Red Sox Rays Yankees Orioles Jays Tigers Royals Indians White Sox Twins Rangers A's Angels Mariners Astros Natinals Braves Mets Marlins Phillies Cardinals Pirates Brewers Reds Cubs Dodgers Rockies Giants Padres Dbacks WC: Rays and Royals, Pirates and Braves World Series from the heart: Red Sox vs Dodgers, Red Sox repeat World Series from the head: Tigers vs Nationals, Nationals win MVP: Trout and Goldschmit ROY: Xander and Taveras (can see Tanaka here too, maybe Hamilton if he can get to first base) MOY: Ron Washington and Matt Williams CY: Yu Darvish and Jose Fernandez (might go Kershaw again if the Marlins blow balls again) AL East is interesting, I think any of the 4 teams (Not the Jays, they suck) can win/make the playoffs. The Rays worry me because of hitting even though Wil Myers is the mother ing truth, but what about Price? Will Moore, Cobb and Archer take that huge step? Will they trade Price? Ive made my issues with the Yankees known, so no need to go into that. Same with the Red Sox. Orioles are iffy, Nick Markakis is key to that team. Braves pitching woes worry me, same with the Rangers. Even tho Prince Fielder is gonna be a mother er in that park. Xander Boagerts is the truth by the way guys

You really see the Nats winning the World Series? Hey, I'm not arguing, they are a solid team. I just worry if they can get passed the Dodgers and Cards, the latter of whom are gonna be hungry after a rather disappointing end to last season.

Natinals wont disappoint again this year. They might not win the World Series, but they wont disappoint.
Better pitching, better hitting this year. If Rendon is healthy he's a superstar

If Sizemore is healthy and good by July, Ben Cherington should just go to Cooperstown right away.
0% chance that happens tho

I think the Nats will definitely improve over last year. They had too much pressure and such high expectations that they came out and fell completely flat.

Here's to another season, gentlemen. I look forward to the stupid arguments, rants, and meltdowns.

I, along with Lozo, will be involved in all three tomorrow when the Pirates and Yankees lose and we act like the season is over. Just a fair warning.

AL EAST: New York Yankees Baltimore Orioles AL CENTRAL: Detroit Tigers AL WEST: Oakland Athletics AL WILD CARD 1: Boston Red Sox Los Angeles Angels AL WILD CARD 2: Kansas City Royals
NL EAST: Washington Nationals NL CENTRAL: St. Louis Cardinals NL WEST: Los Angeles Dodgers NL WILD CARD 1: San Francisco Giants Milwaukee Brewers NL WILD CARD 2: Atlanta Braves San Francisco Giants
AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera [DET] Mike Trout [LAA] NL MVP: Yadier Molina [STL] Giancarlo Stanton [MIA] AL ROTY: Masahiro Tanaka [NYY] Jose Abreu [CHW] NL ROTY: Kolten Wong [STL] AL Cy Young: James Shields [KC] Felix Hernandez [SEA] NL Cy Young: Clayton Kershaw [LAD] AL MOTY: Ned Yost [KC] NL MOTY: Mike Matheny [STL] Ron Roenicke [MIL] AL CPOTY: Albert Pujols [LAA] NL CPOTY: Johnny Cueto [CIN]
I want the Yankees to win the World Series as a fan and I think we have a chance... But, as a true prediction I will go with the Detroit Tigers over the St. Louis Cardinals. Oakland Athletics over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Fixed what I think will happen now. Not that I was that far off at first... totally not.

As long as the Astros don't suck as bad as they have then I'll count that as a victory.

WALK OFF BOMB FROM THE REAL DEAL WALKER, NEIL.
Glad the hometown boy got the jack to win the game here on Opening Day. Good stuff from Liriano.

Wait, another Pirates fan in here? I just assumed I was the rare, elusive Pirates fan. XD Yup. so much so back in '93 we went to Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates play on the second week of our honeymoon. Then would go there every year for our anniversary until our daughter was 3 in 2000. Then it became Disney World. lol The year they shut down Three Rivers I heard that Friday night that Van Slyke would be there the next day. So as soon as I got home from work that night we packed a suitcase and drove the 7 hours from NJ to Pittsburgh for that Saturday game and meet Andy. Luckily we found a hotel because the Holiday Inn on McNight we usually stayed at was filled. We ended up staying at a best western on the other side of the rivers. And back in 90 or 91 the Pirates needed to beat the Expos or Mets in their last series to make the playoffs. So my future wife, brother in law and myself drove all night to get there...watched the game...then drove all night back home where I barely made it to work. lol
