I remember what made me just go out of my way to stop watching is when WWE edited a Mickie James match on the wrestlemania dvd. She did something with her hand, she either licked or smelled her hand and it was edited out of the dvd. Right there and then I decided it wasnt for me anymore. At WrestleMania 22 in the Women's Title match Mickie grabbed Trish between the legs and did a V-lick afterwards. on topic: I started watching WWE in late 2008 and still going strong. This is what caused me to stop watching wwe. I was fed up of them editing everything. I buy dvds and they edit out the music, commentators, and who knows what else. I remember looking foward to buying the WM 22 dvd and then I read that they had edited that spot out. It just ticked me off so much. If I pay for something I want to see the event as it happened, not as wwe wishes it had happened.

The closest I came to stopping was end of 09, into 2010 where I wasn't ordering any ppvs, not watching Smackdown and watching RAW when I had nothing else to do.

A week before Eddie Guerrero died. I only read about what's going on in the wrestling world on this site.

Somewhere around 2003?
Kinda got too silly when every wrestler started publishing books and such telling you all the inside stuff!
Its like a magic act, I don't want the magician telling me how he does the tricks. I always knew wrestling was a 'WORK' but I don't want the wrestlers telling me all the time it is.
I still watch the classic stuff man it just seems like they sold more and knew the art of storytelling much better.

Started in like 2000 and never really stopped being a fan.
In late 03 I kind of stopped watching, but I still played the video games and was collecting figs but once HCTP came out on PS2, my friend got into Wrestling and that made me start watching again.

I started watching in December of '98 and have never officially stopped watching for any significant length of time.
I took a 2-3 month break in the fall of 2008 when I first started college. I was just too busy and was adjusting to a whole new lifestyle. I still followed along with the results online and whatnot, but I remember very little from that year in general after Wrestlemania. Even earlier in the year, I was preparing to graduate high school and I just had other priorities.
I also took a 3 week break at the beginning of this year after the Royal Rumble. I felt myself hating nearly everything they were doing, and I just felt like I needed to step away and take a breather. It was exactly what I needed. I tuned back in after a few weeks off and got right back into things. When you're really down on the product, that can honestly be the best way to ramp back up again - just step away for a bit.

Last show I watched was the RAW after Ultimate Warrior's death. Even then there had been a gap between mid 2013 and WrestleMania whatever number this year's was. I just simply have no interest in wrestling whatsoever. The only type of wrestling I could watch today and genuinely have fun watching is an Ultimate Warrior match. He was always my favourite, and he was the sole reason I bothered to watch this year's Hall of Fame, Wrestlemania, post-WM RAW and post-Warrior death RAW.
There are also a few reasons that I believe contributed towards my total loss of interest in wrestling: 1) Today's audience. I can't remember a RAW that I have watched in the past couple of years in which I was not annoyed by the audience. Today's audience is so obnoxious, self-centered and irritating that they go out of their way to boo hard working wrestlers who don't deserve it, start irrelevant chants and just generally annoy, which ruin my viewing. 2) I haven't considered myself as a hardcore wrestling fan since 2011/2012. Since around that time my interest has been going down and down until now I have completely lost it. 3) I just genuinely believe that the general quality of WWE's writing team has plummeted in recent years.
Nowadays I just check the Doctor Who thread in the Entertainment board, the General Video Game Board and every once in a while browse the WWE board.

I normally stop watching once the episode is over, then once the screen fades to black, I change the channel I HATE YOU, FOC.

I've never really stoped, been watching since I was 5. I'm 21 now. I mean I couldn't tell you the last raw I watched start to finish but I keep up with it still.

Became a die hard fan around 02 and stuck around til Wrestlemania 23. After that I just watched Mania every year.
Came back during the Punk angle and have been around ever since. Although I rarely watch Raw anymore I still watch all the PPV's now that their $9.99.
