Why?! They have nothing WWE wants. For a low enough price, they'd definitely snatch up TNA, just to get the tape library. But it would likely have to be a small price, I wouldn't see them forking over a large sum. Why would they want the TNA library? WWE doesnt want The Chikara library...I cant see them wanting TNA either.

They have the fantastic old library. And Hardy. Exactly. Nothing that the WWE would want to spend money on. Haha, I guess man. I think they would buy TNA for peanuts honestly...perhaps for certain talent...who knows.

There's enough talent from WWE that have had runs in TNA, that I could easily see them wanting the library if they ever could get it. Three that come right to mind would be Hardy, Angle and Sting.

I am sure that Spike is working hard behind the scenes to bring over as much WWE content as they can. If they can land the WWE they will have no need for Dixie Carter and her piss poor promotion. This could end up being TNN and ECW all over again.
I honestly hope that Spike gets WWE or at the very least they drop TNA for Jarrett's new promotion.

Seems to me all this stalling is because of what you said. Otherwise the deal would have been sorted by now. Hope GFW gets a tv deal.

Honestly, I can see them wanting the TNA library just for the footage of the guys they have on their roster that were in TNA. They could do a before they were WWE superstars sort of thing on the Network. At the same time, I kinda echo what you said about the TNA library.

The problem with all your theories is that WWE would then acknowledge TNA as a legit player in pro wrestling. If they want Hardy footage, why not acquire the OMEGA library? I just dont think there is anything WWE needs nor wants.

Sting TNA was not anything special.

To show matches the same matches and storylines that's already been on wwe?

If you're doing a DVD about a career, and a big chunk of a wrestler's time is in a certain place, you're going to want that. You have Sting, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Team 3D, Mick Foley and Rob Van Dam, who all have put time in TNA. All of them had major storylines in TNA, and if guys like Angle and Hardy come back to WWE, and they do career DVDs on them, it's odd, when you have a gap of several years in the story

I'd even guess most wresters would want that footage deleted from the files lol. Most of these big wrestlers that are worth anything to wwe have either had long successes in wwe or other, less embarassing companies.

If they thought SMW was something to buy, I'm pretty sure they'd buy TNA too.

Yeah hopefully this happens. smh Calling TNA an alternative implies that they present an alternative product to what WWE presents and we both know they don't.
