www.wrestlingnespamource.com/news/34381/Ex-Girlfriend-Close-Friend-Of-CM-Punk-Says-He-Has/I'm hoping this is still just a temporary thing, but yeah; it's not looking like he'll be back any time soon. Seems like Punk just wants to be able to live his life and be left alone to chill out and do his own thing for a while so that he can get out of the spotlight. As much as I love Punk, he can't have it both ways. If he wanted to be known as "The Best In The World" and be one of the marquee faces of the WWE then he should've been able to realize that his days of living a secluded life in the suburbs of Chicago would be long gone. He probably has the largest fan base out of anyone currently in wrestling. I do think he'll be able to go back to living his own life after he officially comments on what exactly happened that caused him to walk out, but that's not going to come until after his contract has officially expired.

"On the rare occasion I can get him out of the house I get to witness how overbearing and creepy people are toward him."
Riiiight.... cause he rarely leaves the house.... then how is he able to attend every Chicago Blackhawks hockey game constantly when they play in Chicago??
I don't trust this chick at all. She is clearly out to get some notoriety and rub off of CM Punk's name.

Well he should have thought about that before he aspired to a PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER. I'm not saying it's okay for people to stalk him but come on, you're basically a freaking celebrity with a huge base. Punk calms off as a crybaby.
This was a guy that wanted to be the face of the company and was upset knowing that he would always be second fiddle to Cena. He wants to be the top dog without having a celebrity essence. You can't only have one. It comes with the territory and I don't feel one ounce of sympathy for him.

He's done multiple pod shows/tv shows (whatever they are) and even a few Cons if Im not mistaken. Dude is just taking time to heal

I would never want fame. A majority of "fans" are sad lunatics. I find it stupid that the guy left on his own terms and people continue to sh** on him. Act like he is a cry baby because people ing stalk his house and say it wouldn't bother them. I call bullsh**. Who cares for his reason of leaving, he's gone. Move on and let him do the same. Funny how a lot of people crucify him for his out of ring persona are probably the same people who talk about how they judge "Beniot the person, not the wrestler." And the guy has had recent support from many older guys like Jericho, Michaels, Ross, and DDP who say they can understand why he left. Yet everyone has to be butthurt because he "turned his back on his fans!" Stupid.

She is clearly out to get some notoriety and rub off of CM Punk's name. except Natalie has been one of his best friends for years and years. He drug her in the ring with him in his final match in IWA Mid South. She was all over his documentary, too. Punk's one of those guy's who fame HASN'T changed. He's always been a reclusive ass hole. I can call him an ass hole, because he'd probably proudly tell you he's an ass hole. He's not a particularly nice person because he doesn't care much for people. I admire that. I'm not an outgoing person either and if I was in his shoes, I'd probably snap on people constantly. I don't see how him choosing to be a pro wrestler means he's now committed for life to people digging through his garbage. I think the best thing Punk could do would be to move to the outskirts of Chicago. Move somewhere like Midlothian or something and be a recluse there for a while if he really wants to just get away.

I don't care. Punk is a bitch just like HBK was!Think about it...Punk Is a mark...just like all of us. He's mad because he doesn't win the rumble, he's mad because he doesn't end the streak, he's mad because he isn't the main event at wrestlemania. Any wrestler would dream to have a quarter of what he had. It's so obvious why he quit. ... Lesnar ends the streak after CM Punk had to lose. Daniel Bryan is in the main event of wrestlemania, when we all know CM Punk wanted that. He was probably scheduled to job to HHH andhe wwanted no part of that. He didn't want to do his job.

And the guy has had recent support from many older guys like Jericho, Michaels, Ross, and DDP who say they can understand why he left. Yet everyone has to be butthurt because he "turned his back on his fans!" Stupid. I see it as this. The majority of the IWC fails to realize that being away from home and over working your body makes you feel burnt out. Many of the performers in the WWE feel this way day in and night out. From hearing Shawn Michaels' take on CM Punk, he understands why CM Punk walked away from the business. I can tell you that Michaels was burnt out after being the WWF's flag bearer in 1996. The same theing has happened with many of the WWE's top attractions. Everybody has their own way of feeling burnt out. Some can tolerate it, some can't. I am a tope of person who appreciates the sacrifices professional wrestlers make on their bodies. It isn't like professional sports where the players have time away to heal and recharge their batteries. Professional wrestlers do not have that luxury. If Punk was burnt out, he has every right to take time off. Not to mention, he has been working hurt since the end of 2012. You can tell how he felt by watching his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX. While CM Punk comes off as a crybaby, let him be. We don't know what truly goes on in his mind. You know, there is a reason why employers give their employees vacation time. After five months, I am willing to bet CM Punk's mind feels fresh and his body has been able to heal.

I'd never leave home either, nor would I ever wrestle again. He's 35, and has enough money to last a very, very long time. Sit back and relax.

I believe most of that story but I think the one about fans camping out in a back alley waiting for a glimpse of CM Punk is a load of bull. I mean, come on....

Eh, I get both sides of it. On one hand, he sat on that stage in Vegas and this is what he wanted. On the other hand, people are creepy and take it too far, and they ruin it to some degree.
Punk has never been a people person. In real life, he's an introvert emo kid that just wants to sit in the corner of the lunchroom by himself with his headphones on. Even before he couldn't go outside without head sick fans sitting in his alleyway, he didn't like interacting with fans. So becoming the guy he wanted to be, becoming the longest reigning WWE Champion in the modern era, made him his own worst enemy in a way.
I think this piece will hurt Punk more than it helps him though in the eyes of the fans. Wrestling fans don't want to hear this. There is an extreme sense of entitlement, a fickleness, and an excessive level of "passion" that makes wrestling fans grow spiteful over hearing this kind of thing. I think in some fans minds, Punk should open his front door and invite these people in for dinner. So this type of article/interview is going to create that "boohoo" or "screw him" type of response, that really started the day he left WWE.
Punk isn't the first guy to not like dealing with fame either. Undertaker, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, not every guy wants to shake hands and kiss babies. I think people need to chill out and give the guy some space. WWE, the media, the fans, we're like a spiteful x-girlfiend that got dumped and we keep begging Punk to take us back. If we move on, and he moves on, he's going to make his way back. Why? Because WWE is the best p*ssy in town. Punk knows that better than anyone.
