I'd drive up to Tampa for the PPV if that were going to happen.

Outside of Taker/Sting, has there been a longer running rumor about something that's so close to happening?

War Games is so overrated. This is another situation of people wanting something just because they think Vince will never do it. Trust me, if it happens, you won't like it. With the right people it will work. Watch the first 2 Wargames and tell me that it is over rated.

Not to mention War Games almost never produced a quality match. Almost everyone that wants it back has never seen it in action. It's stupid. Dangerous Alliance vs Stings Squadron would beg to differ. It was actually given a 5 star rating by Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. War Games isnt suppose to be "technical wrestling match" its a brawl to blow off a feud. Im disappointed if I see a wrist lock in War Games. Horsemen vs Dudes with Attitudes was also a great War Games match but had a bad ending. My personal favorite will always be the first one with The Horsemen vs Dusty, Nikita, Road Warriors & Ellering. War Games, if done right, is and can be an amazing match. I dont trust "Family friendly" WWE to be able to pull it off right though. F*ckin A1 post there Nivro.

I thought War Games and World War 3 were extremely poor concepts. I might be alone on that. Poor execution, great concept IMO.

It'll eventually happen. It would be a brand new concept to many so that it builds enough intrigue. Isn't that what they want?

I think Vince's aversion to it was the two rings thing . . I mean they could always do a team hell in a call match . . . but I think the two rings is what made it cool

Wrestling is all about spectacle and gimmicks, there is no greater spectacle and gimmick than the War Games match.
It does not surprise me that newbies don't see it this way though, and would prefer scientific matches between generic wrestler #38 vs Indy Sensation #4, that or just have 8 random midcarders fall off ladders.

I don't like when they rehash on wcw stuff. Like bringing bringing back the GAB and that eventually dissapeared. Come up with something new and fresh. War Games were always a complete mess tbh.

I'm not sure WWE need to do it really. I do like War Games though.
