Just a thought, but I don't think Balor should lose with the paint until it's properly built. If that means some specials without it, so be it, but that paint should be a huge deal like they're beating a monster.

It would appear WWE will only be using Younger as a ref. Shame. They could have done something where Owens continually disrespects him to the point where he snaps and attacks him, setting up a match between Wuertz and Owens for the title. I had an idea earlier....its pretty unrealistic but hear me out on this one. Rumor has it that NXT is running the ECW arena soon. Anyone that knows Drakes story knows that those fans are arguably his biggest fanbase because it is whwre he really broke out with CZW. I have a feeling he will get some type of crazy reaction or standing ovation type deal. My only hope is that Triple H or whoever is running things that night see's this and thinks what the hell lets give him a shot. Probably won't happen but he'll get a solid show of respect when they work the arena either way.

Cheers man, the way they've built the paint up already has just been awesome and I truly hope it continues.

As I said to a friend:
That Hideo tribute was awesome. Sadly, it's their way of showing they notice he isn't as over as Bálor.

They're building two completely different characters. WWE was smart to not blow Bálor's debut on the pre-show of Wrestlemania. Hideo was the perfect candidate for the match.

It was most definitely the case. The point of that video was to garner hype and more interest in Hideo Itami. Same way they had hoped giving Ryback a live mic would garner more interest in the "character".

But considering Balor works the same style either way, the look is really the only difference. I dont think the announcers should make a big deal about the paint, outside of him adding a special treat to whatever event he busts it out at. It would appear WWE will only be using Younger as a ref. Shame. That rumor was also attached to the weekend of May 15 and 16 I think. And the arena has an MMA show on the 16th now. In addition, considering NXT just did like 7000 people, even if it was at WM, I am thinking they are gonna wanna use something bigger. NXT might not be a show with Cena, Orton, etc. but its still WWE owned. I cant imagine WWE wanting to run in a dump like the Arena.

Great episode, loved it.
As a big fan of Hideo since his days in NOAH as KENTA, I thought it was great all round...popped hard for the GTS even though I knew about it beforehand...
The doco stuff was great too; so cool to see him and his family, and other Stars offer their support to him.

The Japanese media being in town for WrestleMania influenced the WWE for having Hideo Itami in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Really loved the Itami stuff from last night's episode.
He should've lasted longer in the battle royal.

It's still mad seeing KENTA versus Prince Devitt in a WWE ring. Great ep. Itami has improved so much since he debuted, good to see the WWE backing him. NXT is so stacked at the top of the card, can't predict who will take the title off Owens.

You don't know who is going to take the strap off of Kevin Owens.

Its really not that bad anymore and MUCH bigger, bigger then both places they ran in Ohio by the looks of those shows. Plus they ran the arena before with main roster stars, why not run NXT there?

Has the Hideo documentary part of last night's NXT been uploaded independently anywhere? I can only find the WWE 2 minute version on their YouTube channel. Would love to watch it again.
