Ehh...maybe if I can get it on the cheap when I get a One, this just never appealed to me as much as people were going nuts about it.

I've got it reserved at Gamestop. The one I go to is going to be having a midnight release tonight, but I figure, I'll just wait until tomorrow to pick up. Playing Borderlands 2 until then. I was actually glad last year when it got pushed back to it's current release date, since there was a bunch of other games I had already gotten.

I've heard the game only lasts like 12 hours, though maybe when it drops down in price I'll pick it up. Never really understood the hype for it, more excited for Destiny.

Hacking traffic lights is far too much fun, just watching chaos ensue is great.

I was thinking of picking this up, but I think it will be $40 or cheaper within 2-3 months so I will wait. Summer droughts for games suck though.

I'll buy it when it hit the $5 mark for PC. I only buy games at 75% off or more.

Already paid off and buying soon. I guess no one likes paying retail for AAA titles anymore?

I've only done the first mission, when you have to escape the stadium, but I'm liking it so far. I've just been roaming the city, hacking phones, trying to stop crimes. I caused one accident so far with the track light hack.

Already paid off and buying soon. I guess no one likes paying retail for AAA titles anymore? I don't really care for Ubisoft's open world structure. It's almost as if they just throw in things to do such as huge amounts of collectibles just so they can say they have loads of content when collecting those things never adds anything to the games or has any benefits for your character.

Heh.

Heh. Oh, don't remind me. I actually did that. I'll let that game slide since it as the first of Ubi's to actually do that sort of thing. No way in hell would I ever do something like that again. I know this is a bit off topic, but I really hope AC: Unity has a new engine, animations, and new combat system.

Well, I'm enjoying it. Graphics are decent. I feel like I was spiked by Infamous just a couple months ago, and the graphics, while serving their purpose, are not quite as awe-inspiring as I had hoped. I'm not a huge stealth person, but I've gotten used to it over the years thanks to the Arkham game, so that doesn't bother me as much as I expected. The auto fail stuff does get tiring and take me out of the experience at times, but once I get more acquainted with the mechanics and world that'll occur less often. The car controls are very loose. I really do wish they had better car mechanics, it is honestly my biggest problem with the game right now.
Hacking is awesome. The world is quite expansive, and has more interior structure than most open world games. I loved the opening sequence and I'm hoping for more stuff like that later in the game, as I haven't done much other than the first two story missions, a gang hideout, and two fixer missions. I gotta say that the added characterization for the NPC's does nothing for me though. Some of them make me chuckle but I don't feel bad for a random civilian widower with three children. He's got 650 bucks I can buy a shotgun with.

So, I can't hack on my ps4 version. Trying to play the backseat driver mission and I can't hack or profile anyone, every time I pull my phone out I just get a blinding white light. I also can't do anything after I get rid of my first Fixer. It tells me I have to choose a target to hack online and then when I try it tells me I have to complete some introductory thing. It won't let me back out and I have to restart the game to get out

Picked it up yesterday and enjoying it so far.
Hacking stuff is a ton of fun even if the "personal information" which pops up for everyone gets annoying at times. I really don't give a sh*t if random people are chain smokers, outspoken about the conservative government or a wrestling fanatic.
The story is pretty decent and the graphics look good.
However, driving is already a chore and the mechanics need polished. Every car feels like its floating on thin air and is weightless.

I was so excited about this - it was my chosen launch game for the One, so I was pretty bummed when it got delayed. My expectations tapered off a bit, and now I've got such a backlog that I'll be holding off for a little while. The pre-order bonuses and discounts week one make me think it will be able to be had relatively cheap fairly quickly, so I'm sure I'll pick it up sooner than later. Still excited to play it, though, and glad people are enjoying it.
