I don't like a winner takes all match if one of the midcard titles will go away. The winner gets the WWE World Title but would give up their title and someone else would win that title. So Sheamus wins, US title is vacant and someone else will win it. IC and US titles stay, just someone new will hold one of them. Ok, that's fine then. But then that would be a waste to have Ambrose lose the title because if he were still champion, he would have held the title for over a year.

Following Daniel Bryan’s announcement that he needs to have neck surgery and the vicious beat down The Beard suffered at the hand of Kane, The Authority has announced that it will address the state of the WWE World Heavyweight Title this Monday on Raw at 8/7 CT. www.wwe.com/shows/wwemainevent/2014-05-13/the-state-of-the-titleOh no.

It's all part of The Authority wanting the right set of champions. And they'd be able to choose the next US Champion. They could just give it to Randy Orton or another Authority/Evolution friend. Sheamus gets the title off Authority foe Dean Ambrose. Triple H awards Sheamus with the opportunity to be World Champion which he helps him win. And the reason there is an opportunity to be World Champion is because Stephanie unleashed Kane who injured Bryan. Stephanie had Kane injure Bryan so he would have to give up the title. The Authority has now hand picked Sheamus to be the next A+ player.
