WWE NXT: October 16th, 2014 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
The WWE Signature flashes across the screen and the intro video plays, signaling the start of another week of NXT. Alex Riley, Rich Brennan and the lovely Renee Young are on commentary tonight and welcome the viewers at home to the rowdy Full Sail University. They promise a great show, headlined by NXT Champion Corey Graves taking on one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens! KALISTO AND SIN CARA VS. JUSTIN GABRIEL AND TYSON KIDD W/ NATALYA; In an effort to irritate Tyson Kidd, the fans chant “Nattie’s husband” at him. It works, causing Sin Cara and Kalisto to take it to him. The masked duo is teaming up for the first time, but show off some impressive chemistry. Justin Gabriel gets in a cheap shot to the back of Sin Cara and it turns the tables for his team. He hits Sin Cara with the 450 splash and knocks Kalisto off the apron while Kidd puts Cara in the Sharpshooter. He taps out. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd defeat Kalisto and Sin Cara in 4:18!Tyson Kidd’s music plays as he and Justin Gabriel celebrate the win. Natalya enters the ring but mostly gets ignored. Tyson eventually hugs her, but it’s a quick one. Kidd and Gabriel seem much more into themselves than anything else.
“Sky’s the Limit” plays and the crowd gives a mixed reaction as the brand new NXT Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks steps through the curtain. She has the title around her waist for the first time at Full Sail University. Sasha enters the ring, is handed a microphone and tells the fans to be quiet. She holds up the title and simply says “Told you so.” Sasha continues to discuss the fact that nobody believed she would make it to the top, but here she stands with the title. “I heard the shouts and even the whispers. People said Summer Rae was the leader of the BFFs. They saw Charlotte and her legacy in this business and pegged her as the standout from the BFFs. And honestly, when she won the NXT Women’s Title at TakeOver and then beat me at R-Evolution, a small part of me wondered if that was true. I just needed one more chance to show that I am the baddest female in NXT and I got it. At Divas Smackdown, in front of the largest audience to ever witness an NXT Women’s Title match, I beat Charlotte. Not once, but twice. I’ve known it all along, but this belt makes it official. I am the best female to ever step foot in a WWE ring.” Sasha’s boasts are interrupted by the former champion, Charlotte. The daughter of Ric Flair walks down to the ring, clapping. When she gets in front of Sasha, she speaks, congratulating her on the win. “I have no excuses for Divas Smackdown. You beat me, fair and square. But I’m out here for my rematch.” The crowd cheers and chants “one more time”. Sasha declines, stating that she’s not prepared and doesn’t have her ring gear. The music of William Regal hits as he steps out onto the stage. “I actually think you not having your gear tonight is a good thing. Now, I can promote the match. Next week, right here on NXT, Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship!” The crowd cheers and Charlotte smiles at the news. Sasha looks a bit worried.
We now go to a wwe.com video from just after last week’s tag team victory by Hideo Itami and Finn Balor. Out interviewers caught up with them to discuss the attack by Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Both guys are licking their wounds and Finn Balor handles most of the promo. He says that it’s clear the issue between the four of them is unsettled. “Someday soon, we will get our revenge on ‘Nattie’s husband’ and his friend. And when we do, there’s gonna be hell to pay.” Itami closes things out, only saying something about intending to “kick, kick, kick” Kidd and Gabriel.
A commercial airs to hype Hell in a Cell. For the first time in over three years, we will see three Hell in a Cell matches. The WWE Intercontinental, Women’s and Tag Team Championships will all be defended inside the structure for the first time in history, plus more from the Survival Trials! MASON RYAN VS. STEVE CUTLER; As is the case with pretty much every Mason Ryan match since his return to NXT, he makes quick work of his opponent. Steve Cutler never had a chance and Ryan beat him with a backbreaker rack. Mason Ryan defeats Steve Cutler in 0:33!The NXT Universe gives a round of applause to Mason Ryan as he continues to impress, week in and week out. You have to wonder if someone will be able to even be considered competition for him at some point.
A video package airs of various WWE Superstars and Divas talking about breast cancer and the dangers that come with it. The WWE has once again partnered up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the month of October.
A recap airs of Bayley’s victory last week over Summer Rae. After her win, she declared she was coming after the NXT Women’s Championship. Becky Lynch, not to be outdone, was interviewed later on and made the same declaration. ALEXA BLISS VS. BECKY LYNCH; Although she hasn’t staked her claim for the NXT Women’s Championship just yet, NXT’s resident fairy princess is not one to be overlooked. She reels off some impressively acrobatic moves including a backflip knee drop. She goes up top for what Alex Riley calls the Sparkle Splash, but Becky Lynch moves out of the way. She focuses on the arm throughout the match and it really pays off in the end. Becky locks Alexa in the Disarm-Her, forcing Alexa to tap out. Becky Lynch defeats Alexa Bliss in 3:40!Becky Lynch stands up to a roar from the crowd. She has done a good job of getting the NXT Universe to rally behind her. While she celebrates, the cameras cut backstage to see Bayley watching on a monitor. She seems impressed with Becky’s performance.
A commercial is shown for the latest WWE film, See No Evil 2. Kane returns as Jacob Goodnight! The commercial ends up getting intercut by NXT’s resident hacker, Solomon Crowe. He speaks to the camera, saying that there’s a reason he hasn’t been around. “I’m biding my time. I see that Evan Bourne has picked up a few wins lately but don’t any of you forget that I beat him at TakeOver. I told you all that I am the future of NXT. Not Evan Bourne, not Tyler Breeze, not Kalisto, not Sami Zayn, not Finn Balor and not even the current champion, Corey Graves. When I want to make an impact, I’ll do it and just like this message, not a single person can stop me.” BRODUS CLAY, CURT HAWKINS AND SUMMER RAE VS. COLIN CASSADY, ENZO AMORE AND CARMELLA; The trio that has had some time on the main roster cut an insert promo discussing the fact that they are tired of the new people showing up in the WWE and NXT and thinking they run this place. Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore and Carmella have quickly developed some great chemistry and play off of each other very well. In the end, Big Cass rocker launches Enzo onto Curt Hawkins for the 1-2-3. Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore and Carmella defeat Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins and Summer Rae in 3:21!The trio from Queens and Staten Island have their hands raised in victory. Brodus Clay and Summer Rae look on in disappointment. Enzo Amore makes a motion around his waist, signaling that he and Cass may be looking for another shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Rich Brennan now walks us through a recap of the wild week of Survival Trials action. One week after Roman Reigns bested John Cena in a classic match to take sole possession of first place, Cody Rhodes became the man of the hour. He beat Dean Ambrose on Smackdown before doing the unthinkable and ending Reigns’ unbeaten streak to take over first place. BARON CORBIN VS. JOSH WOODS; If you thought that Mason Ryan won in impressive fashion earlier, this was on an even higher level. Baron Corbin caught a charging Josh Woods in the End of Days and won like it was nothing. Baron Corbin defeats Josh Woods in 0:19!“Oh my goodness, that was incredible” says Alex Riley. Baron Corbin doesn’t even wait to have his hand raised by the referee. He just exits the ring and leaves on his own, not looking back at the ring or fans at all.
Devin Taylor is now standing by backstage with Tyler Breeze. She asks him about his loss to Evan Bourne last week, which clearly irritates him. “Why would you even ask such dumb questions? How are you even employed? Look, obviously last week’s loss was a fluke. Evan Bourne isn’t better than me in any conceivable way.” Breeze says that he can’t concentrate due to how many ugly people are around NXT these days. He needs to fix that problem before he can get to succeeding. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are shown in their locker room. Sami tells Kevin that he needs to be cautious out there against Corey Graves. “He made me submit a few months ago and is one of the toughest men I’ve ever faced in the ring.” Owens cuts him off, saying that he isn’t Sami. “I know what I’m doing out there. Corey Graves didn’t just call you out, he called me out too. Tonight, I’m going to show him and the rest of the world that I should be holding the NXT Championship along with these belts, I should be in the Survival Trials and I should be the top guy in NXT.” Owens heads off while Sami stares back at him a bit befuddled.
A commercial is shown hyping WWE 2K15. For the first time ever, you can play as your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas on current generation platforms! NON-TITLE MATCH: COREY GRAVES VS. KEVIN OWENS; Two of the heaviest hitters in NXT collide here. Corey Graves has taken out Kevin Owens’ partner, Sami Zayn, in the past. He makes reference to it while working Owens over. Kevin Owens is not one to be outshined though, fighting back with some great smack talk of his own in between shots. Owens looks for the popup powerbomb but Graves comes down punching him to avoid it. Graves applies the Lucky 13 submission, but Owens is quick to the ropes. Graves charges but Owens moves and runs at him with a big clothesline that sends both men over and to the outside. This fight continues, with both guys more focused on trading blows rather than getting back into the ring, resulting in a double countout. The match ends in a double countout at 8:29!Corey Graves and Kevin Owens continue to trade right hands on the outside while the bell continues to ring. Officials try to keep them apart but ultimately fail. Sami Zayn rushes down to the ring to get in between them and is more successful than the referees. Graves sees an opening and kicks Zayn in the back of the leg. Owens is held back by multiple officials as Graves grabs a chair and drives it into the knee of Zayn. Owens finally breaks through, but Graves exits through the crowd, pleased with his work.

