So the Alexander Rusev gimmick sucks. I just feel like the "evil foreigner" gimmick is SO played out and doesn't fit in at all with this so-called reality era. If he's a big Russian ass kicker then let him be a big Russian ass kicker. We don't need the cheesy anti-USA stuff with the "crush", "smash", "break him" nonsense also thrown in there. Plus, he's barefoot. I hate barefoot wrestlers. Now that we've taken care of that little order of business let's talk about something else... Dem legs!!!  Got damn!!! |

My section of the crowd had a "We love Lana" chant throughout his match and did not give a rat's ass about him. One case I could say I hope he gets fed to a Cena or Sheamus and is never heard from again.

Don't worry, he's probably only a couple weeks away from being pinned by either Daniel Bryan or Cena before he becomes smiley faced Alex Russell-newest Main Event broadcaster.....As for Lana, she'll be fake crying and slapping women on Total Divas soon enough....

I like him. One way of getting him I think would be to have him as the Authority's new monster since Kane can't be controlled. Then have it lead up to a Rusev vs Kane feud.

I thought putting Putin's face on the screen last night was desperate. If the guy can't get over on his own merit then it doesn't matter what type of cheap heat you try to pull. Because cheap heat is used to play on overly sensitive people.. Overly sensitive people move on rather quickly.
Lana's body is on fire tho.

I actually like Rusev. I do think he'd be better off if he showed no emotion at all times. His camel clutch is a great example, no emotion whatsoever.

He'll be acting like Yakov Smirnoff before you know it. Then the WWE will run clips of Zack Ryder taking him to the grocery store and then to a fast food place and so on. They'll use the old "waiting in line for toilet paper" stuff they think they still do over seas. Throw in a few bottles of vodka and then a dance off with Santino.
As for Lana? She'll start to wrestle and just end up another diva jobber.
