Seent the flash earlier today. I still don't know what to think. I absolutely loathe that ending. I loved the cameo. But hated the ending because it made no sense to have whoever there at the end with Ezra. Barry moved the can of tomatoes to a different shelf before going back to “his timeline.” Because he still altered reality, even slightly, the result was the cameo at the end. Not a fan of this if it truly is how the Snyderverse characters go out. Could have easily had Barry reset everything to how it was and let these characters go on as normal in their own uniervse.

Flash was alright. Nothing crazy but the cameos were pretty cool. Young Barry was super annoying, to the point I almost stopped watching the movie

Fun movie. We laughed quite a bit and there were a couple times it got me in the feels
Only expectation I had was seeing Keaton suit up one more time and they did it justice. I hated seeing him die.. twice.. but it is what it is

Not a huge DC guy, been trying to get into it more lately but really enjoyed the movie. I can see why die hard fans might have issues but it worked for me for what i wanted to get out of it. Will agree with what others said young Barry was awful.

The original ending they shot for the movie gave a more satisfying ending for Keaton. What we got was the third version of the ending that they shot. I’ll have to look into that ending and see what it was. More satisfying sounds better Spoilers for anyone who hasn’t seen the film yet… There were three separate endings shot for this movie. What we saw is what Gunn came up with when he took over DC Films. 1. Flash goes back and fixes his mistake, but still moves the tomatoes to the top shelf to save his dad. The result is the same courthouse scene we saw, but he is greeted by Keaton and Supergirl, showing that the timelines still merged but Zod was defeated in this universe by Superman. Keaton was suppose to continue on as Batman in this universe and appear in the cancelled Batgirl as her mentor. Keaton also shot a post-credits scene for Aquaman 2. 2. A second ending was shot when it was announced Cavill was back following Black Adam. The same ending as above was shot, but included Cavill Superman and Gadot Wonder Woman to show that they were still around in this new universe, with the only big different being Keaton taking over for Affleck. In addition to this, Affleck also shot a post-credits scene where he reached out to Barry via a computer while wearing the knightmare suit, saying Barry needs to “find them.” This was to tease a future JL movie. Affleck also shot a new post-credits scene for Aquaman 2 (basically reshooting the scene Keaton shot above). 3. Gunn took over, fired Cavill and basically announced everything will be reset following Aquaman 2. Because of this, they reshot the ending for The Flash again with the Clooney cameo. This leaves it ambiguous as to what happens to Keaton and Supergirl, but it’s heavily implied that the Burtonverse basically ends due to Zod which is a huge bummer. The Affleck cameo was removed (and rumored that his Aquaman scene was too). Essentially the ending to The Flash ends the Snyderverse on a sour note. Flash is stuck in the Clooney universe, and because he’s here and not in the Snyderverse, it’s assumed the JL lost to Stepenwolf due to Barry not being there to go back in time to save them during the final battle..

Overall I enjoyed the Flash. One particular cameo made me squeal like a girl. That said, half was through it I wondered what if Nathan Fielder was playing Barry Allen, and that thought never left my mind.
Also I may be alone but I’m perfectly fine with the death of the Snyderverse. I didn’t like Cavill as Superman. I didn’t like Snyder’s movies. I don’t care about Cyborg one way or another.

I never much cared for Superman so I don’t have an attachment to Cavill and if I’m being honest, he was boring. Superman has always been boring. And Cavill didn’t change that. I also wasn’t a big fan of any of the Snyder movies. I’m not gonna sit here and say I’m over the moon with the direction James Gunn is taking DC but I’m A okay with the Snyder verse being done.

I don't think anybody gives one chocolate f*ck about Cyborg. If they do? I haven't met them yet.....he has always felt super forced as Martian Manhunters replacement in the big 7 in the comics.

I’m admittedly not the biggest comic book reader, but to me Cyborg was a character I’d relate to Teen Titans. Even still, I didn’t care about his arc at all. Boring as all hell.

WB on course to lose 200 million on Flash. Holy sh#t. Analysts say it would have worked out cheaper to NOT release it at all.
Whoa 😳

Whoa 😳 That’s what happens when you tell the public the movie doesn’t matter. I’m convinced it’s why Shazam bombed, this bombed, blue beetle is gonna bomb and Aquaman is gonna bomb. You told people you don’t need to watch these, they aren’t important.

Whoa 😳 Too bad cause I thought the film was solid and better than some of the recent Marvel offerings (ignoring the horrible CGI). This is what happens when Gunn is allowed to announce nothing matters a year before the final DCU film releases. General audiences have no reason to pay money to see a movie that is going nowhere. The fact that Ezra Miller is the star and WB has mismanaged this franchise for 10 years doesn’t help either. Crazy to think that both Cavill and Affleck wanted out in 2017 due to WBs mismanaging of the franchise, yet both seems interesting in returning in 2022 before Gunn put the kibash on everything. In 10 years there needs to be a tell all from the creators and actors of the DCU after the mess WB made.

Gunn said you didn't have to see any movie prior to The Flash to enjoy it. I don't know how true that is because I haven't seen The Flash or a lot of DC films to be honest because I again I hate Snyder, never cared for Flash or Auqaman. But we know that stand alone movies can be successful. DC knows this. They had two with Joker and The Batman. So a movie with no connection to a "universe" can be done. I just don't know anyone that had Blue Beetle high on their wish list of movies DC should do. But then again the same could be said about the ones that I wish they would do.
