very fond of my TTL collection.....1st couple of series were awful though. I kinda view my TTL collection as WWF 2000 if ya like.
have
Austin jean shorts/shirt + in ring Rock: Brahma bull shirt + In ring HHH: DX hockey shirt + in ring(RR2000 2 pack) DX Road Dogg DX X-Pac Billy Gunn(his TTLs are crap) Perry Saturn Chris Jericho Eddie Guerrero E&C Dudleys(all released) Raven Hardys APA Cactus Jack(RR 2 pack) Too Cool Crash Holly Kurt Angle Taz Badass UT Kane
and a few more I think I'm forgetting. When I went about collecting these up I went for my favourite outfits on each guy.

The early TTL lines were complete repeats of guys that were made tons of times in BCA form but yes the series got better later on.

I received my first few figs today and I have to say, I'm really diggin' 'em. Since my last post, I had purchased a few more singles and a lot of figures on eBay and just about everything came in today. I have no complaints, except that CM Punk's "straight edge" tattoo is off-center...bugs the hell out of me. Here's everyone hanging out on the only ring I own. The Raven figure is seriously impressive, he's probably my favorite of the whole bunch. Cactus Jack and SCSA are cool, too, and I love how Rock's boots are extra-glossy (not even Mattel gets that right).

That particular Raven (Rulers of the Ring) is hands down the best figure made of him. Doubt we ever see a Mattel one, and the Jakks TNA legends one is of cracked out prematurely aged Raven and not very great either.

He's admitted to a lot, but I've never heard him fess up to smoking rock... That's lible

Raven looks pretty damn rough these days, and he certainly looks a hell of a lot older than he should, and Jakks made a Legends figure that was based on his appearance from a few years ago rather than an actual classic look. For Nash they did a Legends figure of his early TNA career with short hair, same with Hardy, so I'm wondering why Raven wasn't from his first TNA run. And Libel? Good grief.

/\ lol, I love this board.
I also have that LOTR Raven and it was a massive disappoint to me. I bought it around the 1st of the year and it's a mess. One leg barely moves, when I tried the other, I heard a crack and now it won't move at all...the jacket's a mess, the paint on the head is sloppy...so disappointing. This TTL Raven, on the other hand, is awesome. He looks cool, joints are nice and smooth, and I think it has a better likeness. I received a loose lot in the mail yesterday with another TTL Raven; this one isn't wearing a shirt and has solid arms. It's not bad, but it doesn't hold a candle to the other TTL Raven.

I wasn't literally accusing of you libel Charlie Brown =) I've had this idea for a while to remake Francis Ford Coppola's "The Conversation". If you haven't seen it, it's Gene Hackman being paid to tail these people and record everything they are saying, he misses a piece of dialogue with the equipment that was nearest to the couple he was spying on, and therefore has to try and recreate the lost data with other devices that were further away. Anyway, without spoiling too much, he misinterprets an excerpts inflection and it changes the whole movie. This being made in the space between 'The Godfather' and 'The Godfather Part II" makes it very analogue. I joked that they should remake it with text messaging and while trying to figure what autocorrect changed our main character doesn't realize there was a wink . Emoticons matter.

I grew up with TTL and never had a single complaint. Loved everyone I found. 9 Year old me was much easier to please I guess.

I look back now and maybe they're a bit tough around the edges in parts, but I loved them - awesome figures that I had no issue with at all...

I was just noticing the other day that the TTL figures which I actually played with have aged really well. The joints are still tight and they stand just fine on their own. Fast forward to my Ruthless figures, which I've never played with and their arms sometimes flop wildly and ankles are so weak they're always taking dives off the shelf. Some had wobbly ankles right out of the box, most right after you changed the pose a few times.

I never liked that their legs were always far apart. Looked like they were trying to walk after pooping their pants.

TTL figures are classic, as some of you have said though they had horrible headsculpts early on.

TTLs were awesome! Except for the first few series with the horrible head sculpts. I completely stopped collecting WWF figures for a while until I saw the first Real Scan Chris Jericho. Then I was hooked! Their ring attires were always well done, and I loved that there were so many street attires. There had to be at least 30 different TTL Stone Colds and that's pretty amazing when you consider that he really only had one ring attire with a few different colored knee braces.

I enjoy the line like many when Real scan came in. It was overall a good line.

TTL figures were my childhood, I loved them and I still do. I will end up on TTL kicks where I'll buy some to fill out the collection from time to time.