Less than 12 nights away from Hell in a Cell
Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel as far as the 2 of them being a tag team here in NXT I mean I had my reservations about these 2 but seeing how well they mesh as a tag team I can't even argue anymore they are a great team I mean they certainly have proven it these past few matches and them beating Sin Cara & Kalisto at least puts them in the discussion as far as the NXT Tag Team Championships are concerned
Sasha Banks defending the NXT Women's Championship against Charlotte yet again, the rematch is going to happen and it is going to happen right here on NXT next week I mean if this match is anything like their match on WWE Divas Smackdown I know we will be in for a treat next week here on NXT
Finn Balor and Hideo Itami looking for revenge against Kidd and Gabriel I mean it is only a matter of time before these 4 men mix it up again in the ring
Mason Ryan with yet another squash match in less than 40 seconds I mean I wonder if he has even really been tested here in NXT? Or if he has even remotely been given proper competition? I mean he has been given easy match after easy match winning his matches in less than 30 seconds or over I mean I can see one superstar eventually stepping up and Mason getting into his first real feud here on NXT
Becky Lynch beating Alexa Bliss I mean she surely has made herself worthy of an NXT Women's Championship match I mean if she could beat Bliss especially after claiming that she was coming for the NXT Women's Championship proof that Becky should be taken seriously but then cue Bayley backstage watching I mean Bayley too wants that title but only one of them can be NXT Women's Champion so friendship will go out the window sooner rather than later
Solomon Crowe pretty much making a statement that he is after one thing and one thing only and that is becoming NXT Champion well I wonder when he plans on making his move?
Enzo & Big Cass and Carmella winning the Inter-Gender 6 Person Tag Team Match beating Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins and Summer Rae I mean Enzo & Big Cass and Carmella they just beat veterans that have actually been on the main roster not only that but worked really well together like a well oiled machine so much so that I would say Enzo & Big Cass have more or less put the NXT Tag Team Division on notice especially here with this win
Baron Corbin winning a squash match of his own but the difference being that he did it in less time than Mason Ryan did winning it in under 20 seconds beating his opponent dominating him I mean it is obvious all roads are heading towards Baron Corbin and Mason Ryan the 2 titans here on NXT colliding I mean it is almost inevitable at this point
As for Tyler Breeze I mean he has virtually done everything there is to do here in NXT really like what else is there for him to do? He may as well be called up to the main roster already
But as for Owens and Zayn the NXT Tag Team Champions I mean seeing Owens here I mean he is showing signs well more or less of becoming the Kevin Owens of today that we all know he is, self-centered self absorbed arrogant vulgar you name it I mean he more or less is jealous that his tag team partner Sami Zayn is in Survival Trials and he isn't but also that he should be NXT Champion too
But after the way Owens/Graves ended it is obvious at least to me anyway that these 2 will have a rematch however this time the NXT Championship will be on the line

10/17/14 Edition
- There has been a shift in popularity for the NXT brand in recent weeks. The live specials have been well received and the arrivals of well known guys like Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami have only boosted the views on the WWE Network. There are talks of bringing NXT on the road outside of Florida for the first time in 2015.
- The planned Hell in a Cell match between Paige and AJ Lee is scheduled to be their last meeting for a long time. Both girls are set to move into different things after. While the match is currently being booked to be one of the more violent women's matches in WWE history, it is not going to go overboard. Paige and AJ reportedly fought hard backstage for some leeway but weren't given everything they wanted.
- As noted by his great record in the Survival Trials so far, Cody Rhodes is set for a big push. The idea is for him to do well in this tournament and continue building him up for a pretty big singles match at WrestleMania 31. The WWE have their Mania plans set in stone, barring any major injuries, and believe six or seven of the matches could main event most PPVs.
- Since losing at SummerSlam to the Shield, we have not seen the Wyatt Family. As previously reported, they are off as part of the WWE's new scheduling plan to keep guys fresh. However, the entire stable is set to return within the coming weeks. The group is set for major things for the coming year. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are scheduled to be in the Tag Team Title picture, while Bray moves into the biggest program of his career.

With the NXT guys I can see them being called up to the main roster at least some of them but obviously them not all coming in at the same time but more one after the other
Well I can't wait to see this first time ever for the Divas especially in Hell in a Cell
Cody Rhodes being in line for a huge push well I guess I can't be surprised even though when I see Cody I don't see an A+ player I don't see main event caliber guy as far as Cody Rhodes goes because to me he screams midcarder not main event because he is not in the same league as guys like Triple H, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Batista, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, etc.
But as for The Wyatt Family with Wyatt, Harper and Rowan since there are big plans for these guys I wonder if you bring up Braun Strowman to join The Wyatt Family?

Friday Night Smackdown: October 17th, 2014 – Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama
We start things this week with a video package showcasing the events from Raw involving the Authority, Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. The team of Batista, Randy Orton and Sheamus picked up the win, but didn’t stop there. They also beat down their opponents and Batista ran through Ziggler with a vicious spear. Michael Cole, Tom Phillips and JBL introduce the show but are quickly cut off by the arrival of one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions.
“I Walk Alone” plays and Batista steps through the curtain to loud boos. He seems to bask in them as he walks down to the ring, in street clothes with the WWE Tag Team Title draped over his shoulder. Batista grabs a microphone and begins to talk about Hell in a Cell. He says that at first, he didn’t want to compete inside the Cell. “Calm down idiots, it’s not because I don’t like violence. Remember this, I’m not only a WWE Superstar. I am a movie star. Guardians of the Galaxy is shattering records everywhere. If something were to happen to this face, it could hurt my other career. Then I really got to thinking about it and I realized that I have nothing to worry because Randy Orton and I are going to demolish CM Punk and Daniel Bryan inside the Hell in a Cell.” Batista then starts to describe the things they plan on doing to their challengers and just as it gets gruesome, Dolph Ziggler’s theme hits and he walks out onto the stage to a pop. Dolph tells Batista that everybody just wants him to shut up. “You come out here and talk about Hell in the Cell but there’s something more pressing right now. It’s bad enough that you and your little buddies won on Monday but then you went and speared me afterwards. I am not someone to just sit back and take that, so I’m out here to challenge you to a match tonight!” The fans cheer but Batista surprisingly laughs. According to him, Ziggler is not a threat. “I accept your little challenge so that Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and all of these people can see what happens when you piss me off.” Batista drops the microphone and holds his title high while Dolph Ziggler stares a hole through him. We’ve got a main event set! SURVIVAL TRIALS – CHRIS JERICHO (2) VS. THE MIZ (2); Both of these men have struggled so far, deadlocked for last place in the tournament so far. This past Monday though, Chris Jericho goaded Bad News Barrett into putting his coveted Money in the Bank briefcase on the line in their Survival Trials match at Hell in a Cell. Desperate to gain momentum heading into that, Jericho seems like a different person throughout this contest. He is especially aggressive at times, throwing the Miz off of his own game. Jericho trips up a frustrated Miz and locks him in the Walls of Jericho, making him tap out. Chris Jericho defeats the Miz in 6:07!A much needed win for Chris Jericho and it shows by his celebration. Jericho seems extra motivated with the possibility that he could become the new Money in the Bank holder after Hell in a Cell. Speaking of Mr. Money in the Bank, the music of Bad News Barrett hits. For the first time in months, he rises from near the stage on his podium and has his gavel. “Chris Jericho, you have just earned yourself two points, moved out of last place and picked up a victory…BUT I’M AFRAID I’VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS! I also won my match on Main Event and have even more momentum than you do heading into Hell in a Cell, where you will ultimately lose to me. That loss will cripple your confidence, sending you down a hole of consecutive losses in the Survival Trials, ending with you going back to your mediocre rock and roll career.” Barrett lets out a hearty laugh, bangs his gavel and the podium lowers while Jericho looks on, furious. BRIE BELLA W/ NIKKI BELLA VS. EMMA; The Bella Twins have certainly had an up and down year so far in 2014. They have beaten legendary Divas like Victoria and Molly Holly, but have also earned multiple Women’s Title shots. Unfortunately, they have been unsuccessful in dethroning Paige. Emma is Paige’s best friend, and recently spoke out about getting more opportunities, while also taking more of a serious approach. She looks the part here, picking up the win after making Brie submit to the Emma Lock. Emma defeats Brie Bella in 3:38!Emma quickly rolls out of the ring as Nikki Bella enters and doesn’t look happy. Emma cut back on the dancing and antics tonight and was able to score one of the bigger wins of her career so far. The Bellas look on in disgust at Emma reaches the top of the ramp. AJ Lee rushes out behind her and throws her off the stage and onto the floor below! “Oh my god! What the hell did AJ do that for?” asks Michael Cole. AJ Lee looks down at Emma’s fallen body with a crazed look in her eyes. Officials show up to check up on her and seem to be calling for EMTs. The WWE Women’s Champion, and Emma’s best friend, Paige makes her way out to check on her friend, brushing right past AJ. After Paige talks to the EMT for a moment, she stands up and points at AJ. The crowd comes alive as Paige climbs up and gets in AJ’s face, demanding to know why this happened. “What the hell is your problem? Your issue is with me, not Emma!” AJ just stares at her for a few moment, breaks into a wicked smile, and then skips away and to the back, leaving Paige flabbergasted. The medics continue to try and carry Emma out of the arena.
