I think that may have been the right call. NXT really needs to build up the new women and this will go a long way.

I quite loved the Halestorm video montage for Asuka. Carmella is HAF, HYD. Excited as hell for Balor vs Joe. In a vacuum, Joe really needs that win. Big picture, they should both be on the main roster and who gives a who wins. I think it'll clearly be Joe though. Nia gonna eat Bayley fans! That was the way to go.

As a big Halestorm fan I thought it was awesome, they should really do stuff like this on the main roster. Kickass rock music + wrestling clips = recipe to getting somebody hyped.

No, you want Sheamus Flo Rida.

I've been saying for a while now that Murphy looked like he should be a singles star, his good in the ring and has some cool moves I hope he does well on his own and impresses, otherwise that split made no sense like 90% of WWE tag team splits.

I personally feel like what set NXT apart is the athleticism. Especially in the women's division. great athletes, great matches. Nia Jax sucks. Lots of walking around breathing heavy, rest holds, boring. I feel like this is entirely a favor to the rock for some god awful reason. Nia sucks, large out of shape wrestlers suck, they do not produce quality matches. Rant over.

Takeover is shaping up to be a good show.
I hope Nakamura destroys Aries. I've never seen anything about him that makes me go "wow" except for the fact that wow, he's a short stack.

Just because NXT doesn't know what they're doing with him yet, and primarily because he didn't come in as a heel, like he should have, doesn't mean he's not going to be a huge player in NXT or for WWE. You can build a division around the guy. ROH did it in his second world title run, TNA did it with a dead in the water X-Division in 2011-12, and he should be afforded the same chance in NXT or on the main roster with one of the midcard titles. He's a great talker, great worker, and he's got one of the absolute best "chip on my shoulder" attitudes I've ever seen, primarily because it's real. Yes, we are getting end of his prime Aries. However, that doesn't change the fact he 100% is as good as the internet claims. He's just not a guy that's going to prove it to you over night. He's going to do the little things, and have consistent matches, and cut one good promo after the other. It's difficult to come in with hype. So few guys meet an internet buzz expectation. That being said, Aries has the ability to wear you down, and convince you. I personally think Aries is quite a bit like Daniel Bryan in that people are going to have to slowly get onboard. The big difference here though is that Aries has much less time to prove his worth since it took him so much longer to get WWE to sign him, sadly.

I know I probably came off a little harsh, but I've just never liked anything about him tbh. He has just never impressed me. Not that he isnt talented, which obviously he is, but he's just never made me go WOW

His match vs Bobby Roode at Destination X 2012 was one of the best moments in wrestling history imo. His snarky promos and in-ring presence are really good when he's a heel though. I wish he came in that way at NXT. I think it would have gotten over instantly like KO did as a heel and the audience would have just naturally turned him babyface or gotten behind him out of respect. Either way, I think he's far better than what he's been in NXT to this point. I expect his match with Nakamura to be off the charts.

I think Aries would be a better fit as a heel in NXT, too. I've seen his heel stuff and even though I'm not a fan of him, his heel stuff is vastly superior to any babyface work. He's a good heel because he made me want to punch him lol
