Before I get bashed for not checking the FAQ and tutorial section, I wanted everybody to know that I've looked at it and appreciated it. But I'm having a HUGE problem with stress marks. I break the pegs or whatever they're called, but I have like white stress marks all over from the screw driver. I ordred about a 100 bucks worth of ROck figs the other day, and I want to make the ultimate one, so I"ve been practicing with all kinds of RAs to try to get the techinque down. I've been very unsuccessful. Is there any help? I tried to boil the fig to loosen it up, but it didn't work. The only thing that I think I may be doing wrong is using too big of a screwdriver. The neck is quite thick and when I get it under the arm it automatically causes a mark (I think). I don't know. ANy advice would be greatly appreciated because if I don't get this technique down, I'm gonna have like a hundred bucks worth of stress marked Rocks.
Thanks. Plus, I'll give Karma for all of the advice.

I've heard that if you either boil the torso after re-assembling it or hold a lighter underneath the marks that it takes them away. I can't validate this theory at all personally, because I've never tried it.

Using a lighter works, but don't hold it too long or you'll get scorch marks...which are VERY hard to get off. Plus, if you're using a screwdriver, stop using it immediately. I only use a butterknife....Screwdrivers have edges that are too sharp and dig into the torsos when you're applying pressure so that makes the stress marks.

Oh, I hit Krystal up with one Karma, and I'll give the other karma when the hour is up. Thanks. The butter knife and lighter seemed to work.