Returning, we see Paige storming around backstage looking for AJ Lee. She’s shouting through the halls in search of her opponent at Hell in a Cell. She is stopped by Triple H, who tries to calm her down. She wants to hear none of it, citing that AJ Lee can’t get away with what she just did. Triple H is the voice of reason for the woman he gave an opportunity to in NXT, telling her that AJ shouldn’t be her concern right now. “You need to be with Emma. She is being taken to the hospital and your best friend needs you. You will get your crack at AJ at Hell in a Cell. Hell, you’ll be locked in with her and you won’t need to find her. Get your head right and see your friend for now.” Paige seems to calm down a bit and walks off.
Tom Phillips, in a tone fitting the mood after AJ Lee’s actions, leads us into a recap of the Survival Trials this week. Bad News Barrett beat Sami Zayn on Main Event to pick up two points and Chris Jericho gained his third and fourth points earlier tonight. On Raw, John Cena rebounded by beating Dean Ambrose, while Alberto Del Rio continued his winning ways against Seth Rollins. In the biggest news of the tournament so far though, Cody Rhodes did the unthinkable and handed Roman Reigns his first loss to take over first place! Renee Young is standing by with the man of the hour, Cody Rhodes. She congratulates him on beating Roman Reigns and asks for his thoughts regarding the rest of the tournament. Cody thanks her but says the job is far from done. “Beating Roman Reigns is just one thing. There are still five matches left including the one at Hell in a Cell with John Cena. I’m not trying to be boastful but when I call myself the ‘Prince of Pro Wrestling’, it isn’t just some moniker. I was born with this business in my blood and something like the Survival Trials is what I’ve waited for my entire career. I don’t need to worry about waiting for an opportunity; I can just take it.” SURVIVAL TRIALS – ADRIAN NEVILLE (4) VS. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SHEAMUS (4); Our first hour main event brings us the final Survival Trials match of the evening. Despite being on the winning side of a six man tag on Monday, Sheamus may still have Dolph Ziggler and Hell in a Cell on his mind because Adrian Neville has a clear upper hand from the start. He uses his quickness to outmaneuver the Intercontinental Champion but once Sheamus catches him, the tide begins to turn. Sheamus signals for the Brogue Kick, but Neville ducks it, runs up the ropes and leaps off with a huge moonsault. He bridges it, holding Sheamus’ legs and the referee counts three. Adrian Neville defeats Sheamus in 12:47!Just like the 1-2-3 Kid infamously did to Razor Ramon back in 1993, Adrian Neville has upset the “Celtic Warrior”. Sheamus is livid as Neville slides out of the ring and throws his hands in the air. The Intercontinental Champion is nearly pulling his hair out over this and screams, but Neville continues to celebrate on the ramp.
The fans come to their feet for the arrival of the Shield. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns make their way down to the ring through the stands and seem to be here to address the WWE Universe. Ambrose gets on the microphone first, saying that he’s getting a little sick and tired of what’s been happening during the Survival Trials. “I started this damn thing 2-0 but what the hell happened? Suddenly, I can’t buy a win and I’M SICK AND DAMN TIRED OF IT!” Seth interjects, calming Dean down and telling him not to overreact. “There is still a lot of time left to turn things around. The real focus of us coming out here tonight is the rumors. You all know what rumors I’m talking about. The ones that say there is dissension within the Shield because of these Survival Trials.” The fans boo the idea as Seth continues, saying that he admits things have been a bit rocky but that’s to be expected with competition like this. “Yea, I was mad as hell when Dean beat me on the first night, but have you seen me attack him? Just like at the start of this year, people wanted to believe there were cracks in this Shield but there aren’t.” Roman Reigns speaks next, saying that they are as strong as ever as a unit. “We’ve beaten the New Age Outlaws, Evolution and the Wyatt Family. We’ve overcome me having to join the Wyatts and wars with the Authority. Nothing comes between us. At Hell in a Cell, Seth and I are going to step into this, we’re gonna do battle and one of us is going to win. The other one is gonna be pissed and he has every right to be. But the next night, we’re gonna be just as strong, if not stronger. That’s what brothers do. We fight each other and then we fight together.” Reigns puts his fist out and Seth gives it a second before putting his in too. A frustrated Ambrose thinks about it and the fans chant “Yes” before he finally does it. “Believe that…and believe in the Shield” says Reigns before their theme hits and they exit.
ALEXANDER RUSEV W/ LANA VS. CHRISTIAN; Recently, rumors have been flying around that Christian is nearing retirement. It didn’t look like it here, as he comes out with fire. Christian may be trying to prove a point. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand when he scores with a sunset flip and gets a near fall that even rattles Lana. Alexander Rusev groups following a vicious sounding shuffle side kick, earning the win. Alexander Rusev defeats Christian in 2:39!Lana climbs the steps to enter the ring while Alexander Rusev enjoys the win. Lana has a microphone and states that she has some news for the WWE Universe. “Earlier today, I had a word with the great Stephanie McMahon. I told her what you all see. My ‘Super Athlete’ Rusev has been dominating the WWE since WrestleMania. He has never been pinned, nor has he submitted. Yet Rusev was left out of the Survival Trials. No matter because Rusev set his sights on something else. Alberto Del Rio and the WWE United States Title. Stephanie McMahon has granted Rusev his rightful shot and, at Hell in a Cell, Rusev will CRUSH Alberto Del Rio and reign over this entire country!” Rusev screams at the top of his lungs. Could he be our next United States Champion?
Backstage, Renee Young is standing by with former WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. She says that Bryan is not scheduled to compete tonight, but he is here. She wants to know why. Bryan says that it’s simple. “With the Authority, it’s almost never a one on one fight. I fully expect Randy Orton or any number of other Authority members to be lurking around the main event next and I’m going to do my best to have Dolph Ziggler’s back.”
Cutting to the back, Bo Dallas and the Big Show are shown in their locker room. Bo has a huge grin as he tells Big Show that it’s finally come in for him. “For the first time ever, the famous Bolieve shirt is now available in 5x. You can finally proudly show that you’re a Boliever. Surprisingly. Big Show seems much more into this than expected. He pulls the shirt over his head but it’s still too small. Show gives Bo an annoyed look but Bo is undeterred. “Come on Show, you can make it fit. Just Bolieve hard enough and it will fit!” Show tries once more, getting it over, but it rips open when he nearly gets it done. Bo is somehow stunned by all of this but blames it on Show’s lack of Bolieveing, saying they need to work on that. BATISTA VS. DOLPH ZIGGLER; Soon after the match begins, we indeed see the arrival of Randy Orton, as he strolls to ringside with his half of the Tag Team Titles. Just as he stated in the interview earlier, Daniel Bryan comes out to try and even the odds. Batista overpowers Dolph Ziggler from the start, but the former Intercontinental Champion comes back with a loud superkick. He covers but Batista kicks out. Ziggler charges only for Batista to catch him with a spinebuster. He starts to shakes the ropes and goes for the Batista Bomb. Ziggler punches away to break it up and as he falls, he comes down with a Zig Zag! Orton slides into the ring and starts pummeling Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler defeats Batista via disqualification in 10:55!Daniel Bryan doesn’t allow this to stand, entering the ring and taking it to Randy Orton with a series of strikes and kicks. He lays into Orton in the corner but Batista is up and levels him from behind. Dolph Ziggler begins to stir, but Sheamus runs down to the ring and immediately Brogue Kicks him down! Ziggler never had a chance to defend himself. This leaves Bryan all alone with the Tag Team Champions, who flatten him with the Batista Bomb/RKO combination. For the second straight tie this week, the Authority have left Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler unconscious.
1. Cody Rhodes (5-1, 10 points) 2. Roman Reigns (5-1, 10 points) 3. John Cena (5-1, 10 points) 4. Bad News Barrett (3-3, 6 points) 5. Sami Zayn (3-3, 6 points) 6. Seth Rollins (3-3, 6 points) 7. Adrian Neville (3-3, 6 points) 8. Dean Ambrose (2-4, 4 points) 9. Sheamus (2-4, 4 points) 10. Alberto Del Rio (2-4, 4 points) 11. Chris Jericho (2-4, 4 points) 12. The Miz (1-5, 2 points)

No sign of CM Punk I mean where was CM Punk? I would have thought that he would have come to even the odds for Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler but he didn't I have to wonder why?
