Daniel Radcliffe saying in a recent interview that he'd "be perfect" for Robin in this new era of Batman.. I'm okay with that. I think Radcliffe has more than enough to be in the new DC Universe.. Really good question though, who would you guys like to see take on the role of Robin? Depends on "which" Robin... Zac Efron wouldn't be a terrible Robin...Damian Wayne "daddy complex" nonsense... Radcliffe wouldn't be bad, but he'd need to bulk considerably... I'd rather see Nightwing at this point. Give us a Dick Grayson in his late 20s early 30s...

But I'd like to see a proper Robin. I think Robin can work well if the part is written right and the right actor plays him. The way I feel about 'Justice League' casting right now is, anything goes, because it is what it is.. So it, give me Matt Damon.

I bought that he was seeking revenge, and that he could hold his own, etc...in Forever... BnR was like "let's make him a whiny teenager instead, the kids buying our toys need someone to relate too!" Seeing another "proper" Robin would be cool, though. I particularly like the thought of them going with Damian Wayne...that way Nightwing and Red Hood already theoretically exist...

I particularly like the thought of them going with Damian Wayne...that way Nightwing and Red Hood already theoretically exist... I really wasn't a big fan of O'Donnell, he was okay.. For what Batman was at thetime. But I've always felt "meh" about it. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt kinda did something else, but I think would have been great as Nightwing.. So I think the character of Robin in the upcoming films can hopefully have a better representation. If they even decide to put him in the new DC Movie-verse at all. I'd like to think they will. I for one would enjoy the solo Batman movie if it was like a buddy cop movie with Affleck as Batman and Damon as Robin.. It would be so dope! Could you imagine that moment in the movie when like The Joker or The Riddler catch Batman off guard with their clever word play, and in swings Matt Damon's Robin, standing up for The Batman and calling those clowns out for once again regurgitating Gordon Wood. He superkicks The Riddler off a roof and then glances over at a nearly defeated Bruce Wayne only to say "how do you like DEM apples, Wayne". Matt Damon all the way.

I want to but I don't think I could take Daniel Radcliffe seriously as Robin. Every time I saw him I'd think Harry Potter.

I'm very eager to hear who they cast as GL & Flash....which should be announced soon enough if both are to cameo in SvsB as is rumoured.
If it wasn't for Gadot as WW I would be 100% excited as f*ck for this movie.

Principal photography on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is well underway in Michigan, with potentially spoiler-heavy scenes being filmed just yesterday, but a new cast member has just been revealed. According to Deadline, actor Scoot McNairy is joining the Zack Snyder-directed film in an unspecified role that "nobody at Warner Bros. will confirm." That's pretty much all the info provided for the last-minute casting, but it seems possible that McNairy could be playing an established DC character that could become pivotal in the Justice League movie, like a few other Dawn of Justice cast members. Anyhow, Batman v Superman will reteam Scoot McNairy with his Argo director and co-star Ben Affleck, and the versatile actor also had roles in 12 Years a Slave, and Marvel's Thor: The Dark World Blu-ray short film All Hail the King. What do you think? UPDATE: Could Scoot McNairy be playing Nightwing? That is at least what Latino Review scooper El Mayimbe is insinuating via Twitter. Richard Grayson was among the first characters rumored to play a minor role in Batman v Superman before appearing full-fledged in Justice League while actor Adam Driver, who has since joined Star Wars: Episode VII, was linked to the role. Also, Deadline's scoop has also been confirmed by The Wrap, whose sources are "sworn to secrecy" regarding McNairy's role. Speculation says he's playing The Flash on the big-screen, but what do you think? Read more at www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=102611#mGahT3U7tQj3PA0y.99Nightwing? Flash? Hmmm....

Hmmm.... I see him more as Flash than Nightwing, but either way, he doesn't have the 'heroic look', imo. I'm fine with them casting against type, of course, they did it with JGL in TDKR and I was cool with it. All the other pretty boy teenbopper suggestions for Robin have made my stomach hurt. I would like to see Lee Pace, Josh Hartnett or Jake Gyllenhaal fill those shoes, if they're to go with an older Nightwing.

Yep this looks like it's going to be inspired by the Dark Knight Returns. Best image of Supe's I could find here. Cavill's hair seems to have bits of grey on the sides which looks almost identical to "Kingdom Come Superman." Kingdom Come is a much darker twist on the story, and includes some grotesque stuff that effects Superman as a character. The Superman in this film is going to be older, possibly setting up a fight, or it may even be an alternate reality fight. My guess is we'll get a cross between "The Dark Knight: Returns" and "Thy-Kingdom Come."

I genuinely hope The Dark Knight Returns plays NO part in this movies story whatsoever. Ditto for Kingdom Come.
I don't want old man cripple Batman-we had that in DKR with Nolan and it f*ckin blew that Batman was a wreck and inactive for 8 years.
I want Batman as an experienced crimefighter in his physical prime at the height of his career not some codger coming out of retirement to face Superman.......but I seem to be the only one that wants this.
Also all these rumors are worrying. I hope you know what your doing Goyer. I need to hear something concrete from DC/WB @ SDCC. Part of me still cant believe this is 2 years away. I keep thinking its out next summer.

I agree I want nothing to do with Kingdom Come or TDKR.
I want Superman in his prime and Bats in his prime. And I want the best team up we can get.
It would be stupid for this to lead into justice league and have them both be old. Makes no bloody sense.
SDCC better am have some goods and better give us something to believe in!

Also it has just dawned on me.....Batfleck will be 47 in 2019 when the first Solo bat movie is due......I know Downey jr was 43 in 2008 when IM hit but the suit covers Downeys age well. ah well I guess we will have to wait and see.
