I still have all of my Jakks Pacific figures that my father got me for Christmas when I was younger. They're pretty cool figures and held up pretty well.

Thanks for posting this, I spent about an hour surfing around on there and reading the articles. I stopped collecting when Titan Tron live started. I hated the bodies and head sculpts, one of the worst if not the worst time for wrestling figures. I love me some blast from the past.

Yeah me too I quit collecting after buying the first or second sets of TTL. Those are the worst figures I've ever seen. I had all the bca's so I didn't want the change, but GOD were the TTL's ugly. I picked up collecting again around 2005 when CS was in full swing (around series 7 and RA15) and I was hooked. RA's were pieces of art compared to TTL's.

TTL's started out as such garbage before series 4.
Real scan was a HUGE game changer. People like to rip on Jakks, but many of Mattel's head sculpts don't touch Jakks' Real Scan TTL figures.

If I could get complete sets for $71.99 today I'd probably be a complete collector!

Were people pissed about all those Rocks? I collected back then but was only a kid and hadnt discovered the IWC yet. I do remember not having a ring gear Rock forever during the TTL era because they kept releasing him in street gear.

Ya I had an endless amount of street gear rocks but ONE ring gear one and that's the one that came with the SICK "cold day in dudleyville" 3 pack I loved TTL. RA was cool. Then DA just killed it. Never bought one of those figures and never will. It wasn't until 2 years into Mattels brand that I started collecting again.

Then when the House of Pain series came out with ring gear Rock, HHH, and the first ever American Badass Undertaker, I got those and waged wars for hours in my room. Rock even had his Brahma Bull logos on his elbow pads, which he wore on TV at the time. Awesome detail, and still one of the best Undertaker head sculpts there ever was, IMO.