Ziggler had the match won and he probably would have beat Batista had it not been for Orton causing the DQ but either way Sheamus the WWE Intercontinental Champion and Authority member showing up as he and the WWE Tag Team Champions Batista & Orton fellow Authority members taking out Ziggler and Bryan I mean I again have to wonder where Punk was while all of this was happening?
Bo Dallas and Big Show I still can't believe that these 2 are a tag team I really can't believe it
Rusev beating Christian doesn't come as a shock or as a surprise considering Rusev has been on a tear not being pinned not being submitted the man is still undefeated and now that he is he is targeting Del Rio's WWE United States Championship and with Del Rio not having a Survival Trials match he has to defend his WWE United States Championship against Rusev I mean could Del Rio be the man who ends Rusev's undefeated streak? Or could we be looking at the next WWE United States Champion?
It is obvious that there is still dissension within The Shield and after Hell in a Cell it is bound to all come to a head I can just see it now considering Reigns he has to face Rollins in Survival Trials but also Ambrose can't catch a break he's frustrated they are all frustrated so something has gotta give
Adrian Neville beating WWE Intercontinental Champion Sheamus I have to consider this an upset considering Neville even though he is a relative newcomer he has been impressive in Survival Trials and him beating an Authority member an Authority Guy like Sheamus that has got to be a huge win considering Neville he just pinned the WWE Intercontinental Champion so that takes his record to 3-3 while Sheamus now in Survival Trials is 2-4 I mean their match really did remind me a lot of The 1-2-3 Kid beating Razor Ramon in an upset back in 1993 I am glad that I wasn't the only one who thought about that too
Cody Rhodes has been nothing short of lucky in this tournament getting fluke wins here and there but at Hell in a Cell I see his luck running out considering he is facing John Cena and with all due respect all the guys Rhodes has beaten they are not John Cena they are not a 14 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion they are not the face of the company and have been for the better part of 9 years they are not the man like Cena is the man so Rhodes even though he is the self proclaimed Prince of Pro Wrestling I don't think he really is he hasn't proven it here at least not to me unless if he beats Cena which I can't even remotely see that happen
Emma beating Brie Bella, that's a huge win for Emma considering at one time or another Brie Bella was WWE Divas Champion she is a former WWE Divas Champion so for Emma to beat her that is a huge win for her but after that I wonder where Emma goes from here? But seeing AJ Lee post-match attack Emma I mean she has just made things personal especially now with her and the WWE Divas Champion Paige and considering these 2 girls are going to be in the Cell for the WWE Divas Championship inside Hell in a Cell I would say the stakes have been upped
Chris Jericho beating The Miz to move to 2-4 in this tournament, Jericho is somehow mathematically still in this tournament I mean he is in a 4 way tie I think for 8th place as Jericho, Ambrose, WWE Intercontinental Champion Sheamus and WWE United States Champion Del Rio all have the same record they all have the same amount of points but with Jericho winning this he actually gains momentum considering at the Hell in a Cell pay per view he has Bad News Barrett Mr. Money in the Bank not only in Survival Trials but their match is for Barrett's MITB briefcase so high stakes must win match for both men really but as for Miz he's in dead last I wonder what Miz will have to say about his performance in this tournament I mean he is 1-5 now
Glad that Batista he brought up his movie Guardians of the Galaxy but I would have thought that after mentioning his movie that Batista would get cheered for that because I am sure the WWE Universe the fans have seen him as Drax in the movie and if they have then you would think that they would be cheering for Batista even though he's a heel I wonder why Batista didn't mention that he is going to be in the new Bond movie Spectre? You would think that Batista would mention that but also mention the fact that he is almost becoming as big a movie star as The Rock is especially in Hollywood

Contract signing set!For the first time ever, the WWE Intercontinental Championship will be defended inside of the Hell in a Cell in six nights when Sheamus goes up against his rival, Dolph Ziggler. If you recall, Ziggler ended Sheamus' reign of terror at SummerSlam, only for Sheamus to take the gold back at Night of Champions. Not only did Sheamus dethrone Ziggler, but he tried to end his career with vicious chair shots. Sheamus still carries the blood stained chair to the ring with him. Ziggler returned and his rematch is set for this Sunday's Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. Tonight though, they will share the ring when they officially sign the contract for this historic match. Can they keep their cool or will they come to blows just days before their showdown?

- Sheamus vs Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship inside Satan's structure inside the Devil's playground inside Hell in a Cell I think that this will be the first time ever that the WWE Intercontinental Championship is ever defended inside Hell in a Cell and with these 2 in a contract signing Lord knows that contract signings never end well

Monday Night Raw: October 20th, 2014 – Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri
After the WWE Signature flashes across the screen, viewers are taken to a recap of last Monday night’s events. The Authority, consisting of Batista, Randy Orton and Sheamus defeated CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. They left their opponents laid out and did the same on Smackdown. This is followed by “Tonight is the Night” playing as Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler introduce the episode.
The ominous Hell in a Cell is hanging over the ring tonight and begins to lower, causing the crowd to come alive. They begin to boo as the music of Randy Orton plays. He walks to the ring with Batista, carrying the Tag Team Titles. The Cell hovers over the ring, but doesn’t fully come down. Once inside, Orton speaks, saying that he wanted to come out here and remind everyone of what happened over the past seven days. “We stepped into the ring with Daniel Bryan and CM Punk and, when it was all said and done, we left them out cold. If that wasn’t enough proof that they not only aren’t in our league, but that they should just forfeit this Sunday’s match and save face, then I don’t know what is.” Batista adds that while they should give up and no show Hell in a Cell, he wants them to be there. “Since I returned, Daniel Bryan has been nothing but a giant thorn in my side, taking victories that should have been mine. As for CM Punk, we’ve all heard him bitch about me returning and taking his spot.” Before he can continue, “Cult of Personality” plays and CM Punk steps out onto the stage. Commentary informs us that due to the actions of Batista and Orton on Smackdown, Daniel Bryan is not here tonight. Punk says that even though Bryan is resting at home, he has promised him that he will be ready come Sunday. “You’ve got something wrong there Batista. I didn’t ‘bitch’ about you taking my spot. You could never take my spot because you can’t fill my boots. You two are the ones that don’t hold a candle to myself and Daniel Bryan. We aren’t just doing this because we want the titles or because we flat out don’t like you. Daniel and I represent something. We represent the guys that were never supposed to be here. You two embody what a WWE Superstar is supposed to look like, but we’re going to show the world that that doesn’t matter one bit.” Randy Orton cuts him off and dares Punk to enter the Cell with the two of them right now. CM Punk begins to walk towards the ring, showing no fear as he slides in. Batista and Randy Orton immediately put the boots to him. Punk does his best to fight them off, but he’s at a severe disadvantage. The Shield’s theme hits to a massive pop as Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins begin trekking their way down through the stands. Batista and Orton stand, ready to fight, but once the Shield hop over the guardrail, they wisely exit the ring. As they back up the ramp, Stephanie McMahon steps through the curtain and onto the stage. She tries to calm things down and says that Batista and Randy Orton deserve the night off before Hell in a Cell. “But you Punk…you clearly want to start a fight so tonight, with Daniel Bryan out, you will take one member of the Shield into that very ring with you against Mr. Money in the Bank Bad News Barrett and the Intercontinental Champion Sheamus.”
SURVIVAL TRIALS – ADRIAN NEVILLE (6) VS. SAMI ZAYN (6); Some of the fans in attendance are buzzing, knowing that they are seeing a bit of a dream match here. Sami Zayn has spent a good chunk of 2014 chasing the NXT Championship that Adrian Neville held at one point. He was dethroned by Corey Graves, but now they can see who the better man is. They faced off at the end of 2013, with Neville winning and earning the NXT Title shot where he won the gold. Due to their vast knowledge of each other from matches all around the world, this moves at a very quick pace. Both guys counter each other at every turn, but it is Neville who hits a reverse rana for the very close near fall. He quickly goes up for the Red Arrow, but Sami moves out of the way. Neville slowly gets to his feet, using the turnbuckle to help himself up. Sami smells an opening and runs in with the Helluva Kick, earning two points. Sami Zayn def. Adrian Neville in 10:42!
Sami Zayn quickly gets to his feet and pumps his first, realizing that he’s just beaten someone he was unable to overcome down in NXT. With that win, Sami now has eight points, moving him into sole possession of fourth place, only behind Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and John Cena. Adrian Neville stands up, holding his jaw and shakes hands with his longtime friend, respecting the great competition he got tonight.
