Someday a generation will be forced to act as the collective mind of humanity & ponder the viral question.....
Perhaps one soul shall be stuck with the strain of all sentient life in our universe upon their shoulders, yet possess not so much as a clue to the height the load reaches.
Only aware of the fire barreling through his every muscle as he claws for stability under the universal barbell loaded with plates forming the letters forming the very question of humanity itself.
What was it all for?
Imagine being that person.
Discuss.

No offense dude... But your threads are really annoying. I don't know if you're trying to showcase some kind of intellectual prowess, or if you're just trying to solidify a position as the articulate forum hipster. But either way you're not a scholar. This is a figure forum for 's sake. How many intellectually-stimulating minds do you think linger here? Let alone ones willing to respond to your posts and actually give you the kind of ceremonious fodder you're so desperately craving? After the mental rape my brain takes from some of the stupidity I sometimes find on WF, you would think I would rejoice at the sight of a prompt that requires a reading level above 6th grade. But when it's overdone simply for the SAKE OF philosophical douchebaggery, I find myself running back to threads about "pancake batter" and "neeeew pickups!"

I read a lot of high level things, but I straight up have no idea what this means.

To be fair, you don't have to read his posts. But I tried answering the last question. The one about society blaming romance novels because everyone wants to pretend they're better than them.
But this one I'm not going to try. This one's for someone else.

I read a lot of high level things, but I straight up have no idea what this means. Someday, there might be one last person to wonder about life's meaning before being the last person to ever find out after all conscious life ends with this one person, potentially millions of years from now. You have the last chance to try & figure out what life was about before sentient life ends forever. Wouldn't feel a bit of preassure?

The meaning of life is to be born, to reproduce, and to die. We already figured that out.
What will the last person think of now? Butter lube maybe?

So basically what would you do if you were the last person on Earth? Bigger than that. The last sentient, self aware, conscious life form in all of existence. In all of the potential multiverses. Somehow you will have the last thoughts in this reality. What will you do or try to settle once & for all before you die? No need for the CM Punk by the way. He burned me about as well as a hand warmer.

So if Issac Newton died a virgin or failed to have children(Hypothetically) he failed to give his life meaning even though he single handed change the course of history?

Plus even if you did figure something out who would you share it with? So there is no reason to bother. Just live the rest of your short time as best as you can.

No. Relationships give life meaning. The effect you have on the few people you know in this world while you're alive. Because most of us are not Newton, and won't be remembered for changing history.

I think in the grand scheme of life he did. To me, the meaning of life is to be born, reproduce for the future, and die. What you do in between the chapters of the book is irrelevant to the grand scheme of life. I think if you fail to reproduce or commit murder or abortion, you fail to do you part in continuing life on the earth, which to me is the meaning and the grand scheme of life. He made a lot of history, but in the end he failed to do his part. That's just my opinion though.

If I met you in real life, & you called me a "Hipster," I'd fight you like Hemmingway wished he could tussle. Hipsters are elitists morons who mentally masturbate to being "In the know" as though that creates a position of superiority. Our generation's obsession with originality has reduced them to mere carbon copies of a caricature of a person with substance. If you don't like poetry, that's none of my business. However, there's nothing impressive about someone mentioning an idea that has most likely been contemplated on countless occasions. I don't see what the Hell fodder has to do with this, but no thanks. I have a bag of Ranch Chips, so I'm good.

This is wildly amusing.
