Great figs, both of them. I swapped heads on them because I like straight-faced scans on my Elites. Plus I have the basic posed with the hat and shirt so it looks better with the head the hat fits.

This post made me notice the difference in hairstyles between the two figures. Am I the only who likes the hair on the basic more?

Riiight. I have the Elite (now) but don't regard the Basic as massively inferior...I just prefer the Elite.

I think the Elite looks great. I prefer the smiling look, gives the figure a more sadistic look and feel.
Still not feeling the Basic's Chumlee scan.

I think the basic face looks too pleasant. The elite still doesn't have enough of the crazy, but it's better.
the basic also looks like someone else, but I still can't put my finger on who.

The Elite's facial resemblance is obviously superior. They are both great figs, but his arms are too thin. That seems to be a reoccurring problem with Mattel.

Thanks for the comparison pics, it's great to finally see the two together. The colouring on the elite tats looks so much better and the scan is that bit more refined especially so the hat can sit on well. Enjoy the buys and thanks again for the comparison!

Nice, thanks! I usually don't discriminate against basics but I don't think they captured him at all imo. The Elite looks like they shrunk Bray down, it's perfect.
