The shock hasn't wore off yet. I thought there was no way Brock was going to end the streak. I just can't fully comprehend this. As far as the match goes, it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it was going to be and something just didn't feel right. I just can't believe it's over.

Probably telling him to reverse the Tombstone.

If they were going to end the streak, then it should've been Punk last year, after holding the belt for 434 days. It would've actually done something for Punk, it would've defined his career... but no, they have Punk lose, job him out to Lesnar and then let that money-grabbing, part-time, toss-pot - who doesn't care one iota about the business, and doesn't need it, end it instead. And you wonder why Punk would rather be home in Chicago, watching the Blackhawks. No. Just no. Flat no. And they clearly made the right decision not letting Punk have the streak. Anyone even capable of walking out the way he did isn't deserving of such an accolade. Not saying they knew Punk would walk out or anything. But I bet in hindsight, they're probably glad he wasn't the one to do it. I am, and I love Punk. And on that note, why are we even talking about this guy? He's gone and even refuses to be addressed by his stage name anymore. This has nothing to do with him. It's about time you Punk fans let this one go. WWE put on a great show tonight and you're still belly aching over a guy that not only wasn't on the card, but didn't want to be. If Punk would have ended the streak, I guarantee you he would have stayed. This, Brock winning, plays right into what Punk was saying. Taker lost to someone we most likely won't see tomorrow, why? Give it so someone who NEEDS IT.

This was just another genius strategy to get all the fans riled up. If you all have been paying attention all year, this was a successful strategy they used with Daniel Bryan - they pissed everyone off over and over again, while people payed money over and over again to see Bryan get his win back (and be happy again). In the end, the WWE gave everyone what they wanted on their biggest stage.
We'll see where they go with Lesnar next...

Unbelievable.
Could you imagine how great Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker would have been. Why not pass the torch to the guy who's basically taking your place anyway?

The reason they chose Lesnar, a part-timer over a up and comer (or Cena) was because they didn't want that stress and weight on the shoulders of the guy that beat him. It was better to let somebody like Brock beat it, honestly. Imagine the pressure that would have been on a guy like Reigns. This is the internet, sir. Take your logic elsewhere!

Lesnar VS Taker finish. Calling it. Taker wins. You can quote me on that.

Give it so someone who NEEDS IT. No one NEEDS it. That's what championships are for. And who says it plays right into what Punk was saying? Does it still play into what he was saying if it was Taker's decision to end his streak at the hands of Lesnar? Surely he's earned the right to choose who does it, yeah? And if ending the streak would have in fact made him stay, then shame on him again. A year plus title reign and ending the streak is what would've kept you around? I call that selfish. But that's speculation anyway. You don't know if that would've kept him around. A year long title run sure didn't do it.

The match sucked, worse way to end the streak, and to a part timer too. When Brock hit a 3rd F5 I had a very bad feeling that was it.

I think people would have an easier time coming to grips with it if the match wasn't quite as horrible... Reminded me a lot of Goldberg/Lesnar honestly.

The next guy to beat Brock (which very well may be Bryan) will get the ultimate rub.
