I am just asking this because wrestlers bust there butts for the wwe but always get held back. undertaker back for one match triple h back for another main pay per view. batista, well he just sucks. brock lesnar wow shows up for summerslam, wrestlemania the rock, please this guy is pathetic gets the belt then is off camera for 3 weeks with the belt while cm punk wrestled every week when he was champion even john cena wrestles every week. what about wrestlers like alberto del rio, ceasaro, and many more who are at the events every week and have to take a back seat to the part timers.
just would like to know what others think

Personally, when they booked Cena v Rock a year in advance that's what did it for me. I got sick of part time wrestlers at the point. Right up until then I was all for random returns and one off matches. I guess it is becoming more visible and apparent to the general public now that the current talent roster resents guys like the Rock and Batista coming in and taking the main event spots away from guys who work their butts off all year long. That is what is frustrating to me.

I don't mind them coming back, I mind them coming back and getting major story lines. The blame isn't theirs either. We can't blame the Rock. Sure his last run was pretty terrible but he sells. Highest grossing WM ever last year. I really believe the problem lays with the management for not investing the time to develop well thought out plots for there mid carders in order for them to develop into main event or upper mid carders.

I'm not sure it's really a new thing to be honest. If you look back in time it's been happening for as long as I can remember, it's just that wrestling is so much more exposed and there's so many more shows.
I could be wrong, but back in the days of the "Big Four" PPV's, how regular a schedule did some of the Main Eventers actually work? I think a number of them would easily be considered part timers by today's standards.
And what about guys like Piper and Hogan in the New Generation years (dropping in and out while Hart and Michaels stole the show every other night), Jannetty showing up repeatedly in the early 90's from the crowd and getting a title shot, the many returns and departures of the Ultimate Warrior...I think a case could be made that while it wasn't exactly the same as the way some of the contracts are set up now, from a fans perspective was it really all that different? In some ways it keeps things fun and fresh, and while I do agree it can hurt some peoples careers, I still believe the cream rises to the top, and that hard work, dedication, perseverance and having that intangible "it" factor will always be rewarded.

Honestly, Lesnar and The Rock returning brought me back into wrestling full time again. I started to care if I missed a show. So, no, I'm not tired of them.

No.
The fact is they draw. The only full-timer that draws is Cena (although Daniel Bryan may join that club eventually).

I agree, I think it's really unfair and must be discouraging to a large majority of the roster. I feel really bad for guys like Kofi, Ziggler, etc. who've been around a LONG time and always get overlooked for WrestleMania.

Honestly, it's refreshing to actually have the part-time 'featured stars' appear, cut promos and actually build to a ppv match without wrestling or brawling with they're opponent every week. It gets your imagination pumping and adds suspense more....I mean look at Monday night. Orton and Batista are fighting each other in a match mere days before the actual WrestleMania match.....the WWE is without question oversaturated and over-exposed today.....It's not only great to see the legends pop back in from time to time but also bring the old time feel of hype and excitement back too.

No. If they were full time they wouldn't feel as special.
Some guys work best as attractions.

Not really no. The only problem I've had with the part timers in the last, I don't know when, is how they handled CM Punk from Rumble to Mania last year. I personally think he should have cheated to get past Rock at Rumble, lost the title at EC, and there should have been a triple threat at Mania, where Cena pinned Punk to win the title. This does 3 things; lets Cena overcome the odds LMFAO, it protects The Rock (opening the door for future showdowns with Cena or Punk), and it gives Cena the win over Punk he was never able to capture in 2012, thus setting up a potential CM Punk vs Cena 1-on-1 at Mania down the road.
But I'm not booking the show so whatever. It's awesome to see guys come in and out and it makes them feel special. Batista winning the Rumble was a mistake imo, but that situation has seemingly worked itself out to some degree. RVD, Jericho, Brock, those guys have been awesome to see back and I think their booking has been handled really well. The Rock wasn't coming back for anything less than the main event, and judging by the buy rates, he shouldn't have either. That's why Stone Cold wants the Mania main event in order to return, which I also agree with personally. If Austin walked back through the door and said he was headlining Mania 31, I would have zero problem with it.
Now, the flip side to that argument is that WWE has been extremely reliant on that talent at the expense of their own full time talent. New talent will never be as good as old talent if you don't position them as stars, which I truly believe WWE has failed to do during the John Cena era. Just my opinion, but Cena should be used to raise guys up to his level, which I'm hoping is the case with Bray Wyatt. WWE overreacts every single time John Cena leaves TV imo. I think Bryan being the focal point Monday and getting a good rating is a nice sign. Not something WWE can count on yet but it's a step forward.

If they wrestle on RAW and or SmackDown, they're not part time.
