Backstage News on Evolution Getting a New Member

I don't necessarily mind it being Sheamus, but I'd actually rather see a younger guy fill the role.

Evolution was always about Past/Present/Future.

Triple H, though still active, could easily fill the "past" role, Orton the "present", and a younger guy the "future".

I mean, arguably Sheamus' best years ARE ahead of him, so they could use that excuse. I think they're just looking for a guy with personal/professional ties to Trips and someone of a similar stature to Batista. The only guys I can think of to put in Evolution would be Big E (Just because his career is now directionless and he could resume a muscle role like he did with Ziggler), BNB (who would work the best as he's a similar size to both Orton and Trips, and already regularly wears a suit), and Cesaro, who would work really well but is already in that program with Heyman. None of those guys, with the exception of Barrett's history with Orton, have any ties with the remaining members though.

I definitely could see Cody working (even though he doesn't fill that muscle role), and he totally needs to do SOMETHING. Plus, it would be great to see him side with the Authority after their storyline last year. I can't see Dolph working, though. He's too anti establishment for this to work. Plus Orton already does a good enough job as the Evolution whipping boy.

Why does he get so many opportunities, prime spots, FIGURES, promotional spots, etc.?

The way he gets so many (of everything listed above) drives me insane because in my honest opinion he has done NOTHING special.

Wow, he has clear skin, can punch a guy in the chest 10 times, then kick him in the face, all while having ginger balls...here's a million dollars!

Because he's a good wrestler, works well as a badass when he was given the opportunity, appeals to children and women (and men when not so damn cheesy), has a cultural appeal... I dunno, I couldn't guess why they still invest in him at all

I don’t think Evolution needs a new member. I think Evolution needs 2 new members. My picks are Wade Barrett and Sheamus. There isn’t a better way to “evolve” the Stable based on the past, present and future of this business than to add the current Intercontinental Champion and current United States Champion. They may as well add the current Divas Champion, Paige to the mix as well. Now the question is, who will be the Evolution Tag Team Champions / contenders??

I would be fine with them adding two more people. HHH doesn't need to wrestle as often and should be more in the Flair role now. I'm fine with Sheamus, Ziggler, or Rhodes.
