Thought this would be the best place to post this.
I just received a loose CS1 HBK in a trade and it's in very poor condition (was told before hand). I was hoping to fix it up and try to restore it the best I can, but both legs are severely yellowed.
I've searched the internet for a few tips, but there doesn't seme to be much that can be done. I thought i'd post here anyway and see if anyone has found anything that helps to reduce the yellowing.
All held and advice would be appreciated!

Well... if the shin molds are bad, maybe you can find similar shins on a newer figure.
You never know, you might be able to find some kid in the classifieds who tore his figure apart and has leg pieces.
If nothing else, at least you have the torso and head you can maybe use on a different set of legs.
That's all I got.

Unfortunatley it's the whole of both legs and not just the shins That will be an alternative for me if no one can help, to use the base of the figure as a template and do some sort of repaint custom instead of a fix up.

Boiling soapy water helped to reduce the yellowing on the CS1 HBK I bought off someone.

Boiling soapy water helped to reduce the yellowing on the CS1 HBK I bought off someone. Will deffinatley give that a try, but after looking into it a bit online it looks like there's nothing that can be done as it's a permanent chemical change caused by either the sun, or more likely somewhere else where it was stored.

Just try to scrub it with some warm soapy water, and see if it does any good

I think a touch-up with white acryllic might be your only way of restoring him mate...I know it seems obvious

Flameboy, Your CS1 HBK looks like this AD1 Hardy right? PIC (Credit: darkdm) Some of my white figures (WMXX Christian & RA9 Matt Hardy) are like this too. Soap and warm water don't seem to help. The only thing that moderately helped was using nail polish remover. With all the hearts on the tights of HBK, I don't think that'll work well in your situation.
