Brosnan as Batman is almost as bad as Burton wanting Nic Cage for Superman. lol

No way Cage would've sucked as Supes only because God was upset when he was molding his hairline.

An Irish Batman? I LOVE it!!!! LOL....genuinely though? I'm not really sure. Just so used to Keaton in that role for those 2 movies.....so hard for me to picture anyone else in them ya know? I'm with ya mate. I'd have loved this. Keaton was great, but can you just imagine how good Pierce could have been! He also had to turn down being 007(Dalton got the gig instead)in the late 80s because of his TV show Remington Steele.

That's a good point. And Brosnan as Batman probably means no Brosnan as Bond... since he was my favorite Bond, I think I'll just take that as a fair tradeoff.

Both directed by Martin Campbell too!! So yeah Brosnan as Bond will always win to me too.

The website The Devils Eyes claims to have received some info from an extra on the set of Zack Snyder's currently shooting Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, pertaining to the character Monsters actor Scoot McNairy will play in the film. When those odd pics of McNairy appeared online, many assumed he'd be The Flash because he had CG friendly green socks on, and The Flash...runs fast? There's also been rumors that he could be playing the likes of Metallo or Dr. Will Magnus. Well, it seems the theory that he'd be portraying someone who lost his legs in the battle of Metropolis is the most accurate -- though that someone WILL apparently be an established DC character. "Scoot is playing Jimmy Olsen, but with a bit of a twist. Jimmy was injured during the battle of Zod vs Superman. His legs where pinned under falling building rubble and that caused him to lose the legs. He now walks with the use of two prosthetic legs." The source goes on to add "He doesn't blame Superman for it [his loss of legs]. He feels grateful that Superman saved the world." Maybe not quite as cool as some of the other possibilities, but it'll be nice to have Jimmy Olsen make an appearance, and this sounds like a very interesting way to introduce his character. Of course we don't know for certain if this is on the level, but it does seem like the most logical explanation for those snazzy socks at the very least. Thoughts? What a wat of Scoot and his talents if this is for real!
I don't believe it is because Scoot said he'd hoped to be in the DCU for a long time and he's too old to play Jimmy. Also didn't they introduce a Jenny Olsen in MOS?
Yeah this report has to be rubbish. Doesn't make a lick of bloody sense.

Hmm yeah....I'm not too pushed on that either. But then again I'm not too pushed on any of this to be honest. I'm having serious trouble getting excited about it.
I need a trailer but then I remember this movie is 2016 and not next year.

Netflix Buys Rights To GOTHAM In Huge Deal Ahead Of Season One Premiere
Deadline reports that Netflix have reached a deal with Warner Bros. and Fox to exclusively feature Gotham on the online streaming service once series has finished airing on TV. This is actually the first time such an agreement has been made before a single episode of a show has aired, a sign perhaps that everyone involved are confident that Gotham will be a success. Netflix have actually paid $1.75 million for each one, and it's expected to debut there in September 2015, before the possible season two premiere (Fox have obviously not committed to this yet). This isn't just for the US either, so you can look forward to reliving the Batman prequel wherever you may be in the world once the first run of episodes wrap up next year.
"While we typically license our programming country by country, we have licensed this very special series to Netflix on a multi-territory basis," WBWTD president Jeffrey R. Schlesinger said in a statement today. "Netflix is a perfect home for Gotham following its initial broadcast in each respective country, giving Netflix subscribers the opportunity to catch-up prior to the new season, whether they’re already fans or discovering it for the first time." Ted Sarandos, chief content officer at Netflix, adds: "Gotham is the most anticipated new series of the fall season and we are thrilled to offer it to our members around the world. The Batman origin story is sure to have massive global appeal so it is fitting that, along with Warner Television, we have created a new model for distributing a show that international and domestic audiences will love."
WOAH!

Rewatched 'Killing Them Softly' last night and I completely changed my tune on McNairy playing The Flash.. He absolutely has the ability and personality to pull him off.. He's still a small guy tho.
I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for Charlie Hunnam.. I might be dreaming, but goddamn that would be so cool.

The Rock just announced that he'll be playing Black Adam! That's a nice piece of casting......its better(IMO) than Rock playing Captain Marvel/Shazam. I wonder who will get that role?

If WB is smart they'd go after Chandler Riggs (sp?) for Billy Batson. They need to get someone young who a lot of people already know.

I'm sure that will pass but at the moment its where its at.

I'm not particularly looking forward to any of them to be honest. WB wants their DC movies to be dark and gritty, the only character that fits is Batman. Them shoehorning the entire DCCU into that tone really bothers me.

Aha I'm currently playing Injustice and thought that Black Adam's alternate skin looked like The Rock. That's just good casting.

Rock as black Adam is awesome......... But for years I have wanted him to play cyborg when I think cyborg in a live action movie I think of the rock. Still we all know he will be amazing as black Adam.

Liam Neeson said he'd be down to reprise his role as Ra's Al Ghul in CW's Arrow series.
