The nWo. Watching my idol become a villian was heart breaking.... But, i hated him so much that I started to like Hogan even more than his WWF days... About 6 months i to the nWo I became a fan 4-life. There are so many great names in the group. Which gave us some epic feuds. Hogan-Giant, Macho Man - DDP, Hogan-Goldberg, Nash-Goldberg, Nash-Giant, Hogan-Sting, Hogan-Flair... We got a rebirth of Scott Steiner. It was a fun time to be a wrestling fan.
My second choice would be DX. Who didn't go to school chooping their mid section and yelling "Suck It"! I listened to that song on the WWF CD daily. Aswell as the Brood/Gangrel song.

Back in 1996 the nWo was what made me a full fledged wrestling fan, and the nWo changed the business for the better. I don't even have to think twice about this...nWo 4 Life!

This has to be a WWF/E only poll because the Original Four Horsemen, The Fabulous Freebirds, Devastation Incorporated so on and so forth aren't on it.
Plus if this is a WWF/E only poll the lack of The Heenan Family is disturbing. Wrestling has been around a LOT longer then 1998 which this seems to begin at. I shall need to pass then.

I remember the NWO and DX from 1998. Like I have earliest memories of my life were watching these guys. I believe the first words out of my mouth were suck it and new world order... Haha but I like the shield they are more effective as a unit and aren't trying to be cool ya know?
Shield > DX & nWo
I just find then more entertaining from a pro wrestling aspect

WWE only - Hart Foundation
All promotions - Four Horsemen (nWo would be a close second if they hadn't ended up with several dozen members, the whole nWo Wolfpack vs nWo black and white, and all the other fail attempts to recapture that '96-'97 magic including their brief WWE return)
