I have heard about that as well. It is why ROH moved to Terminal 5 (the former Mirage Night Club). Holding events in Manhattan are becoming more and more expensive. There aren't a wole lot of venues the WWE can make a profit from. Unless if the WWE wants to risk holding a house show outdoors, MCU Park in Coney Island is their best option. I would LOVE if NXT ran MCU, but like you said NYC weather can be a bitch. June-August is pretty good for us, the rest of the year has been a nightmare, especially in recent years. Even in late-May, the weather is still rather chilly. Another possible location for the WWE to use for an NXT house show in NYC is Terminal 5. Unlike MCU Park and the Hammerstein Ballroom, it isn't one of those mass transit friendly places. It is quite a walk to/from Columbus Circle. The capacity at Terminal 5 is 3,000 people. |

Looks like NXT is doing a "Pat Patterson-IC Title Tourney" - heres a tweet sent out by WWE Network plugging a replay of the last NXT episode -
Thought it was always a four man tourney - Balor vs Breeze and Itami vs Neville were the semifinals and then the final. I haven't yet watched the episode
(I'm two weeks behind on my NXT viewing-will finish up later today) so did they actually say those quarterfinal matches took place?

Looks like NXT is doing a "Pat Patterson-IC Title Tourney" - heres a tweet sent out by WWE Network plugging a replay of the last NXT episode - Thought it was always a four man tourney - Balor vs Breeze and Itami vs Neville were the semifinals and then the final. I haven't yet watched the episode (I'm two weeks behind on my NXT viewing-will finish up later today) so did they actually say those quarterfinal matches took place? They did take place, they showed highlights of the tournament until the semi finals |

The matches took place at Axxess, but from what I remember, weren't billed as part of a Tournament until now. Ok so the matches were actually done - I see from a couple of reports that all four Quarterfinals took place at Axxess on Friday night prior to the NXT card. So WWE taped the matches out of order - as the semifinals and finals were held at the first Axxess on Thursday night. |

CJ is a good wrestler. But the gimmick sucked. IMO he would have been better off in a faction of a-hole surfers kinda like in Point Break.
