I'm going to be 29 years old in 6 months, & I've never been to a concert before. Not sure why. Probably because I chose to spend my money on tickets for wrestling shows or other sports. But I'm seriously considering seeing one this summer featuring Linkin Park, AFI, & 30 Seconds to Mars I'm older as well....I've been to quite a few concerts over the years & gotta say, for me, they lose their magic in adulthood for that style of music; have to deal with being surrounded by jerks most of the time seen so many bands I couldn't possibly name them all creed, sevendust, tantric, sonic youth, drowning pool, tsunami, dropkick murphy, pacifier, stage, nonpoint, skindred, 12 stones, finger 11, 3 doors down, ronnie milsap, opiate for the masses, yin yang twins (ugh, free), good charlotte, new found glory, switchfoot, mxpx, the transplants, and a lot of others that I've blocked out or am embarrassed to say

More than I can remember. The best shows were Third Eye Blind, Nine Inch Nails, Saul Williams, Johnette Napolitano, and Tom Petty.
I'm pretty much over the concert thing. There's probably only three or four people I'd check out.

Comedy concerts are where it's at, really. Never too old for those. 18 and I've never been to a concert. My friends find this the most shocking thing in the world. I went to my first concert when I was 2 and went to at least one every year, not including music festivals. I got used to people not having been to concerts when I have early on.

That always let me down. There are very few I'd like to see in person, & a few of them are dead, so they are out. One person I know gets a mixed reaction but I'd LOVE to see Kanye West. I've been told he goes above & beyond for his hometown Chicago shows.

Way too many to think of or name. Seeing Tool live is something everyone should do before they die. Animals as Leaders went pretty hard as well.

I've been told he goes above & beyond for his hometown Chicago shows. I'm sure he would def put on a great show. I definitely didn't want to turn you off from going to any, but I just meant to say that I see a difference personally in going now that I'm older to rock shows with general admission pits. There's just a huge lack of respect for other people & their safety (always was, but too old to want to deal with it any longer). There's always the chance somebody will suck, but then there's some once in a lifetime live performances I'll see on youtube that just would be so great to see live. I guess it's a crap shoot. I forgot that I'd seen Motley Crue (3 times actually) & only once was truly good. Creed 3 times & all were very good. Switchfoot..hearing 2 songs live was something pretty special. Some shows, I was in the very front & if I wasn't strong enough to push my own weight back, I'd have been crushed against the rail by the massive weight of other people pushing forward. One show, a band set off like a baby powder explosion as a prank to another band & I couldn't breathe for a very, very long time..I almost had a serious medical issue. I also had a friend get bashed in the head by a crowd surfer's 5 inch heel (and she kept going back up until security stepped in, drunken fool). I had an old lady yell at me and my brother for no reason other than she didn't like us; then the husband tried to step in. Then there's the 300 lb plus 6 foot 5 jerks that will come last minute and push their way in front of you with it too crowded to do anything about. forgot to mention: Alterbridge; Korn & Disturbed (they really sucked live, really sucked..stadium and far away, so couldn't get into it much anyway); I got to go up on stage with drowning pool though, they were very good live with the second singer I'd love to see U2 & Norah Jones, would've loved to have seen Green Day back in the day or Amy Winehouse (always, always been my favorite) before she passed

I had a lot of disposable income throughout college because I worked full time and didn't have many bills so I spent most of my money on going to concerts & WWE live events. It was well worth it.

I started going to concerts at 17 and have gone to quite a few in the past four years. A lot of these were held by my school and were really cheap or else I'd probably not have gone. But it's a fun group, haven't gone to a concert I didn't enjoy at least a little bit. Probably missing the names of opening acts, since I don't remember them all.
Excision, Liquid Stranger, Lucky Date, and DJ Cutman Zedd and 2 Chains Calvin Harris, Childish Gambino, and The Dean's List Kendrick Lamar, Nicky Romero, The Neighbourhood, Robert Delong, and Ab-Soul Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Big K.R.I.T, and Talib Kweli Skrillix, 12th Planet, Two Fresh, and Nadastrom Flux Pavilion and Cookie Monsta Kaskade and Cold War Kids Papa Roach, Escape the Fate, and Pop Evil Framing Hanley, Alesana, Versa Emerge, and Enter the Haggis Outasite, Timeflies, AER, and 5 & A Dime Sound Remedy A$AP Ferg (though I left after hearing the first song, it was a free show)
I think I got them all...was supposed to see Datsik as well but the show got canceled.

Like going to an actual concert? None.
I saw Joan Jett play at Pride Fest but I wouldn't really consider that a concert.

I've been to a bunch of concerts over the years:
Boston (my first back in '97) Journey Foreigner Creed Styx Alter Bridge x3 Breaking Benjamin x2 Sick Puppies x4 Seether x2 Halestorm x2 Five Finger Death Punch Staind x2 Shinedown x3 Fozzy x2 (at end of this month) Adelita's Way x2 Trapt Bayside Rise Against Against Me!
