Found almost all of the new Simpsons Lego minifigures that came out today except for Milhouse. These things are so awesome. Just a note for anyone who collects minifigures, Lego raised the price 50 cents to $3.99 each. View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentThose figures are awesome! I also spotted the new 25th anniversary set at toys r us. In surprised since we don't get too many neca figures here. I picked up kid rock.  |

So I am pretty much screwed for getting new Battle Packs AND new Basic figures at my local Walmart. First of all, the battle pack figures are of Ryback/Jindar and Rey/Cara. They've been there since well before Christmas.
Secondly, the basic line that is there is the WM Heritage line, but it's just Orton, Batista and Ryback. And to make it worse, they put the figure price up from $10 back to $15.92. So clearly these figures won't sell.
Anyone else has bad situations like this at their Walmart stores??

I caved today and bought a ticket for the Meet and Greet/Jim Ross show next friday in Toronto! I can't resist getting my Classic Superstars J.R. signed and buying some BBQ sauce...Good Gawd!!! See u there! Drove by the Danforth Music Hall and noticed Jim Ross' name on the upcoming events list sign. I'll take a pic Monday or Tuesday |

Raptors game is at 1pm on sunday.. damn... all because of portland winning that CRAZY ending of the game tonight.. or else the game woulda been later.. like 3:30pm or 7pm... so now i wont be going to meet bret hart on sunday .. probably still go early to the toy show for jake.. or i might just cancel my sunday... game is definitely more important than getting jake and bret's signature right now in my life lol...guess ill have to wait to get bret on my hart foundation poster... |

Ended up going to the sports card expo today to meet Jake. Unfortunately I won't be able to go to the toy show tomorrow but my brother is taking some items for me to get signed by Bret hart. The admission was 12 bucks to get in today. When I arrived jake was taking a break but returned about 15 minutes later. He was charging 25 bucks for his items ( t shirts, 8x10s, etc) or 20 bucks for your own item. I got my mania 3 picture, my mania 30 poster and my hall of fame t shirt signed. Jake was surprised as he has never seem the hof shirt in person. He also had a stack of old cards that he was signing for 10 bucks each. He signed and gave one to my son for free. He also took a picture with us for free. Pretty nice guy, seemed to be in good spirits. Is recommend that you guys get him tomorrow at the toy show. He's definitely one of those wrestlers you have to meet, and for 20 bucks I think its more than fair. I'll post pics soon.

As I said before, I am pretty tight on money right now until next paycheck, so I think I will have to pass up meeting Bret and just go to the 80's Toy Show and meet Jake instead. He's charging $20 for autographs which isn't too bad. I've narrowed it down to 3 items and I might not even get all 3 signed, may just get 1. I will be bringing my VHS clamshell WWF Coliseum Video of Jake "The Snake", WWF LJN poster and WWF Superstars #1 Magazine which I've already got signed by Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. If I am only getting 1 item signed, then for sure it's the Coliseum Video tape. I think that will look awesome signed and look great on display. |

I'm sure there will be many opportunities to meet him in the future, and for cheaper. The first time I met him, all you had to do was make a $5 minimum donation to March of Dimes. This was at a parking lot, so no admission fee. For $5, I got 3 items signed. I could have gotten more, but I found out about the signing last minute, so I just grabbed what was in front of me. The second time was at a film shoot (I was with yeetman13). Got two items signed there.. both for free |

^ ya i am passing on actually going to meet bret.. mostly because of the raptors game tomorrow.... i am still gonna go get jake to sign stuff tomorrow... i am really torn on what to get signed tho...i was thinking of getting my WM4 poster signed (his picture is actually on it) but thinking back over the past 2 years, the amount of guys that i could have had sign it that were here in the GTA is huge.. i should have started to get it signed right away when i got it... so i think i may just keep that one never signed by anyone.... i could have had it signed by the following people by now: Hogan, Bret, Anvil, Demolition, Koko, Hacksaw, Beefcake, Volkoff, Dibiase, Jimmy Hart and Tito... so it would kind of suck to start it now...so i think ill pass on that..
other than that, i got a really cool promo photo from 1988, obviously got his LJN stuff (poster and cardback), could get that clamshell signed like old school is planning to do, but my clamshells are on display with the spines showing only.... that time when i got demolition to sign the vhs was cool, but they were much cheaper... i spent like $20 total and i got 5 signatures from each guy.. so $2 per signature.. $4 instead of $20...
also got all his magazines with him on the cover...and probably a program or two...
for tito, i ended up getting him to sign my strike force LJN poster (still kind of regret it), and a program...tito was only $10 i believe and they only charged me for the one...
decisions decisions over the next hour!

Met Jake at the Toy Show today. Got my encyclopedia signed.. Very nice guy. He made jokes with everyone.. Also saw yeetman13 there as well. Toy show was decent for wrestling stuff, but I didn't buy much. Not too many great deals, most we're overpriced, imo. Other than the autograph price, I only spent $8 at the show.
After, I went to a goodwill and three value villages. Not much luck, but I was able to purchase a lot of 13 Mattel figures (including 2 decently rare elites) for $40.

Just got back from the Sportscard Expo. Lineup for Bret Hart was fairly long, they were ordered by the letter on your card, A, B, C, D. I was later getting there at like 1:50, so had to go with the Ds. Took just over an hour in line to met him, not bad. Got my WM Elite Bret and my buddy got his Pink and Black Exclusive Elite signed. I'll post picks later. He was only scheduled 2-3 but stayed longer to accomodate those who bought autograph tickets. I also found a basics bald Kane at a vendor so I can now finish building my Elite Corporate Kane!!!
