I like the trailer. I think it'll be a great movie. Much better than the few DC movies that came out recently. Or the ones I saw anyways. I didn't see Wonder Woman or Suicide Squad but saw the rest. Not a fan of that Aquaman movie. It'll be a good movie but it's not the Joker. Joker has no origin and shouldn't have one. |

Shazam wasn't for me at all.....big step backwards from Aquaman IMO. I liked it a lot better than Aquaman. I think Aquaman is the 2nd worst of the DCEU movies, above only Suicide Squad. Shazam reminded me of an 80s fantasy movie with a MacGuffin (the staff), a weird wizard and a bunch of misfit kids. I think it's my favorite DC movie since The Dark Knight. Maybe even since Batman Begins or Superman Returns. |

DC really really needs to just scrap all plans, take about 2-3 years off and do a complete and total reboot. The only name Id keep is Margot Robbie for Harley...Id completely recast the entire Universe and I would slow build and stop rushing & cluster  ing things out to try and catch up with Marvel. Marvel is losing its "big names" like Captain America and Iron Man etc and I dont think the next phase of Marvel movies will be *as good* as the first phases. This is the time for DC to do the right thing. They're not going to be up against Iron Man or Avengers. They can put their big guns up against Captain Marvel or lesser known marvel characters. |

I think Pattinson will be good as Batman. however DC/WB has wounded me to the extent that I don't give a sh*t about the movies now.
I remember being excited to hear about Bale & Affleck getting cast as one of my fave characters EVER. I remember being excited about loads of stuff from Afflecks Bats story....Joker having killed Robin, Lets Joker...Quinn/Robbie the sequence in SSquad.
Maybe Ill get excited again but man it'll take time....

Checked out the first episode of Swamp Thing and thought it was excellent. I've been a Swamp Thing fan since the early 90s between the Kenner toys and the original live action show. Thought the environment was aesthetically creepy, the world felt gritty and serious, and they nailed Alec's dryness right out of the gate. Can't wait to see more. I didn't realize DC released this stuff weekly, but I'll check out Doom Patrol in the meantime.