Cutting backstage, the Authority is shown in their office. Stephanie McMahon seems pleased with her matchmaking earlier in the evening. Triple H enters and the tension is still very thick between them. Triple H tells her that he likes the idea she had for tonight but he still thinks that things between them are rough. “Look, I’m going to use a separate office. I think it’s best for our differences right now.” Triple H walks off while Stephanie glares at him. Randy Orton asks why she didn’t go after him. Stephanie replies, “You know Randy? I’m at a point where I don’t even care. If he wants to get soft and not do what’s best for business, then I don’t have time for him. Remember, I’m the one named McMahon, I’m in control.”
An ad runs to promote Total Divas. This Sunday, Tyson Kidd and Natalya try to fix their marital problems but tonight, she steps into the ring in a tag team match against her Total Divas rival, Summer Rae. CAMERON AND SUMMER RAE VS. NAOMI AND NATALYA W/ TYSON KIDD; This is a collision of two of the more bitter feuds in the Divas division. Cameron and Naomi have had issues since the Funkadactyls split, while Natalya and Summer never get along on Total Divas. Tyson Kidd spends a good chunk of the match on his cellphone, taking selfies around the ring. It distracts Natalya at one point, allowing Summer to drop her with a spinning heel kick, scoring the win. Cameron and Summer Rae defeat Naomi and Natalya in 3:16!A chorus of boos are heard as Cameron and Summer Rae celebrate their win and head up the ramp. Tyson Kidd looks disappointed in his wife, but she argues with him, blaming him for the loss. He protests, citing that Natalya ruined his selfie. Michael Cole says that their marriage needs all the help it can get.
We go backstage where Adrian Neville is shown icing his jaw after his loss earlier tonight. Some slow, sarcastic clapping can be heard as the Miz walks into the picture. “Neville, Neville, Neville. I’m not surprised that you lost tonight. I mean, it’s clear to the Universe that you have the talent but you’re missing the charisma, the personality…the money maker. Before we meet at Hell in a Cell, you need to let my people get in touch with your people. I can make you into a Superstar Neville.” Neville looks annoyed and tells Miz, “For the last time, I’m not taking your help. You are in last place, your ways aren’t very successful.” Neville makes the mistake of turning around to leave, opening himself up for an attack from behind. Miz pounds away on Neville before throwing him into a nearby mirror, shattering it in the process. Miz looks down on Neville, who is writhing in pain and holding his face, before walking off.
Returning from break, the ring is set up for an official contract signing. Triple H is standing in the ring as he will be presiding over things here. He first introduces a man that he’s had some wars with in the past; the current WWE Intercontinental Champion, Sheamus. The “Celtic Warrior” comes out to nothing but boos and of course, he carries the blood stained steel chair to the ring with him. He shakes Triple H’s hand and then our COO brings out the challenger, Dolph Ziggler. Right before Dolph enters, Triple H gets back on the microphone to warn him that this isn’t going to break down into a fight. “I know how these things tend to go. Trust me, I’ve been a part of more than a few contract signings that ended in brawls. Hell in a Cell is six days away and I will not have the two of you do anything that could ruin that match. It wouldn’t be…how should I put this? Best for business.” Dolph doesn’t look very happy with the news, staring a hole through the steel chair and his own blood. He agrees, sitting across from Sheamus. Sheamus speaks before signing, stating that Dolph Ziggler is a “stupid little fella”. He continues, “Have you not learned your lesson boy? You got lucky at SummerSlam. I beat Big E for this title and I’ve beaten everyone thrown in front of me. Cesaro, Roman Reigns, you name them, I’ve beaten them. All of those guys stood a better chance than you because you’re just too small to even have a chance in the ring against me. Hell, look at your buddy Daniel Bryan. It only took me 18 seconds to win the World Title from him. Understand that I could end you in 18 seconds this Sunday if I wanted to. But that’s not what I want. You see this steel chair here? I don’t think it has enough of your blood on it. This Sunday, I’m going to paint it completely red and you won’t just lose your shot at winning this back…you’ll lose your career.” With those haunting promises, Sheamus signs the contract and slides it to Dolph. Dolph stares across at Sheamus, not breaking eye contact. He grabs the contract and signs it before turning to leave. Before he can exit though, a familiar car crash sound is heard and the crowd erupts. WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley steps through the curtain and walks down to the ring. Triple H and Sheamus both look surprised but Dolph Ziggler still hasn’t taken his eyes off of the Intercontinental Champion. Foley enters the ring and picks up a microphone, saying that he just had to come out here. “I was just enjoying a good time…RIGHT HERE in Kansas City, Missouri!” Following the cheap pop, Foley says that with Hell in a Cell just days away, he thought now would be the best time for him to give his input seeing as how he’s been in two of the most barbaric Cell matches of all-time. “Sheamus, you have every right to be confident going into this Sunday. You did indeed destroy Dolph Ziggler at Night of Champions. But look at that man. Do you see that look in Dolph Ziggler’s eyes?” The camera shifts to show Dolph, who has not had a change of expression and continues to burn a hole through Sheamus. “I’ve seen that look before. I had that look at No Way Out 2000 when I stepped into the Cell with my career on the line. Triple H had that look in his eyes on the same night and we ripped each other to shreds. Thumbtacks, steel chairs, barbed wire and even fire. Neither of us was ever the same again! Do you know who else had that look Sheamus? The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998. Within minutes, the Undertaker had thrown me off of the Cell not once, but twice! You need to understand that just because you did some damage a month ago, it doesn’t mean a damn thing when a man has that look in his eyes!” Sheamus takes a step back, cracking for the first time and looking concerned. Foley continues, saying that regardless of who wins this Sunday, neither of them will ever be the same again. Foley gets close to Sheamus, shouting this but Triple H steps in between them and calms Mick down. Dolph finally picks up a microphone and says “This Sunday, it’s not about stealing the show or showing off. I’m not going to Dallas for any of that. I’m going to hurt you. And I’m going to win back my Intercontinental Title.” Dolph drops the microphone, turns and leaves, breaking eye contact with Sheamus for the first time all night.
SURVIVAL TRIALS – CODY RHODES (10) VS. SETH ROLLINS (6); Last week, Cody Rhodes pulled off the biggest win of the tournament so far when he bested the previously undefeated Roman Reigns and moved into sole possession of first place. Seth Rollins has a date with his Shield brother Reigns this Sunday. Seth looks for momentum, trying for pinfalls after nearly every offensive move. Cody Rhodes is resilient, kicking out of it all and hitting the Disaster Kick. He covers Seth but can only get a near fall. Seth comes back with a buckle bomb and superkick while Cody is on his knees. Seth smells blood, bouncing off the ropes for the Curb Stomp. Cody just manages to avoid it and hits the Cross Rhodes for the finish. Cody Rhodes defeats Seth Rollins in 16:33!The fans cheer, getting more and more behind Cody Rhodes with each passing victory. He now has 12 points thanks to a 6-1 record. Seth Rollins rolls out of the ring, continuing to look disappointed in himself. He falls to 3-4 and finds himself in the middle of the pack in the Survival Trials.
Returning, Renee Young catches up with the man in first place, Cody Rhodes. She asks him how it feels to be on the roll of a lifetime. Cody claim that it’s like nothing he’s never felt before. “When I moved past what my brother did to me, I made it a point to win some gold and make an impact in this company. I don’t call myself the Prince of Pro Wrestling as some smug, fancy nickname. This is what I was born to do. Whether it’s Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins or anybody else in the WWE, nobody will stop me from becoming WWE Champ…” He trails off and the camera pans to the side, revealing John Cena walking over. “I’ll give it to you kid, you are on one hell of a hot streak. You did what I couldn’t. You beat Roman Reigns. You’re in first place. But don’t forget that for the past decade, I’ve been the measuring stick around these parts. You can have the impressive run, but you better know that you have to beat me if you want to be taken seriously around here. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go get ready to get my 12 points just like you. See you Sunday.” Cena walks off leaving Cody flustered. "Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been told of some breaking news. Next week, right here on Monday Night Raw, the owner of the WWE, Mr. McMahon, will be returning to television. It's been over a year since we've seen him on Raw. His reasons for coming? We do not know just yet but next week is officially a can't miss episode" says Michael Cole.
ALEXANDER RUSEV W/ LANA VS. BIG E; Here we have an interesting bout. Alexander Rusev has run through the entire WWE roster, but Big E is a very different animal. He’s one of the few men on the roster that is actually stronger than the “Bulgarian Brute.” These two collide like two badass warriors and it goes on for much longer than your typical Rusev affair. Big E hits a massive splash for a close near fall, but he also is able to kick out from Rusev’s shuffle side kick. Rusev is surprised at this. He looks to Lana, who signals for the Accolade. Before he can apply it though, the theme of the United States Champion hits and Alberto Del Rio comes out to the stage carrying a strange flag. He dares Rusev to come get him. Rusev exits the ring and starts to walk up the ramp but Lana stops him, wanting him to enter the ring. Rusev is too focused on Del Rio and gets counted out. Big E defeats Alexander Rusev via countout in 6:42!Alexander Rusev realizes that he’s been counted out and he starts to throw a fit. Lana tries to calm him down while Big E has his hand raised. Alberto Del Rio has a microphone and speaks to Rusev. “You see this flag right here? It combines my home country of Mexico and the United States, which I represent by holding this title.” Del Rio says that those two nations united give him the strength overcome Bulgaria and Rusev. “You’ve never been pinned and you’ve never submitted in your career. But you’ve also never been locked in the Cross Armbreaker. This Sunday, I make you tap out and end your undefeated streak. But you…you already knew that.” Del Rio winks at Rusev and walks off, while Lana continues to try and calm down the number one contender for the US Title.
