WWE has released some "evolution" superstar "plaques". There's nothing special with them. For $90 you get 5 small photos in a frame... But, I noticed Cena's plaque is very lopsided. Those are really lame. Reminds me of those plaques you can buy at sports collectible stores with like 5 baseball cards.

I don't think it's an attempt at anything just Cena hasn't really changed from 2006 to now. But why include pics from both 2005 and 2006? They were during his same (and first) title reign. Why not choose something more spread out, like from 2009 or something? |

His character is essentially the same, no reason to display the same pictures if there wasn't a dramatic change (protoype->thuganomics->chaingang->hustle,loyalty,respect) which is pretty much how they have it here. I agree though these look very stupid, especially for $90. I could see if it was autographed, but no way its worth it as is. |

I was interested when I heard about these, but the fact that they aren't even signed absolutely killed my interest. Include that or a piece of ring worn gear. Something to make it look better.

They skipped about 10 years in Hogan's. They skipped about 9 in Taker's. They skipped about 9 or 10 in Shawn's.
So obviously they're trying to make Cena look good.

IT'S 5 PHOTOS! Obviously it will be a bit lopsided. Capturing 20 for Hogan or Austin in 5 photos?
Yeah it's not meant to be an expansive all encompassing photo pictorial of ones entire career.

Actually, the first picture in Undertaker's plaque skips about 4 to 6 years since he first wore the purple gloves in Summerslam 1994 until IYH:Buried Alive. The plaques look nice, especially Undertaker's. If the plaques were signed, I believe $89.99 would be a great deal, a steal even. Since they aren't, the asking price of $89.99 isn't worth it. |
