Whenever i split them and glue them back together, they are never playable anymore, they are really loose and the arms cant even hold in one spot, they just drop down. Is there any way to make the figs actually playable after a torso split?

To me it's rocket science. I can never even split a torso without ruining it. I have no clue how to reassemble it without it being loose. I just don't even try.

Well a solution for the arms is, if you have an extra pair of elbow pads or something like that, cut a small piece off, just so that it will fit into the arm socket on the back part of the torso, stick it into the socket, and wa-lah! It should make the arm just tight enough so that it stays up, but loose enough for play. It's worked wonders for me....
