Hi guys. In recent months I've been going digital with my comics and I've been trying to sell off my physical comics. I have done very well with the graphics novels but I can't move the single issues. There's nothing all that great in there but I figured at the prices I'm charging they should fly out of my collection. I was offering like 3-7 comics for a starting bid of 99 cents plus shipping.
No one is even looking at these. Any thoughts on some stuff I should try to make them more appealing? I was considering offering them as one bulk lot of random comics.

There is very little value for any comics printed after the 80 and really the 70s. You are most likely best off selling them in bulk but you won't get much at all.

For the most part, yes, though there are some first printings of sleeper hits that are worth a pretty penny. I've seen Walking Dead goes for something like $5,000, and I sold of my Chew #1 first printing for $400. Didn't even know the thing was worth anything.

If I can make $10 off these comics I'd be happy. They are mostly comics from the 90s. The only two I have that aren't worth nearly as much as I thought are Venom #1 and Sabretooth #1.

I tired selling my 90s comics at comic book stores and the response I got was, during the 90s, they were produced in extremely large numbers, so the value for them is really low. The guy told me the best thing to do is just hold them for now, give them to my 5 year old son, and when heβs in his 20s, have him sell them. You should have seen my sonβs face when he heard the man tell me to give it to him. That alone was worth the trip. HAHA!!

You should have seen my sonβs face when he heard the man tell me to give it to him. That alone was worth the trip. HAHA!! That is very true. In the 80's, collecting became very popular. People started bagging and boarding comics so there is tons of supply of these comics out there. In the 90s popularity exploded and Marvel and DC released astronomical quantities of everything, and everyone bought it up thinking it was an investment. With digital comics getting more and more popular, a lot of people are abandoning their collections as well. If you are that intent on getting rid of them, and would take $10 for them. Why not just donate them to a childrens hospital, or childrens charity where they might actually get some use? You would make some kids days and they would be off your hands. I used to have a massive Star Wars figure collection, and I was looking to unload it because I didn't have the space for it anymore. It was thousands of dollars worth of toys. I would have been lucky to get $100 for all of it on ebay. In the end, I gave them to some kids that lived next door to my grandfather because their dad used to help him out a lot before he passed, and they didn't have much money. The looks on their faces as they tore open those boxes was priceless and I still feel great about it years later.
