I sincerely want to believe that if this were an Elsewords Joker graphic novel, people would start to eat it up. I think this will catch on once the actual plot is released.
So far all we really know is some rumor that the Joker is supposedly Thomas Wayne's bastard son and that its a love letter to another movie. (Which imo 'The King of Comedy' really doesn't get a lot of recognition. But, its a solid movie and a solid black comedy.)
I really do like the look. Its different and my boi JP is a more than capable enough actor to pull it off.

I’m lolling at the people who want Jon Hamm to be the next Batman. People complained that Affleck was too old yet Hamm is even older.
It’s a shame that Ben hasn’t been able to overcome his addictions. Despite the crap movies he turned out to be he best live action Wayne/Batman IMO. His dedication to BvS was crazy.
Putting age aside I simply don’t see Hamm in the Batman role, similar to not seeing Gyllenhal in the role either. Neither seems to fit to me and if it is recasted just go with someone in their early 30s.
I honestly feel though that Batman and Superman should be shelved for a while with all this turmoil and give fans time to breath. Bring me back in 5-10 years with a fresh slate.

I can't stop watching that 30 second "teaser". I'm totally enthralled with this look. I wonder if Joaquin did the make-up himself like Ledger did with his.

Soooo the Black Canary is.......Black? I give up. I actually would have preferred that they make Huntress black. She was black in the Grayson solo series, and I really dug her character there. They could have even tied in Spyral and all the secret agent craptoo. |

I see that here in the UK, Netflix has picked up the Titans TV show. I am actually quite looking forward to this. I have gotten over how different Star Fire looks lol. Who do you think the villain of this first series will be? In the new trailer that Netflix released it looks like there is someone who could be Trigon. While Slade is the obvious choice for the main villain I am not sure how that would fit with the DC movie universe as he was clearly planned to be in the next movie. Plus I really liked the dude who as Deathstroke in Arrow so I would probably have a hard time getting used to a new actor.

Sound piece of casting. Unlike the Black Canary scenario...if they are going to go this route why not use Vixen? I just do not understand. Same with Smith in Suicide Squad. Now I have just witnessed the extended Aquaman trailer......and damn that looks like a good movie. Trailers have been great.... I have always had faith in it because of James Wan. He stood his ground with the studio. When they pushed him on universe building? He walked. They got him back and tried pushing him again and he won out. I think he is probably going to deliver the best DCCU movie thus far. |

I absolutely love watching the feature length pilot of BB & ROTJ back to back. LOVE IT. Loved the Justice League eps too.
Looking back? Hasbro really dropped the ball with that toyline
