I think what the issue is with Affleck is he's not happy with the new script and WB is thinking long term with Batman.. They feel like they backed themselves into a corner by having an older seasoned Batman. By the time a SEQUEL to The Batman comes out Ben Affleck would probably be in his mid 50s. I don't see the problem, and honestly hope it's all bullsh*t.. Outside of Aquaman, the only positive thing I see with DCEU is Affleck's Batman. Affleck said he loves the new script, and loves the fact that Reeves is directing instead of him. I understand, but my response to that is that Ben Affleck is a pretty good actor.. Where there's smoke there's usually fire.. He's not going to confirm things like this at Comic Con when they need him to excite people for Justice League.. I'm sure Justice League box office would take a hit if people found out Affleck is out as Batman after Justice League. Hard to sell people on universe building when the main actor propelling the entire Universe is done with the franchise.. Especially someone like Ben Affleck. |

That trailer WAS SO MUCH BETTER than anything I've seen from WB.
So so happy they've abandoned the dark gritty color grade.. It looked more colorful but not distractingly colorful.
That was honest to God a real solid sell on the Justice League.

Big speculation that it's Hal Jordan that Alfred is talking to at the end. The sound effects gave it away to some people apparently. Not sure what I believe, I'm just hyped for November now.

Now that they mention Hal, I can kinda see green in the reflection in Alfred's glasses. But I might be seeing what I wanna see at this point.

The trailer looked pretty good. Between this trailer and the success of Wonder Woman I'll remain cautiously optimistic for this. I still wish they had done some more solo movies first but too late for that now.

I thought the trailer was alright. I can't help but feel Flash is gonna be even worse than I anticipated; everything about him in the trailer made me cringe.

Holy crapI just had a markout moment...That looks so  ing awesome. When Steppenwolf says "No Lanterns...No Krytonian" I lost my shit. Then Superman at the end in the Batcave with Alfred (you can clearly see his red cape)....Damnit, this is just another reason why November is my favorite month |

Trailer renewed my hope for this film. Hyped again.
And I'm praying that Affleck is telling the truth that he wants to stay. He's perfect for Bruce Wayne/Batman and it would be a travesty to see him bow out without getting his own film (he was he only bright spot in BvS).

SDCC made me slightly more optimistic that Affleck is sticking around, but I'm in "I'll believe it when I see it" as far as him starring in The Batman... announce the start of production and I'll believe. But I really hope he can make it work. He's so likable as Bruce/Batman, even if almost everything around him has sucked.

Aquaman teaser was shown. Described as "Star Wars under water!" What Star Wars? The astonishing trilogy with Sherlock Holmes, Indiana Jones and The Joker starring as Tarkin, Solo and Luke themselves respectively or the prequel-$hit nobody needs? If the latter is the case, then only Amber Heard herself may save that movie from being a total disaster. We don't need another "Attack of the returning Sith Clones " to be honest... |

Flash is horrible. His stuff has all been garbage so far. Wrong actor, bad suit, horrible dialogue. Great. If they retcon Affleck out with Flashpoint, I'm totally done with WB. They've made a ing mess and I've suffered through it with the Batman as the light at the end of the tunnel. If that's not happening with Affleck then I'll spend my money on something else, like setting it on fire, as that would be more entertaining. |

I have said since the moment Whedon took over from Snyder that the trailer Joss could deliver would likely get people pumped for this again. I was 100% right. That trailer is pure Whedon. |
