Source: Daily Wrestling News dailywrestlingnews.com/details-two-wwe-heel-turns-works/WWE officials continue to have discussions about turning Sheamus heel. The plan was for him to turn heel earlier this year, shortly after his return, and face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX but several plans were changed around when CM Punk walked out. On a related note, it’s said that Vince McMahon ultimately wants Cody Rhodes as a heel, which is the reason for the dissension with brother Goldust.

Cody Rhodes has VASTLY improved the past year or two, and I'd be interested in seeing a heel run now. Maybe with the US Title to give it some relevance, again.
I have really enjoyed he and Goldust together, but a heel turn intrigues me.
Sheamus is kind of surprising. He seems to be over big with the kids right now. Idk if I'd jump on turning him so quickly. Not only that, but out of all the "stale" superstars -- he's been delivering some damn fine matches since he came back. Cena, Orton, etc...meh. But Sheamus? His matches have consistently been getting "This is Awesome" chants (and that match with Barrett WAS very awesome)...hard to say if he'd be good as a heel right now.
The 2 main titles being unified changes so much of how I view decisions like this now. :/

Sheamus is one of my favourites in the WWE right now, I'd rather have him as a face.

I'm not a fan of Sheamus but I'm intrigued by a heel turn. He is super over with the kids though so it's interesting to see how they'll handle it.
Cody Rhodes is a natural heel. Definitely better for him.

I wouldn't turn Sheamus flat out heel. I would just give the character back his edge and do away with all the smiley sh*te. He has been delivering consistently in ring and is one of WWE's freshest workers at the moment.
I do feel a heel turn for Cody is in his best interests though.

I'm thinking we will get Goldust vs Cody Rhodes at summerslam.

It was awesome when sheamus was heel (he destroyed John Cena!). He sucks as a face imo.. A heel turn for Cody Rhodes would be good as well.

I like Sheamus as a face, just make him a more dominant one. As said before Rhodes is just a natural heel and I'm very intrigued to see that turn occur.

If Big E beats Barrett at Extreme Rules, then Cody HAS to beat him later on. Have him hold it for a year, maybe even have him defend against Goldust. That'd be amazing.
Sheamus I can care less about.

Let heel Cody win the US Title from Ambrose then!
That poor belt is never used used so Cody could bring more awareness to it and you know actually defend it in storylines...

This intrigues me. Both did their best work as heels, a return to that would be a welcome change for them.

Sheamus doesn't need to be a heel, just needs to stop being all jokey & go back to being an arse kicker.
Hope Cody goes back to being 'Dashing'.

Good! Both should be heels. Cody does better work as a heel. And Sheamus needs a change. He belongs on top, but there are too many faces in his way.

Cody Rhodeth as a singles wrestler again seems like a gamble... Especially after months of just doing nothing substantial. I can see it failing again and him being in another tag team a year later. That said, he's shown a lot of personality on The JBL and Cole Show so maybe it'll click this time.
Sheamus as a heel is a good move, I think. He's one of the best in-ring guys in the world, but his character isn't clicking. It's hard to care about anything he does, and part of that is that he's already wrestled Barrett/Del Rio/Cesaro/Sandow/Christian etc a million times. A change could do him good. He could be hand-picked by HHH to face Bryan for the title, but he'd need a good month or two at least of credibility rehabbing (ie wins) to look like anything other than a stopgap contender.

I don't care for Sheamus, but that brogue kick is insanely painful looking...I prefer him as a face that loses clean to heels though
Cody, Cody, Cody...heel, face, who cares -- just let the guy main event already; after Bryan gets a good run, I hope Cody is champ

Rhodes is among the best talent WWE has at the moment, I hope a heel turn also leads to a main-event/WWE title push. I'll take a Bryan-style "slow burn", I don't care- push Rhodes to win the 2015 Rumble.
