Also, I definitely have to say, I think anyone saying that ending the streak should have gone to an up and comer like Reigns or Wyatt are 100% wrong. That would have been a horrible idea

Absolutely agree. From the moment that the Streak ended to the closing image of tonight's RAW, almost everything has changed in my eyes. What was the closing image? can someone elaborate for the people who cant watch Raw like myself

Absolutely agree. From the moment that the Streak ended to the closing image of tonight's RAW, almost everything has changed in my eyes. What was the closing image? can someone elaborate for the people who cant watch Raw like myself Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Title was supposed to go down. Batista and Orton came out and beat Daniel Bryan down. Kane came out and delivered a chokeslam to Bryan. Triple H finally makes his way down to the ring. Bell rings and Triple H is gloating and out comes The Shield. The Shield & Batista/Orton/Kane get into a staredown. Triple H is telling to settle down and that they're not gonna do this. Roman Reigns out of nowhere hits Triple H with a spear. Brawl ensues and Bryan hits Triple with the Knee+ The Shield stand tall doing their pose while Bryan is on the top turnbuckle leading the YES! chant. I'm actually not totally sure if the bell even rung.

If there was one great intense back and forth wrestling match then it would have been the best RAW ever.
Regardless it was still one of the best ever and it's hard to most Raws to be super exciting for three hours.

Did I miss something, because I didn't think anything that significant really happened.
The last post WM raw was way better IMO.

People bitch about how everything is so predictable, and how Taker's appearances are getting stale. They end the streak, and shock everyone ,and everyone bitches that they can't end the streak. People are stupid There's just no pleasing the IWC.

I really enjoyed it. I think they have finally grabbed my attention back as a fan. I haven't been a regular watcher of WWE (bar the classics) since 2007, however after Mania and Raw last night I am hooked again. Really exciting time to be a fan IMO. Let's just hope they don't blow it.

To anyone who tries to say that Raw didn't have any one defining "moment", I say look no farther than the final segment of the show, where the young lions (Bryan and The Shield) stood up to the old guard (Evolution and Kane). That in itself was a Raw moment.
Another argument could be made that the entire episode was one huge defining moment for the WWE, because the entire episode was built around showcasing new stars between the debuts of Rusev and Paige, vignettes for Rose and Bo, and strong showings by the Wyatts, the Shield, and of course Bryan being the new champ. Last night was the launching point for the next generation of WWE.

I feel like 10 years from now we'll acknowledge the Cena/PG era from 2007-2011, call Wrestlemania XXX the beginning of the Reality Era and acknowledge 2012-2013 as a weird buffer that some will call the Punk era and some will call the Pre-Reality Era. Kind of like how 2001 is it's own thing and known as the invasion year (ie It's not the Ruthless Aggression era, it's not the Attitude era). I love Punk, but this couldn't have been done without him leaving (And opening a spot for D-Bry), and of course the fans poopting on Batista's RR win. 2001 WWE still were in the Attitude Era. It was advertised as such during the shows and ppv's. Its in the opening segment. WWE were still advertising the Attitude Era throughout 2001 and some if not most of 2002 if memory serves me well. Ive been watching all my old ppvs from that time, still need to get through 2002 but the attitude theme is clearly advertised in the opening segments up until Backlash 2002 atleast.

Did I miss something, because I didn't think anything that significant really happened. The last post WM raw was way better IMO. Depends what you call significant. What of significance happened last year? Ziggler cashing in MITB, Ryback turning heel....what else? And even then, those two moments are fairly insignificant in WWE history. At least this year it felt like big changes were upon us.

It's been a landmark 24 hours in the industry. Some might even say the greatest night in the history of our sport.

Did I miss something, because I didn't think anything that significant really happened. The last post WM raw was way better IMO. Seriously? -Awesome Bryan promo with the crowd giving him the loudest pops we've probably ever heard since the Austin/Rocky Era -Cena starting off the show and never being shown again -Wyatts getting put over and looking strong -Batista/Orton/HHH semi-reforming Evolution -Awesome Heyman promo, probably one of the greatest of all time. He had the crowd in his hand. They were clapping/cheering for him at one point. -Debut promos of Bo Dallas/Adam Rose, NXT Revolution starting to come to fruition -Cesaro's push continuing from WM, and acquiring the greatest mouth piece in the history of the WWE to compliment his amazing in-ring work and charisma -Paige debuting and going over AJ, lackluster match but the fact that they even considered this shows there's a change coming in the divas division -The Authority taking out D-Bry and finally looking like they're ''a group'', with The Shield finally cementing that their badass faces who will back up Bryan. Basically, out with the old..in with the new. What the hell happened last year that even tops 1/3 of what happened last night? A cool Ziggler MITB cash in? An annoying crowd?

WrestleMania DVDs really should start including the RAW after. It's naturally a part of it.

It was absolutely amazing. Reminds me a lot of 2004. Feels like a brand new era. Sucks that it has to end on such a sad note with Warrior's death. My emotions have been ed more times than Asa Akira this week.

The crowd was better than last year imo, definitely louder. Each match had the same amount of sound for the "1-2-3 YEAAH" count as Zigglers cash in last year. Bad News Barretts 3 count on Mysterio was louder in my opinion.

Bad News Barretts 3 count on Mysterio was louder in my opinion. Yup. Barrett got bigger pops than Ziggler did when he cashed in his title and he didn't even do anything significant. The crowd was better than last years post WM Raw, and that was pretty much the only thing that RAW had going for itself (other than the MITB cash in, of course). Again, people, go watch the mid 90s of moments such as Austin 3:16, the birth of the Nation of Domination, DX joining forces for the first time, the dark Taker/Mankind/Kane feud. They had all these elements suggesting that things were going to change in the WWF but they hadn't fully gotten it yet and for the most part kept doing status quo UNTIL the rise of Austin in early 98 (like Bryan early this year) was solidified with Austin beating the previous "top guy" of the New Generation in HBK to win the WWF title and be the undisputed top guy of the company (hell, Bryan beat THREE of the "top guys" from the previous era to win the WWE World title). So, looking back, yeah we had our moments as well (Punk's Pipebomb, Lesnar returning, the rise of Bryan, HHH as COO) but they still did business their way until they HAD to change the shift (Punk walking out next to Bryan's WM title win is like the Montreal Screwjob was to Austin's WM14 WWF title win). It's a new era, folks. I can't see how people don't see it. I hope people three years ago who laughed at people comparing Punk's Pipebomb to Austin 3:16 are now realizing this. Punk was the catalyst, whether he's here or not. Just like Bret was the catalyst with the screwjob.
