2nd thread today. The cats out of the bag Matty… why so secretive with this? Inevitability, it was bound to be seen sooner rather than later. Time to put a couple employees under the scope and bruise some asses!

Unless it's a special promotional figure, it looks too dodgy to be anything but a custom. I mean, if he came with a belt, why wouldn't he be packaged holding/wearing it?
Edit:Okay, it's probably real. Shame on them if they were lying about it...unless a more detailed, finished version is coming out soon of course.

what if it's a proto for the upcoming RSC exclusive? all the clue said is that the colors - purple and yellow - have some meaning to the figure, not that it will be attired with those colors... just speculating here...

I would be very disappointed if they didn't release that black robe flair at retail. Looks great already, so good

It seems they are using the Macho Man torso.

And for the record, there is no defining moment explained on packaging. Point of defining moment line was to showcase a specific DEFINING moment in career. Back reads like a brief overview of flair, and it looks custom, and robe is crapty. C mon, clearly a custom job outside of maybe the head being a stolen sculpt of an upcoming flair.

the only thing i want to know, is why he looks 100 years old.

Do we need anymore proof that 2015 will be without a shadow of a doubt mattels best year of releases? Hogan, Flair, Xpac, Razor, Sting?
Bill you are the man!

It looks like the figure is supposed to be Rumble 92 Flair, but the back makes it seem like it's for WM 24 Flair.

THIS! the closest it comes to explaining a "defining moment" is WM24. flairs robe was black AND blue for that match, plus he didn't have a belt, plus his hair didn't look like that. obvious fake.

How can you get banned for talking about the figure? Unless of course RSC own the rights to the figure, should it be, I don't know, an RSC exclusive for instance Everyone should take 10 minutes to read the WF Terms of service agreement and it will clear up some of the ambiguity about why some things aren't allowed: www.wrestlingfigs.com/spamorumstos.html"You may ask "What about freedom of speech? Can't I post anything I want?" Well the answer is no. When you signed up for the Wrestlingfigs.com message message forums, you voluntarily agreed to follow the rules here. "Freedom of speech" applies only to the federal government, not private businesses, and in any case, you willingly relinquished some of those rights to have an account here. If you do not feel that you can follow the rules here, you are more than welcome to create your own message board on a server that you pay for, and subsequently enforce your own set of rules." Thems be the rules, love'em or leave'em.

The question is... Do we see a relaunch of the Defining Moments?
On MattelElite4Life said it's confirmed from a source. Whenever I read that on Instagram/Facebook/Messageboards I think BS. But let's see if he pans out with his source. I hope it's the truth.

If it is real, then it's well below Mattel standards. Terrible robe, and not even remotely appropriate to the only "Defining Moment" mentioned on the "box." The headsculpt looks good but isn't even anywhere near WrestleMania 24, either.
At best, it's a real Mattel prototype Flair in a bad custom robe and box.

The whole sum of everything about this reads like 90% custom, 10% legit to me. The head being the only thing that seems like it truly could have Mattels finger prints on it. Again, if so, that gives us plenty to look forward to as i seriously doubt its the old Entrance Greats head. But the majority of it seems like a custom trying to pass for a 1,000.00 prototype. The whole 1/15 thing just seems like a tag thrown on there to increase its authenticity. And others have pointed out packaging flaws that woud lead me to suspect its not quite what it claims to be. But i still hope that head makes its way to a proper mattel release sooner rather than later.
