Finn has only lost to Kevin Owens, and Itami at the WM thing last year, but that wasn't televised or anything, so Finn has had 1 TV loss since debuting in NXT Didn't he lose a tag match before London? Joe choked him out I'm sure.

The Detlef Schrempf namedrop was probably my favorite part of this week's episode. He deserves far more name drops all over the sports world.

They definitely left the best CFE show till last. Great show this week.
- Decent tag match to start. Obviously being a football fan from the UK, I had heard of Hugo Knox so was waiting a while to see him debut. Obviously he was never going to win but he didn't look bad so good start. - I really enjoyed Emma vs Santana. Clearly Emma was going to win but the match itself was really enjoyable. How Emma has never got another Takeover title match I'll never know. - The Aries debut was excellent. The crowd reaction, Graves marking out and calling him "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived", and then the Corbin attack. Usually the guy will come and cut a promo before getting jumped so this was a great way to shake up how they usually do these debut segments. Regal's facial reactions were brilliant as was Corbin throwing the t-shirt. Loved everything about this segment. Also would like to point how much of a fan I've became of Corbin recently. His heel "indy killer" gimmick is brilliant. - I won't make my mind up on Samson until after Takeover because he's not being given enough time in his matches to show what he can do. But I hear he's getting good heat on live events so that's a positive. - Balor vs Neville was just a brilliant match. I'd probably put it just above Sami vs Joe from 2 weeks ago as the best NXT match of the year so far. Neville is so underutilized on the main roster it's sad. This is what he should be doing. Tearing the house down, not stuck in 6-mans with the Lucha Dragons while JBL shouts "There's your ESPN highlight!"
Overall, probably my favourite episode of NXT this year (nothing else immediately springs to mind). Really excited for Sami vs Joe 2/3 falls next week. I expect that to top Balor/Neville.

No actual suprise tonight. But the matches were solid, seats weren't bad. Only issue was the 2 drunk guys a few rows behind us that had something snarky to say about EVERYTHING. have all the fun you want, but when you're bothering others.....stop...

I finally got to watch this week's episode, great show all around. Finn Balor vs Neville was an awesome match, probably the best WWE match so far this year, though I may be forgetting something.
Also, Tom Phillips mentioning Bullet Club was awesome, definite great foreshadowing, most likely for Dallas.

I've watched the Neville/Bálor match 3 times now. Blinding match.

Aries/Corbin is interesting. While not the ideal feud I would have seen AA start into, the writing for it is too great. In a company that doesnt remember what happens PPV to PPV, Corbin/Regals slow hatred build actually had a terrific meaning to it. Regal is proud of the free agents he brings in and as he announces the next big one, it is quickly ruined by Baron Corbin. An eye for an eye alright.
Great logical writing, for once.

As a last minute thing, Bash and his brother went to the Arnold Classic. Bash has casually run into Sami Zayn and taken a photo with Corey Graves.
