So, to say that it was fantastic to see Ricky The Dragon Steamboat released by Mattel so soon into their deal would be an understatement. But I was thinking that there should maybe be another one made in the not too distant future. I understand that Flashback spots are precious and we all want to see as many individual legends released rather than repaints. But considering there hadn't been a Steamboat released in mass retail since the Hasbro days when Mattel Legends 1 came out, surely we could get just one more?
Personally, I would choose Chi-Town Rumble in green. Perhaps even released as a Defining Moments figure? That was a great match and landed Ricky a World Title reign.
So if anyone feels the same way, which attire would you go for? I've only included a few in the poll so feel free to suggest one that isn't included. If one takes your fancy in the poll, please vote away!

I choose none where ever that option is. I would rather see new faces that have yet to get a figure. Also he is not a big seller.

Although I agree with you that Chi-Town Rumble Ricky would be the best, I think everyone under the sun wants a WMIII Ricky to match up with their L5 Macho Man and re-create one of the greatest matches ever.
With that said, Ricky Steamboat in white tights also represents one of his classic matches with Flair (in North Carolina baby blue which we're getting). So white-tights Steamboat would meet two needs!

Fingers crossed that Defining Moments comes back.....and we get pink trunks Macho Man.
WrestleMania III Steamboat vs Savage is my favorite match of all time.

if Mattel had done Legends 2 packs properly...
that is, not releasing boring peg warmers that no one really wanted in series 1
i would have loved to have gotten a WM3 Pack with Steamboat & Savage in their attires with an IC belt

Wrestlemania III or those sweet Green (Maybe they were yellow) tights with the dragon on them he wore against Flair in his later WCW run.

Considering that WM3 and Chi-town Rumble would practically be L1 repaints with plain tights, I wouldn't go with those as Elites. I'd rather see a short-haired early 90s WCW version with detailed tights and TV title.

I wouldn't mind another Steamboat, but I can live without another one as well. He already has 3 figures in the Mattel line.

I'm content with the 3 they've made. However, if they did another I would probably buy a WMIII.
