On amazon it says october 28th 2014 for the wwe 2k15 release date

Except that's irrelevant because that's not 2K's fiscal year. Just like Konami, their fiscal year ends in March.



Could be a placeholder. Since they have a placeholder art that looks like something 2K actually sends out, though, this could be legit.

What you just said adds nothing. 

I made an original post that shows fiscal year 2015 does not start on January 1st. Many people prior were concerned that the game would be coming out after Christmas. I made a post showing that a fiscal year crosses over from one year to the next. That's all it was meant to do, to help calm the murmurs that a major company was going to miss a major date, nothing more. I should not have been quoted (and misquoted at that) after this.

You however have decided that what I am saying (even after explaining myself) is fact and factually wrong at that. What I first supplied was and is nothing more than supplemental information that fit the conversation at hand (making it relevant) that aids in showing that the game will most likely come out before Christmas. 

You then just partially quoted my explanation and then proceeded to further reiterate what I said, but in your own words and putting emphasis on "ends in March 2015" as if I had made any concern about that (which I didn't).

Nobody was saying the fiscal year 2015 started on 1/1/15. Nobody has said that anywhere in this thread. You can bring that up as much as you want, nobody has implied that at all.



Concerned? There were people who were happy at the idea of six more months of development time. The others weren't concerned, they said they didn't believe it because the game wouldn't miss the holiday rush.



Which people here pretty much already knew given that saying "fiscal year ends in March 2015" to most people doesn't mean their fiscal year is only three months.

You didn't say WHOSE FISCAL YEAR IT WAS. It has nothing to do with 2K's fiscal year, WWE 2K15, or anything in this discussion. What you did here was potentially cause more confusion because you just posted that crap and didn't say "for example, the fiscal year for the government runs from October 1st to September 30th the following year". You're not being misquoted, you're trying to backpedal and you can't do it fast enough.

And as I said before, they were concerned the game would sell less if it wasn't released in time for Christmas. People weren't worried it wouldn't be out, they were speculating that 2K wouldn't want to miss the holiday rush.



Oh me. Again, nobody misinterpreted it. They were speculating that 2K wouldn't want to miss the holiday rush by releasing a game in March 2015 when it would be best to get the holiday buys.

You weren't misquoted, your argument is flawed, you think posting irrelevant information will clear things up when it stands to cause more confusion. Just stop. We have a release date, it's in the fiscal year that is described in the main post and not the one that you posted that has nothing to do with 2K.

There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to use custom themes on next gen systems online.
