I made a thread a few months ago about buying a 20 LJN posters off a guy. I thought I was going to keep some and maybe sell a few I didn't like much. Well, I decided to keep them AND buy the rest off him (about 50). I also bought Andre, Warlord & Haku on eBay.
I'm now planning on completing the set, since I only need a dozen or so to do that.
I remember seeing someone post a video showing a near-complete set. I just have a couple questions.
- I know Bret Hard & Jim Neidhart have individual posters, but is there a Hart Foundation poster? - Also, is there a single Killer Bees poster? I have the individual ones - Also, is there a single Strike Force poster? I have the individual ones - Does the same Hulk Hogan poster come with the red shirt and white shirt Hogans? - I've never seen an Ultimate Warrior poster for sale. Is it the rarest LJN poster? - Did the same LJN poster come with the white & blue shirt referees? - Did the same Andre poster come with the long hair and short hair blue trunk Andres? - Did the same Miss Elizabeth poster come with gold & purple skirt Elizabeths?
Thanks, guys.

Hey man, I will do my best to answer your questions. 1. Yes, there is a Hart Foundation tag-team poster. I actually have it in my collection signed by Bret. Hoping to get it signed by Anvil on Saturday. 2. Yes, there is a Killer Bees tag-team poster. They show them carrying the belts although they never won the WWF tag team titles. 3. Yes, there is a Strike Force tag-team "live action" poster. I have it in my collection. 4. The same "live action" poster comes with both the red shirt and white shirt Hogan figures. If it's an '89 card, then it will say '89 on the poster. If it's the "Collector's Edition", then it just comes with the standard "live action" Hogan poster without the '89 on it. 5. Warrior's LJN poster is definitely rare, no question about that, but it does exist. It'll be more in demand now than ever, since he passed. I think the rarest LJN posters are Jake '89 and Macho Man '89. 6. The referee comes with different posters. The blue shirt referee comes with a checklist which shows a various assortment of figures and the newest at that time King Harley Race, Billy Jack Haynes and Outback Jack are on it. The white shirt referee comes with a poster describing various "Famous Wrestling Holds" like Hogan's leg-drop, the body-slam, the suplex and figure 4 leg-lock. 7. The same poster comes with both the long hair and short hair Andre figures. 8. Again, the same poster comes with both Elizabeth figures. This is my Hart Foundation poster before I got it signed by Bret. Even though it looks cut off or whatever, it is not. This is how I scanned it a long time ago. And the "Famous Wrestling Holds" poster for the white shirt referee:

And the "Famous Wrestling Holds" poster for the white shirt referee: Awesome, thanks! I have the wrestling maneuvers poster, but not the checklist. I think the only live-action posters I need now is the Strike Force, Ultimate Warrior, Rick Rude and Boss Man. The blue background posters I need (off the top of my head) - Hart Foundation, Brett Hart (typo intended), Jim Neidhart, Killer Bees, Jesse Ventura, the first Hulk, panther shirt Piper, Jake the Snake, Hillbilly Jim, and British Bulldogs (because the one I have is beat up). I wasn't planning on collecting these, but the deal was too good to pass up. I need to find a binder that fits them w/o the tops stick out and getting damaged.

I had no idea the Dream Team had a tag team poster. Do Hogan/Hillbilly Jim or Sheik/Volkoff have a tag poster? Do the British Bulldogs have individual posters?

Yep, both Sheik/Volkoff and Hogan/Hillbilly both have tag-team posters as well. It is rare to find pics of them, but here they are. Best I could find.

I had to dig them out, but here are my pics of two very rare WWF LJN tag-team posters. I've had these since I was a kid and of course they are not mint. I'm just glad they are in as good of shape as they are for being nearly 30 years old. Strike Force: The Hart Foundation:

You are seriously blowing my mind with this knowledge. I really had no idea about the Jim/Hogan and Sheik/Volkoff posters.

If you have all of these posters, rather than just the photos of them, that is some collection.

The british bulldogs did not come with individual posters. From my understanding they came with hogan series 1 posters. Like everyone already said the re-released black card posters like jake, macho man, ax, and honky tonk man are nearly impossible to find. Warrior was probably the toughest of the main line. I have the whole set of posters minus the checklist which I bought but came to find out it was a copy of the original. I have ax 89' poster but only seen the other 3 once each. And I have been collecting them for at least 10 years.

I have to wonder if WWF HQ got word to LJN that Hart Foundation in pink would be the big thing. Their bio cards have the red pants, their posters do as seen above and up until mid to late 86 they were still wearing black on black with a colored stripe on the pants yet, for as long as it took LJN to come out with the toys, the pink/purple pants HF were produced rather quickly.
I always enjoy seeing the major checklist with all the toys produced up to 1987. Only ones not on there are Bulldogs, Snuka (long gone) and Sheik (probably just fired).

He came with the British Bulldogs tag poster. It was folded width wise to the dimensions of a single poster and the rolled to fit. I remember being pretty ticked as a kid because the poster was in horrible condition. Later I got the single card Davey Boy and was even more ticked when he didn't even come with a poster....lol.

As I said, I would get my WWF LJN Hart Foundation Tag-team poster signed by Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart today and here it is: The box set goes for between $1500 and $2000 depending on the condition. So, I'm assuming a signed poster HAS to be worth a bit as well. A lot of people didn't keep the posters. They threw them away. Thank God, I kept this poster. So glad to have it signed by both now.

Hell yeah! Where did you get it signed at? I think C2E2 in Chicago is this weekend or next. I think a bunch of wrestlers are supposed to be there. I hope to go next year.

I got it signed in Toronto at GTA Comic Con. Jim Neidhart was appearing there and signing autographs for FREE with the price of admission and even that was only $10. I got like 5 different items signed by "The Anvil". www.gtacomiccon.com/

I bought the Jim Neidhart LJN in my collection from Neidhart's neighbor in Florida. I guess he gave all his neighbors old wrestling figures of him.

An Ultimate Warrior LJN poster, card back & figure sold on eBay last night for $300+. I know the poster is super rare, but is it worth the $200 increase on top of the $100 figure?