A commercial airs, promoting the WWE Network. Tomorrow night on WWE Countdown, we take a look back at the Top Ten Hell in a Cell matches as voted by you, the WWE Universe. The crowd roars as “Stars in the Night” hits and Paige comes down to the ring with a purpose. While she walks, we are taken to a recap of this past Friday night, when AJ Lee snuck up behind Emma and tossed her off of the stage, sending her to the hospital. Cutting back, Paige is in the ring and has a microphone. She demands that AJ Lee come out and face her like a real woman. She gets no response, so she continues. “I know you want the Women’s Title but what you did on Friday took this way past that. It’s not just about proving which one of us is the best, it’s about getting revenge for my friend.” Still no answer from AJ Lee. Paige says that if AJ won’t come to her, she’ll go find her. The crowd roars as she exits the rings and heads to find her challenger. As Paige reaches the curtain she is suddenly knocked back. AJ Lee appears, having leveled Paige. AJ stomps away on the Women’s Champion before going backstage. She quickly returns with a steel chair in hand. “No, not a chair! What the hell has gotten into AJ Lee?” asks Michael Cole. AJ raises the chair over her head but Paige trips her up and stars hammering away with right hands. AJ turns it around and begins choking Paige with the edge of the chair. AJ stands up, backing to the edge to the edge of the stage. She looks over her shoulder to some tables on the ground as a wicked smile widens on her face. “Somebody has got to stop this” exclaims Jerry Lawler. AJ grabs Paige by the hair, looking to throw her off the stage. She charges forward with Paige, but the “Anti-Diva” is able to grab hold of AJ and use that momentum to pull her down, sending both women off the stage and through the table! The crowd chants “HOLY SH*T” while both women lay motionless in the heap of carnage. Medics and officials rush out to try and help them as the show fades to a commercial.
We get a recap of what just went down before the break, as well as some footage from during the break. Both AJ Lee and Paige were helped to the back and sent to a nearby hospital to be checked on. In good news, neither woman needed an ambulance, but the Hell in a Cell match is up in the air. SURVIVAL TRIALS – CHRIS JERICHO (4) VS. JOHN CENA (10); One of the biggest blemishes on the otherwise starling record of Chris Jericho’s career is that he’s never been able to beat John Cena. Bad News Barrett and his Money in the Bank briefcase, which he defends against Jericho this Sunday, is on commentary. Jericho comes close on several occasions but his old nemesis continues to have his number. Jericho does manage to counter the STF into the Walls of Jericho, only for Cena to grabs the ropes. Jericho lets go and steps to Cena, who hoists him up and scores with the Attitude Adjustment to win. John Cena defeats Chris Jericho in 11:30!John Cena is announced as the winner to the delight of the WWE Universe. He now has as many points as Cody Rhodes, sharing a 6-1 record and a tie atop the standings. Speaking of Cody Rhodes, he appears on the stage, clapping for John Cena’s victory. Cena sees this and cracks a small smile. Those two meet this Sunday with first place on the line!
The Survival Trials saw three more great matches tonight and the action continues tomorrow night on the WWE Network. The WWE United States Champion looks to continue his winning ways when he faces the Miz on Main Event!
A special “Hell in a Cell By the Numbers” video package airs, telling us of the destruction that has occurred throughout the near twenty year history of the Hell in a Cell match. BAD NEWS BARRETT AND WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SHEAMUS VS. CM PUNK AND ROMAN REIGNS; Bad News Barrett sticks around after his commentary from the previous match. CM Punk shows up first and when the Shield’s music hits, Roman Reigns comes out, showing that Punk made his decision. It also works as a preview for Sheamus’ Survival Trials match with Reigns this Friday on Smackdown. Both teams go hard from the opening bell, holding nothing back. Sheamus and Barrett are brutes, clubbing away at CM Punk. Punk is able to slip free and make the tag to Reigns, who comes in on complete fire. As he sets up for the Spear on Sheamus, he is tripped and pulled out of the ring by Kane. CM Punk and Roman Reigns defeat Bad News Barrett and Sheamus via disqualification in 7:23!Kane strikes Roman Reigns with a throat thrust, but Reigns fires back. The WWE Tag Team Champions, Batista and Randy Orton run down to the ring, looking to take full advantage of CM Punk with no Daniel Bryan in the arena. Sheamus and Bad News Barrett join in on the assault, all four men putting the boots to Punk until Dolph Ziggler rushes out. He is quickly joined by Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, who come in through the crowd and we’ve got a full scale war going. Punk dives outside onto Orton, fighting with him and Batista. Ziggler and Sheamus spill to the outside as well, going to war. Reigns enters the ring and the Shield are in control, having thrown Kane into the steel steps and now stand alone with Barrett. They call for the Triple Powerbomb but Barrett slips out of their grip. Seth swings at him, but Barrett ducks and gets behind him. Reigns strikes him, knocking him aside just as Seth tries the Pele kick, inadvertently striking Reigns. Reigns staggers back to the ropes before stepping to Seth’s face. They argue and Dean steps in between them, looking to keep the peace. They nearly come to blows while the wars continue to rage on the outside as Raw comes to an end.
1. Cody Rhodes (6-1, 12 points) 1. John Cena (6-1, 12 points) 3. Roman Reigns (5-1, 10 points) 4. Sami Zayn (4-3, 8 points) 5. Bad News Barrett (3-3, 6 points) 6. Seth Rollins (3-4, 6 points) 7. Adrian Neville (3-4, 6 points) 8. Dean Ambrose (2-4, 4 points) 9. Sheamus (2-4, 4 points) 10. Alberto Del Rio (2-4, 4 points) 11. Chris Jericho (2-5, 4 points) 12. The Miz (1-5, 2 points)

WWE Main Event: October 21st, 2014 – Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas SURVIVAL TRIALS – ALBERTO DEL RIO (4) VS. THE MIZ (2); It’s no secret that the Miz has struggled during the Survival Trials, having just one victory, though it did come against the man currently in first place, Cody Rhodes. Alberto Del Rio started cold before reeling off two straight wins. Most of the Miz’s offense is directed towards the head of Del Rio, while the US Champion goes after the right arm. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but he has to let go due to the pain in his arm. Del Rio takes advantage, slapping on the Cross Armbreaker and making the “A-Lister” submit. Alberto Del Rio defeats the Miz in 7:53!
Alberto Del Rio hops to his feet and beats his chest in celebration. He has now won three straight matches in the Survival Trials after starting out 0-4. The Miz continues to look lost, sitting in dead last in the Survival Trials. Del Rio has momentum on his side heading into his United States Title defense against Alexander Rusev at Hell in a Cell.
