I got a really good tip a long time ago about fixing and tightening arms on figures. Anyone here know how to tighten a hip joint on a Mattel Elite? As we all know some are pretty loose even right out of the package. Has anyone found a way to fix that?

Try this on maybe a trial figure to find out the right amount to use

Nope, no crack at all. The leg is not as snug on the joint peg as some others I own. I hate the inconsistency!

Put a couple of drops of Pledge with Future in there and let it dry for 24 hours. I dipped the ball-joints of elite 19 Kane's hips in some Pledge and they're now quite solid. I've found that glue can chip and break off over time. You can find it at Walmart in the cleaning isle with the mops. The current bottle design doesn't have the word Future on it, but the tag on the shelf still does. Get the clear bottle that is a multi-floor cleaner.
