom to wash off all the blood and put pressure on it. Was a tad odd to see bloddy fatty tissue sticking out of the open wound.
Long story short, a night in the ER and 6 stitches to close it up (took 4 shots of local anesthetic to numb my finger, I must have a high threshold) Almost a week and a half later, stitches were out and it took a couple months to get the dexterity in it back, and it's still only 95% at best. Oh well.
Other than that, I've countless times cut myself (superficially) poked my fingers, super-glued fingers together, burned myself with hot glue, nearly got super glue squirted in my eye (boy, was that scary) I am an accident-prone klutz, which is why I should maybe stop customizing.... just kidding. ;D

I have nearly cut off my fingers once with a Jigsaw, didn't actually hurt them but i just seen at the last minute that i was way too close, phew, could of been very very painful if i had.

I was trying to split a torso with a utility knife. I was holding the figure with my left hand and cutting down the seam with my right hand. My hand slipped, the knife stabbed me in the left hand and made a 1 1/2 inch gash between the first and second joint of my thumb. It bled for a long time. I probably should have gone and gotten stitches, but.... It scared over real nicely.
This is what happens when you've been awake for over 24 hours....

i was trying to split a torso with a screwdriver when i slipped and gave myself a pretty nasty stab, that was pretty sore

i did that like 2 nights ago i accidently broke the peg on young andre so half of peg was in the neck so with hobby knife i was trying to cut the shoulder so i could pry it oppen i sliped jabed the knife in my left index finger from the side of finger nail to the other side didnt freak out but i went to the bathroom wased it with cold water bleeding real bad pushed it together put toilet paper around it than put duck tape around it than i guess that was it
now im typeing with my right index and my left middle finger this feels odd

I've superglued my fingers together, Stabbed myself trying to get a torso apart, cut my finger using an exacto knife, and burned myself with boiling water but I think that is it. Nothing too serious though.

We are like the Mick Foleys of customizing....lol.
Also, I haven't stopped posting customs, I just need to make some improvements on a few before I post them. Expect plenty to come, if you like any of my work.

i was using a screw driver and i cut a hole half way through my thumb and when i was 9? i broke a fig so i was mad i hit it with the bac end of a sludge hammer and it bounced and hit me in the face i was out for a good min or so

I have stabbed myself plenty of times with knives and screwdrivers but nothing too terribly serious.

I have heard one guy was cutting the torso of a Beniot figure off and accidently cut from the knuckle of his thumb up off.
I have gotten my skin of my finger stuck in the legs of figures like Big Show (ripping little bits of skin off), almost stabbed myself in the palm (scared the crap out of me) and most lately, was trying to get a jacket off a figure and had to use my teeth (DO NOT SUGGEST) and broke off 3 brackets on my braces.

im only 12 and i've gotten a hook broke over my head 2 times in same spot (bled pretty bad), got hit in the head with a 2X4, tripped into a fence and almost went through it (in my by, and tripped over a bike), gotten ran over by a bike going 25 mph, a ladder fell on me, ive gotten hit in the head with a flashlight, fell down stairs, fell down stairs then put a hole in my wall with my head at the same time, and stabbed myself in the hand about 4 times......... yeah ive had alot of head injuries and ive never broken any bones, gotten chicken pox, never been to the hospital, and never got stung by a bee...... cool, huh?