1. Cody Rhodes (6-1, 12 points) 1. John Cena (6-1, 12 points) 3. Roman Reigns (5-1, 10 points) 4. Sami Zayn (4-3, 8 points) 5. Bad News Barrett (3-3, 6 points) 6. Seth Rollins (3-4, 6 points) 7. Batista & Orton are the WWE Tag Team Champions and yes they have to defend their titles in less than 6 days at Hell in a Cell against CM Punk and Daniel Bryan inside Hell in a Cell the first ever Tag Team Hell in a Cell Match but if anything Batista and Orton they know what Hell in A Cell is all about considering Batista he has been in there with Taker namely at Survivor Series 2007 and also he has been in there with Triple H too Vengeance 2005 but also Orton he has been in the Cell with Cena, Taker and Sheamus while Punk he too knows what Hell in a Cell is all about being in there with Taker but also being in there with Del Rio and Cena but Bryan he has experience too inside Hell in a Cell namely against Orton so all of these guys know what the Cell can do but also how grueling and brutal it is so I expect a bloody, brutal and physical fight inside the Cell on Sunday
Punk coming to the ring alone like Punk either has more guts than brains or he really just doesn't care at all now does he? Considering Orton & Batista the WWE Tag Team Champions they momentarily took out Punk's partner Bryan leaving Punk all alone but just when Punk is about to get the living hell beat out of him here comes The Shield all 3 members making the save for Punk and just when Batista & Orton are about to fight The Shield they bail out of the ring like cowards and why? Because Batista & Orton know what The Shield are capable of they know what they are all about considering the battles of the past between The Shield and Evolution but then cue Stephanie McMahon who comes out to make a match with Authority members Mr. Money in the Bank Bad News Barrett and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Sheamus taking on Punk and a member of The Shield in a Tag Team Match, typical Authority move I can't say that I'm surprised but Punk he too has history with The Shield so it should be interesting to see who he picks as his partner for tonight out of The Shield...if Punk were smart he would pick Roman Reigns but I have a feeling the WWE Tag Team Champions Batista & Orton will show up again before the night is over
The contract signing for later on tonight between Ziggler & Sheamus for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Hell in A Cell Match is something I know I am really really looking forward to because this will be the first time the WWE Intercontinental Championship is ever defended inside Hell in a Cell so history in a sense is being made
Sami Zayn more or less bounces back in Survival Trials going to 4-3 beating Adrian Neville who now goes to 3-4 I mean the battle of the young guns here with Zayn being the NXT upstart one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions along with Kevin Owens but then you have Neville who it wasn't that long ago was an NXT upstart himself but called up to the main roster and ever since has basically become a star I mean seeing these 2 go at it reminds me so much of their battles in NXT it really does so much so that this match didn't disappoint definitely was entertaining but in the end seeing Zayn go over here I mean this just shows us that Zayn he just may in fact be ready for the main roster and that he doesn't really need NXT after all especially given how he's been performing in this tournament I mean he is in 4th place not that far off from being in the top 3
Seeing that there is still trouble in paradise with Triple H and Stephanie but in actuality I think it is more or less a swerve a smokescreen to fool us all and that there is no dissension within their marriage at all nor is there dissension within The Authority because like I said I think they are just fooling us all into thinking that as a way to sticking it to the fans think about it
Miz throwing Neville into the mirror reminded me so much of when Michaels did it to Jannetty or even Jericho doing it to Michaels back in 2008 and seeing Miz do it here to Neville after Neville rejected Miz's help yet again and basically made fun of Miz and Miz not taking kindly to that I wonder if after what Miz has just done if Neville will be in any kind of condition to continue in this tournament? What Miz did was heinous to say the least definite heel heat will probably go through the roof for Miz after that but after this I mean Miz he can go on a roll in Survival Trials especially now that he basically just made this statement seemingly out of nowhere even if it had to come at Neville's expense
The contract signing between Sheamus and Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Hell in A Cell Match didn't disappoint especially seeing Triple H the COO himself officiating this by overseeing it I mean if anyone can keep order here he can but then seeing a surprise return here from Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy Mick Foley himself show up here I mean if anyone knows all about Hell in A Cell it is Mick Foley considering his history with Taker and with Triple H inside the Cell but also being the Special Guest Referee in Nash/HHH inside Hell in A Cell I mean Foley knows what he's talking about but then seeing him trying to get through to Sheamus and Ziggler just what they are in for I mean Sheamus he already knows what Hell in A Cell is all about having been there inside of it with Orton but Ziggler he's never been inside Satan's structure he's never been inside Hell in a Cell so I think advantage goes to Sheamus this Sunday
Cameron & Summer Rae beating Naomi & Natalya I mean seeing these 2 diva feuds basically intertwining with one another here in this match seeing the heel divas come out on top here is not all that surprising given the roll Summer Rae has been on ever since aligning herself with not only The Miz but also ever since feuding with Natalya she has been on a roll but same goes for Cameron ever since she has turned on Naomi ever since the Funkadactyls have split I mean it was all bound to come to a head
You seem to be on Cody Rhodes' jock much aren't you? I mean here he is winning yet another match this time beating Rollins to advance to 6-1 in this tournament I mean Rhodes even by some miracle if he happens to win this tournament he has no chance in hell no chance at all against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar I mean look at Cody Rhodes and look at a man like Brock Lesnar...Brock is not just a man he's more than a man actually he's a Beast a Conqueror and you think Cody stands a chance against a man like that? The man who will forever be known as the One in 21-1 the man who ended Bryan's title reign at SummerSlam beating him and Cena in the same night in a Triple Threat Match he dominated Bryan and Cena like they were never ever dominated before he dominated Punk at Night of Champions and Rhodes even if he were to win this tournament which I still don't even think that he can but if he were to there is no realistic way he can match up toe to toe with Lesnar not only size-wise or strength-wise but Rhodes isn't credible enough to face Lesnar in the sense of even being in Lesnar's league but somehow Rhodes' luck is bound to run out at some point but Rollins losing again I mean frustration is bound to get to Rollins sooner or later and if that happens cue the destruction of The Shield it is almost inevitable at this point
Cena is right about one thing for once Rhodes is not the future unless he goes through him but also he is right about Rhodes being lucky in this tournament because that's all Cody has been in this tournament is lucky his wins have been predicated on nothing but luck while Cena he actually gets the job done
Vince returning next week I wonder why? Whatever it is I am sure it is big
Big E. beating Rusev all be it by countout yes Rusev technically in the record books yes he lost this match but he didn't lose cleanly he lost by countout big difference so in a sense it still protects Rusev's undefeated streak in the sense of Rusev hasn't been pinned or been made to submit but this does huge wonders for Big E. as far as a potential push goes but then seeing Del Rio post-match it is almost inevitable it will lead to Rusev vs Del Rio at Hell in a Cell for the WWE United States Championship, Title vs Streak but either way I can't wait
Paige and AJ after what just happened with them both going off the stage through tables I even wonder if these girls will be in any kind of condition for their WWE Women's Championship Hell in a Cell Match? Since Paige is set to defend her title against AJ so it begs the question of if she will even be able to? Will AJ even be able to compete?
Cena beating Jericho in Survival Trials I mean Cena and Jericho have quite the history with each other I mean their rivalry goes back years all the way back to even 2005 almost 9 years ago in this diary and through the years their rivalry has pretty much stood as a testament to all the great rivalries in WWE but seeing Cena coming out on top to move to 6-1 in this tournament I mean shouldn't he and Cody be tied for 1st place? And they are so that being said then why is Cody Rhodes still on top of the leaderboard then if he and Cena have identical records identical amount of points? Jericho is now 2-5 he still has a chance all be it slim in this tournament but Jericho has much bigger issues to worry about this Sunday at Hell in a Cell because he is facing The Future of the WWE he's facing a man who he once mentored in NXT when Barrett was his rookie and Jericho was his Pro on the 1st season of NXT but Barrett he's not just the future of the WWE he's also the future of The Authority especially since he has that Money in the Bank briefcase and he and Jericho are facing off not only in Survival Trials this Sunday at Hell in a Cell but Barrett's briefcase is also on the line in that match so there are huge stakes involved
Miz vs WWE United States Champion Del Rio on Main Event in Survival Trials I mean after the heinous act that Miz committed on Neville I wonder if after that ruthless and brutal attack if that is what turns The Miz around? If that is what makes The Miz more of a hated heel in the WWE? If that turns Miz into a top heel now he can actually capitalize off of that by basically going on a roll but then again Del Rio he is on a roll too or he has been as of late in Survival Trials so something has gotta give here
Main event sees Punk & the powerhouse of The Shield Roman Reigns beat Mr. Money in the Bank Bad News Barrett & WWE Intercontinental Champion Sheamus all be it by DQ because of Authority brethren Kane getting involved in this match I mean we all know that The Authority definitely had to have something up their sleeves here and then it turns into a 3 on 2 assault cue the WWE Tag Team Champions Batista & Orton Authority members coming out to help join in making it a 5 on 2 assault and then cue Ziggler coming out to try to even the odds and then after that the rest of The Shield coming out with Rollins and Ambrose coming out to make the save as it turns into a melee to end RAW...I mean what a perfect RAW ending but what made it even more perfect was seeing the seeds of the destruction of The Shield coming to a head here before our very eyes with Rollins accidentally nailing Reigns with a Pele Kick after Barrett ducked out of the way and it staggers Reigns enough that he gets into Rollins' face I would have expected Roman to take Rollins' head off and he would've too if it hadn't been for Ambrose trying to play peacemaker but at the same time Rollins and Reigns have to face each other this Sunday at Hell in a Cell in Survival Trials I mean this tournament could very well spell the beginning of the end for The Shield
Del Rio the WWE United States Champion beating The Miz to go to 3-4 in this Survival Trials tournament I mean Del Rio is on a roll I mean he has won 3 straight matches in a row especially given how he started this tournament at 0-4, 4 straight losses to start off with and then afterwards he wins not 1 not 2 but 3 matches in a row to go to 3-4 I mean Del Rio he could eventually get hot in this tournament but considering this Sunday he has to defend his WWE United States Championship against the undefeated Rusev I mean Del Rio has momentum but he is going up against Rusev who hasn't been pinned or been made to submit I mean Del Rio if he can somehow end Rusev's undefeated streak by some miracle then Del Rio can actually get even hotter in Survival Trials but who knows what could happen between now and then

WWE NXT: October 23rd, 2014 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
To open the broadcast, a video package is shown, highlighting the first two matches in the Charlotte/Sasha Banks series. We see Charlotte retain the NXT Women’s Championship over Sasha at TakeOver: R-Evolution last month in a hard fought match. Then, earlier this month, Sasha captured the title from Charlotte in a Two out of Three Falls match at Divas Smackdown. The video lasts a few minutes, with voiceovers from both Sasha and Charlotte. Charlotte speaks about being “genetically superior”, saying that being champion is her birthright. Sasha responds, “Charlotte’s right. I wasn’t born into this business. None of my family members did what I do for a living. I didn’t get here because of my last name. I got here because I’m damn good. I got this title because I’m the best” Tonight, we will witness the historic rubber match between two of the best females on the planet.
NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – SASHA BANKS (C) VS. CHARLOTTE; There seems to be a buzz in the crowd as they anticipate this contest after their first two matches were great. Charlotte offers a handshake but Sasha slaps it away and they lock up. The first few minutes of this bout sees both women jockey for position. They’ve come to know each other so well over their time together in the Beautiful Fierce Females and matches against one another that they’re ready for each other’s offense. Neither girl wants to make the first mistake, so they work at a very deliberate pace, never gaining a clear advantage. The first one to slip up is Sasha, overreaching on a hold, allowing Charlotte to turn it over and gain control. She channels her father by firing off a rapid fire series of chops. Sasha turns it around, hitting a bunch of her own, complete with her own “woos” in between each one. She even busts out a strut, fully mocking Ric Flair. This angers Charlotte, who connects on a vicious spear and reels off some hard right hands. At this point, this match has now exceeded two commercial breaks. Sasha Banks takes back over using a suicide dive to the outside. Once back in, Sasha tries multiple pinning combinations but is never able to fully put Charlotte away. Sasha’s face grows in frustration, upset with herself for not being able to keep her title yet. She sends Charlotte into the corner and connects on her double knee drop for yet another near fall. Sasha looks for the Bank Statement but Charlotte wriggle free and rolls her up for two. As they get up, Charlotte hits a neckbreaker and climbs to the top, struggling to get up there due to exhaustion. She shows some incredible stamina by leaping off with a moonsault. Sasha rolls away and Charlotte lands on her feet before immediately flipping over in a senton. Thanks to their previous matches, Sasha is ready for this and gets her knees up. “These women have been going at it this for over thirty minutes now, they have to be about ready to collapse” says Renee Young. Sasha locks in the Bank Statement and Charlotte struggles. You can see the pain in her face, but she rolls back and into a pin for two. Sasha charges but Charlotte is ready, tripping her up and applying the figure four! Sasha is now the one in massive pain, writhing around hopelessly before grabbing the ropes. Charlotte shows frustration now but sees an opening when Sasha gets to her knees. She scores with Natural Selection and instantly covers but Sasha somehow gets a shoulder up. Charlotte angrily pounds the mat but catches another opening. She manages to hit Natural Selection a second time and the crowd knows it over. Charlotte lays on Sasha and covers. 1….2……NO! Sasha gets her foot on the bottom rope, breaking the pin. You can see the tears forming in Charlotte’s eyes as she is clueless about what to try next, especially with only a few minutes remaining in the entire episode. She grabs Sasha and seems to be looking for a super Natural Selection. Sasha fights out of it and turns around to deliver shots. She goes up top and hits a huge superplex. As quickly as she is able to, she transitions over and rolls into the Bank Statement, wrenching back harder by the second. Finally, Charlotte taps out and gives up. Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte to retain the NXT Women’s Championship in 43:07!The entire capacity of fans in Full Sail University come to their feet to give a standing ovation to the performance they just witnessed by these two women. “I have never witnessed anything quite like that” says Tom Phillips. Sasha Banks and Charlotte both lay in the center of the ring, completely worn out, while the crowd continues to applaud. Sasha stirs first, using the ropes to help herself up. The referee hands her the NXT Women’s Title, which she is barely able to raise up. Even the commentary team is standing and applauding. Charlotte gets to her feet, offering a handshake but just like at the start of the match, Sasha declines, choosing to head up the ramp with her title. Other matches were planned for this evening, but there is no time left after that outing from two of the very best.

Sasha Banks retaining her NXT Women's Championship against Charlotte yet again I mean this match definitely not only stole the show but it was simply just better than their last match surpasses it by far...definite Match of the Year candidate as far as Slammys go even though it was a Divas match but it wasn't a main roster match

- There is obvious that there is dissension within The Shield I mean how could there not be? Rollins accidentally nailing Reigns with a Pele Kick I mean what if it wasn't accidental? What if Rollins meant to hit Reigns on purpose? Either way Reigns looked about ready to knock Rollins' head off and I am surprised that these 2 didn't come to blows considering they are facing each other in Survival Trials this Sunday at Hell in a Cell and seeing their Shield brother Ambrose trying to play peacemaker I mean it is only a matter of time before The Shield cracks from within and given that Hell in a Cell is in less than 2 nights from now I mean it is all bound to come to a head
- Big Show & Bo Dallas seem to win yet another match as a tag team I mean before I had my doubts about them but it seems that this odd couple this odd tag team is actually paying off seeing as how they beat Rybaxel I mean it is only a matter of time before Rybaxel break up which results in Ryback's babyface turn I mean it is about time Ryback turns back babyface seeing as how his heel turn has been nothing but a failure whereas Axel he needs to go his own way and focus on being a singles competitor and seeing as how Axel is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion he can set his sights back on that title or hell go after the WWE United States Championship
- Cody Rhodes I still say that even though he is on top of this Survival Trials tournament standings it won't last for long especially considering he has to face John Cena the face that runs the place at Hell in a Cell in Survival Trials and Rhodes he says he is the future but he can only be the future if he beats Cena which he hasn't and I don't think he can because Rhodes if he somehow wins at Hell in A Cell which I don't think he will but let's say he does and Rhodes goes on to win this whole tournament there's no way in hell that he even stands a chance against The Beast Incarnate The Conqueror The One in 21-1 Brock Lesnar the WWE World Heavyweight Champion...Rhodes would get taken to Suplex City and then some hell Rhodes he has never ever been in the ring with someone like Brock but Cena has and that's the big difference between the 2 of them
- Nikki Bella beating Alicia Fox I mean Nikki is gaining momentum I mean she could be in line for a future WWE Women's Championship match
- After Tyson Kidd's sit down interview with Michael Cole I mean I can only imagine or I can only wonder where Tyson Kidd goes from here? I can see Tyson Kidd back on the main roster and with him back on the main roster him making an immediate impact but how is he going to go about doing that?
- Dean Ambrose of The Shield beating Authority member and Mr. Money in the Bank Bad News Barrett in Survival Trials to take his record to 3-4 while Barrett is also 3-4 now I mean they are essentially tied for 5th place actually it is a 5-way tie for 5th place because here you have Ambrose, Barrett, the WWE United States Champion Del Rio, Neville and Seth Rollins all with identical records of 3-4 all with the same amount of points I mean it is only a wonder if of there could be a shift in the standings? But in all seriousness I would have expected either Chris Jericho to interfere in this match by simply causing a distraction to Barrett which would allow Ambrose to take advantage considering Jericho is facing Barrett this Sunday at Hell in a Cell in Survival Trials but Barrett's briefcase his MITB briefcase is on the line I just would have expected Jericho to make an appearance or even Sami Zayn, Ambrose's opponent I would have expected him to show up post-match
- Rusev beating Adam Rose with relative ease I mean Rusev is undefeated he hasn't been pinned or been made to submit ever since bursting on to the scene here in this diary I mean he has so much momentum probably the most of any superstar in the WWE right now and seeing as how he is facing Del Rio this Sunday at Hell in a Cell for the WWE United States Championship I mean we could be looking at the next WWE United States Champion
- On MizTV, Miz's guest ends up being the man who he threw through a glass window that being Neville I mean how is Neville in any condition to be here tonight on Smackdown much less on MizTV given what Miz did to him? And considering that they are facing each other this Sunday at Hell in a Cell in Survival Trials I mean Neville no doubt has to be less than 100 percent he may have bandages on his face but how could he not have eye damage? Or any kind of nerve damage in his facial area? But then seeing Neville charge at Miz and Miz retreating I mean I can't blame Neville seeing as how Miz could have ended Neville's career
- Roman Reigns of The Shield beating WWE Intercontinental Champion Sheamus of The Authority to take his record in Survival Trials to 6-1, Reigns is in a tie for 1st place with Rhodes and Cena but if then because of the tie-breaker shouldn't Reigns be in 1st place overtaking Rhodes and Cena to be on top of the standings? Reigns should be at the top of the standings at least now he should be considering he competed whereas Rhodes and Cena have not and not to mention he has the exact same record as Rhodes and Cena and the exact same amount of points too

Rhodes beat Reigns. That puts Rhodes atop the standings because he holds the tiebreaker.
