Tag team cage match. If one partner escapes the cage, the other is left in a 2 on 1 situation. The Hardyz vs Dudleyz comes to mind...Matt escapes the cage and then once Jeff is getting beaten down on, he doesn`t even try to get back in.

I can not believe no one's mentioned the Kennel From Hell match. I never liked the King Of The Mountain match either. The fact that the Championship is sort of tossed around during the match ruins it for me. I kind of like the "penalty box" idea of it, but absolutely hate the whole "hang the belt up" thing. Unlike a ladder match, where the object is to scale the ladder and obtain the prize, in King Of The Mountain, you have to scale the ladder with the prize, then almost surrender it in a sense. I thought of it but I think for me (sticking to the title topic) it made sense to an extent, the storyline was dog related and was supposed to keep snow/bossman from the floor. That being said, the match will go down as one of the absolute worst ideas/executions in history.

Makes me wonder why I've seen it five times. LOL.

I've got another one, the Punjabi Prison match. The less said about that one the better.
EDIT: And what about the Empty Arena match? What the f**k was that all about?!

TNA once did a match called "Queen of the cage" I believe. It involved all the female wrestlers fighting on the floor, and the first to climb into the ring from the outside won the match. Jesus Christ.
Also I remember the first/last time I heard about a "lights out match". It was on the first Smackdown with the fist stage setup, back in August 2001. The Rock challenged Booker T to it, and they blacked out the arena, and wrestled in the 'dark' IIRC.

It's a more recent one, but how about the TNA Dixieland match between Jeff Hardy and Magnus. The concept was they start in a steel cage match and then they have to climb up a ladder and get the belt at the top of the stage. Why would they even bother fighting in the cage? Why wouldn't they just agree to exit the cage together right away and make it a ladder match? It was just senseless.

The Rock/Mankind match was great, don't get me wrong, but the concept is just plain weird.

"Lights Out" match. I still have no clue what it's supposed to be... It was a way for promoters to signal that the official and sanctioned portion of the show was over. Before a lights out match, they'd actually briefly turn the building's lights off. It was a wink wink way of saying "what you seen, that was all show, but this is real" and also to say the promotion is not responsible for whatever the wrestlers do. In the days of "eight big matches, BUT WHO??" the lights out match was typically a ninth match added on top.

White Castle of Fear Match, Sting vs Big Van Vader at SuperBrawl III.
not exactly a cluster@#%@, but just confusing, cause all the lead-up and promos for it (featuring Vader and Harley Race challenging Sting to the match in some type of medieval cave in the Himalayas ) made me think we were getting some type of new concept. instead,it just ended up being an ordinary strap match.

And on the topic of War Games. I never hated the match I thoroughly enjoy them. However i hate the surrender or submit finish. If the War Games matches had the same format and became a 4 on 4 Elimination Tag in the cages I would love them a lot more then I already do. The surrender finish always felt anti-climatic to me for such a huge blowoff match.

I mean I would love to see somebody get eliminated before the last guy entered. Maybe have the faces have to overcome 3-2 odds but they do it winning the match.

I can't think of any in WWE except submission matches with rope breaks. There was one that was so stupid it was infurating, I think it was between Cena and Big Show in 2009.
