If the E29 Andre afro is removable (which it looks like it is), I think Mattel had a great idea with it. However, the proto pic looks horrible. When I looked at it closer, I noticed the front part of the fro looks like it's flat (the red arrows).  Which made me wonder if the afro was possibly put on wrong for the proto pic? Maybe the flat part is supposed to be facing down and on the back of his head. Meaning perhaps the fro might look more like this if it was put on correctly:  Again, it's just a thought, but it may give us some hope in having a great afro Andre. |

The bottom pic looks much better. Lets hope that is what its supposed to look like.

I hate the fact that I'm left with two options concerning this figure.
1. I pass up on an Andre the Giant figure which I have been eagerly awaiting for a long while.
2. I spend my hard earned money on a pice of crap figure just because I feel obligated in doing so after all this waiting.
To make matters worse, I already own this figure without the dumb looking Afro that doesn't even match the figure unless I remove the singlet and repaint the boots etc..

why even ask MDT.. they flat out lied about this figure and many other topics.. i basically take what MDT says with a grain of salt. "it will be much different from the Exclusive" ...umm yea right.
